R M Banning Roofing

The staff were nice, and the the workmanship was good, but the charging up front was unclear. It wasn’t until my insurance adjuster became involved that they were spelled out.

Would recommend and will use again. RM Banning scheduled an appointment for a quote within a week at a time when others were scheduling 4 weeks out. Work was completed to satisfaction within days. Bruce and scheduling team were great to work with.

We were very pleased with the entire process. They were very responsive and the price was reasonable.

I had called the office of R M Banning for a roofing repair job and was told due to the high volume of customers (bad storms all week) they would not be able to get to me until the following week. I was given Bruce's number to call and discuss the issue with him. He said he would be in my area the following day and would come by for an estimate. He was the third estimate and came in the lowest by about 100 dollars. He also disputed the need for some of the work the previous contractor had suggested I get, and Bruce explained why it wasn't needed. He completed the work I did need in about 30 minutes and explained to be the work that would be needed down the road but wasn't necessary now. Great work, friendly, trustworthy service, and saved me some money. I will hire Bruce and R M Banning for my next job!

Everything was great! Easy, fast, and free estimate. Didn't try to upsell or find add-ons while performing the job. Also It is hard to find companies that will perform small job repairs but RM Banning does. Definitely met my needs and will consider them for any future roofing or siding needs.

Removed gutter on house to replace fasicia board. Left gutter on ground and says don’t replace. Left metal trim off so soffits exposed. Left gap in facia on one project. Moved solar panel when told to leave for a day to have solar people remove it which resulted in solar tubing damaged and required extra repair. Left nails and trash.

Many of my shingles were blown off during a wind storm where winds were at 60mph or more. I called RMBanning the next day and they were out here that afternoon to assess the damage and provide an estimate. They also put tarp on the roof as rain was called for that evening. I have used this company before and they did excellent work so I had no question about calling them this time. In spite of the large number of people affected by this storm and the weather's refusal to cooperate, I was impressed by how quickly they were able to get the roof replaced once the insurance company had inspected and approved the work to be done. They completed the job in about 2 day's time and the workers were very courteous and professional about their work. When they finished, they cleaned up all of the debris from my property. I now have a beautiful home again with a roof that will last for many years to come. Even if the insurance hadn't covered most of the cost, I felt like the price was very reasonable. I could not ask for more courteous, professional, and thorough service than I received from Richard Banning and have had no hesitation in recommending his company to several of my friends who also sustained damage to their roofs.

Came and checked roof and found source of leak. Immediately gave estimate to fix roof. Estimated amount of time until would fix. Came within the estimated time and fixed for the estimated price. Gave further recommendations to avoid further problems.

Everything went great, I am happy to have my bay window's roof recaulked and to get the ridge vent replaced and better secured. Reading the reviews here made me choose this company, because of how everyone that works for RM Banning is upfront and honest and do not try to get you to have an entire roof replaced when all you might need are just minor repairs.

Wind storm had ripped siding off at roof peak on the side of my end unit town house, leaving attic open to elements. Rain was in forecast when I called Banning (I was referred to them by one of several other companies that did not have time for my small job). A company rep was out same day to cover opening with a tarp. I was able to schedule an estimate within 2 weeks and the job was scheduled and completed within 90 days with new siding that matched back of house and with impeccable cleanup.

First time having major repairs done to my house following a major wind storm. Many other houses were damaged so they weren’t able to get started immediately but they kept in contact on a regular basis to let me know when the project would get started. Both the front office staff and the field workers were very professional and courteous. The quality of the work was great! There was a minor issue that arose following the completion of the project, but it was resolved quickly and the result benefited both parties. Will certainly use them again.

Once the inspector came out, he was professional and helpful, assuring me that the work would be very straightforward to perform.after a receiving their estimate, I accepted and was informed "the girls in the office would schedule me". after a week or 10 days of not hearing, I contacted the office, only to reach the answering service and left a message for someine to contact me. I did not get a return call, so i called again during business hours, (9am-5pm) I again got the service, left a message and waited patiently for the return call. 2 days later and no call back, I called again, reached the service and left a message, knowing I wouldnt get a call back. in the interim, i had texted and called the inspector who originally came out. No response to my text, nor my call nor the message I left. As far as I am concerned, this is a poorly run company that really doesnt deserve to be in business if this is their model of customer service.

They did an excellent job, were responsive and quick.

All went very smoothly. I did it all over the phone, Never had to meet with anyone and work was done well and in a timely manner. No complaints

Great! After a big windstorm in the area, they were the first and pretty much only company to call back. They got the roof gasped and an estimate to me quickly. The people who answered the phone were kind, courteous and responsive. The estimate they sent was thorough, professional and contained copies of their licenses and warranties for their product. they suggested high wind protection shingles and methods for which I was excited. I had never heard of this despite having had the roof blown off twice before. Despite the huge volume of work in the area they got my roof done quickly. They cleaned everything up and even re-roofed my shed to match. Overall a great experience and I feel confident that if there are more storms my roof will stay on.

We needed some repairs to part of a an exterior wall in our garage that had been destroyed by wood boring bees and then some small siding repairs. Water was coming down the wall as a result of the damage. It was challenging to find anyone willing to take on a small job. Banning was one of the few (so guess who we'll be calling when we need a big job). We were happy with the work. They were prompt and professional. Not too exciting to talk about replacing some siding and plywood and making it waterproof. It was done a few years back and it's held up well.

They arrived on schedule and performed the work quickly and professionally.

RM Banning replaced two-thirds of the siding on our house, repaint and perform a few additional tasks for the project. Rich Banning was very professional in providing an estimate and giving guidance on the best way to complete the project. Rich's team was very efficient completing the project within a week. I was amazed at how quickly the work was done, given the amount of siding that needed to be replace. We are very happy with the outcome and have received compliments within the neighborhood. Rich's team was also responsive in performing additional items, including lighting and drywall work that was added to the project.

Terrible!!! absolutely terrible......first, they missed out initial appointment due to rain which is fine, but they only informed my 20 minutes via email saying "we've been trying to call you but we have the wrong # for you"!!! I was like, hmmmm....ok...we rescheduled the next day from 10 am - 12 pm. They said the owner will be at my house to inspect. He came knocking at my door at 9.40 an which is fine, but at least call on your way here. When I stepped out, he was sitting in his truck on the phone with someone, as I approached him, he said he'll be with me shortly! ok, then he knocked again on my door saying he wanted to show me something as my aluminum siding is shared with my next door neighbor and he immediately refused to further discuss any additional details. I told him all contractors said they'd put J channel to separate it as my neighbor is replacing his to vinyl as well, so no problem here. I even showed him a similar unit in my neighborhood that has two houses siding separated with J channel. He said he won't do it as my neighbor would sue him!!!! he immediately stopped discussing anything, said good luck and to call him when I sort the siding issue "currently none" and he got into his car and left!!! It was obvious from the start that he has another appointment he wanted to get to as quickly as possible from the way he was talking to me. I called him right after he left and said, just at least give me an estimate including the roof, so I can call you back once I'm ready, he refused, hung up and left. It was disrespectful, condescending and very very unprofessional behavior. I've never ever been treated that way from any contractor and anyone like this. If you don't have time, then dent waste my time and show up! I'll never call them neither recommend them to anyone. I'm glad there are plenty of respectful contractors who are very interested in my project and are ready to make money. My advice is to stay away from this company because they're not professional at all.

Several companies did roof estimates for me and told me I needed to replace my roof after a high wind storm blew a few shingles off. Since I’m elderly and can’t climb up on the roof to see for myself I had to take their word for what needed to be done. Their estimates were very expensive and I didn’t know how I would be able to pay for it and it caused me a lot of worry. After that, Jason from R. M. Banning showed up to do an estimate for me. He took his ladder off his truck and climbed up on the roof to inspect the problem. After his review and analysis of the roof’s condition, he told me that he could repair the roof and I had at least another five years life left in my roof and did not need to replace it at this time. I was actually shocked to hear this after what I had heard from the other companies. I was so appreciative and thankful for his honest assessment of the situation and his being so truthful with me. It’s so good to know that there are still truthful, honest people left in this world. I mentioned to him that we still had shingles left over from our shed installation that matched my house roof and I told him we could use those when the repairs were done. To my surprise, Jason suggested he do the repairs on the spot. That was another unexpected, but pleasant, surprise. Of course, I agreed and Jason made the repairs promptly at a very reasonable price. I can’t effectively express in words how grateful I feel toward Jason and R. M. Banning. But, I am a very satisfied and happy customer and give them the highest review possible. They actually changed my life and took away my roof “worry”. I actually feel like an angel named Jason showed up at my door and fixed my roof problem at a time when I really needed help. Thank you for everything and if I knew a word better than “excellent” I would use it to describe your company!

This isn’t our first time we chose RM Banning and will continue to hire them. This time we had damage from a raccoon making a home in our attic so they were on standby while it was humanely trapped and all the insulation replaced. They’re always on time and that’s important for me. Also, easy to reach, and everyone is courteous and professional, from office to workers.

They scheduled somebody to come out very quickly. They came on time, and, even though they originally were only planning to tarp the area and give me an estimate, realized that the they could fix it quickly and did so. They even gave me an excellent price.

Very well. Very prompt and service done as described and agreed upon. Would definitely recommend them and will use again.

RM Banning was the only company to respond to my phone messages. They came out the day they promised and triaged the damage. They came back within a week and completed the repair.
