Poorly. This company parked their truck in front of my house while working at my neighbors house. Their truck slid into the ditch in my front yard causing damage to my lawn and large ruts in my ditch. This was on a Friday. I helped them get out by loaning them jacks and blocks. I was not thanked nor did I get an apology. They left the mess over the weekend. On Monday they returned and did a poor job of making repairs. I called and was told a landscaper would return to fix the mess. No one has called to schedule a fix. The office has not returned my last two calls and I am still looking at the mess they made. Why they have a good customer rating is beyond me. I have complained to Fairfax County Consumer Affairs Office. and am awaiting a resolution.

Took time to get on the schedule as they are very busy but arrived early on scheduled day. Yard was cleaner after they left than before they got there. Came the next day to grind the stump. Best price of 6 companies I called. I would definitely use them again.

They did a great job at a great price. Very responsive and work was completely in a timely fashion.

Spoke with Jeannie, very nice over the phone, explained my concerns. May 3, 2017 she had Steve Jones, Arborist, come out, assessed the trees gave his recommendations on several of my trees. I was sent an e-mail proposal, called Jeannie to confirm. May 16, 2017 their tree cutting experts came, trimmed & cabled 1 tree and cut down 3 trees, cleaned up all brush, limbs, trunks. I found this company Professional and would hire them again.

I was very satisfied with the process, so much so that we have used them at my mother in laws home too. They are prompt, courteous, careful and do a great job with removal and clean up.

Their office administrator was pleasant and prompt, and I appreciated the visit from their estimating arborist, who showed me the signs of the emerald ash borer that killed the trees. When we decided to add the leyland cypress trees to the job, the estimator was able to give us an additional price based on his earlier visit and my emailed photos. We selected Quality in part because the job seemed potentially tricky, and Quality is licensed, insured, and pays workers' comp. One of the team members that arrived was celebrating 10 years with the company, and that longevity reflects well on the business. The team arrived on time, and worked steadily and safely (helmets and harnesses) with only a break for lunch. They could not have been more professional or personable, and we were extremely pleased with the result. This was a big job, and we took a number of bids from highly-rated tree services on the list: Quality's bid was the most reasonable and most complete (stump grinding). We will definitely use them again, and I highly recommend them.

Outstanding service. We had tree limbs trimmed that were hanging over roof and back deck. They showed up on time, did great work and completely cleaned up all debris. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent work. They were prompt in providing a detailed estimate for the proposed work. Very knowledgeable about how best to prune the trees to deal with height issues and branches over property lines. When the team came out they did a wonderful job - working both quickly and safely. They cleaned up - well and they were especially careful not to cause any collateral damage. The trees looked great and they remain healthy.

They spent about five hours felling a dead tree and cutting it up, topping several trees, and pruning branches up to 30 feet from several other trees. The cleanup was most impressive as you could not tell they had even been there (and all sorts of service providers I've used outdoors in the summer have left water bottles I provided strewn all over and into the forest where they are hard to find.)

They did a fantastic job, cleaned the site up well when finished and showed up right on time. We had used another tree service company in the past that we were not as happy with, and pruning this Bradford pear tree can be tricky because if it is not done right it may cause it to split. We had multiple estimates with other companies for the job that were all higher than this company's final rate.

David Whitt and Staff are the best! We will never use anyone else from now on. Dave was here to check out the job quicky after we contacted him. He returned an estimate that same day. We were told the job would be in about 2 weeks and that is all we had to wait. About 4 workers came today and within 4 hours or so both trees were down and hauled away. Someone used a blower to get rid of the sawdust scattered around and all the patio furniture was put back in place. Very professional team and service was exceptional. Diana & Wayne

They also have arborists on staff who really know their craft. They are very knowledgeable about what needs to be done. They walked my property with me and gave great information about the trees. He pointed out the difference in the trees and what care they would need.They provided a great proposal that was clearly laid out with options. As a result of their recommendations,I had certain things done. They clearly explain why they recommended certain services. Their pricing is reasonable. I am sure glad I did after the harsh winter we had. The staff is very professional and timely. They are easy to get a hold of and very customer oriented. They are prompt and easy to schedule.

My call was returned promptly after I contacted the company and someone came to my house a couple days later to assess the work that needed to be done. Steve explained very clearly what could be done, gave me some options, and gave me an estimate for each option right away which made my decision to proceed much easier. Dave called me the day before the crew came over and everything went well. One of the trees, the bradford pear, looks so much better now that the branches have been trimmed and is well shaped. The crew was very professional. They cleaned up everything and there were no debris left behind. I am pleased with the work and would hire them again.

The job went better than we expected. When we got home from work on the day of the service, my wife and I were in awestruck when we saw our tree. The tree looks professionally done and presentable. You can tell that Quality Tree Care took great pride in their work. We can tell that they cleaned up after themselves. We didn't see any debris or trash around. They most likely swept the driveway since we didn't see one leave lying around. Even to this day, we are very proud of our tree as well as Quality Tree Care. We highly recommend this provider and will use them again in the future.

Normally don't write reviews but Dave Whitt and his employees are top notch. Two different crews did work at my house and both were professional, on time, and efficient. Dave evaluated my needs and gave me a very fair price compared to the other quotes I received. One task was to tree climb large oak tree to remove some dead limbs and second task was to grind up a number fo tree stumps. Both were professionally done to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend anyone needing tree services to speak with Dave Whitt before making a decision. You will not regret the decision

Fantastic! The crew of about 8 arrived exactly on time, 0900. It took them approx 5 hours to get three trees cut down, stumps ground out and the other trees trimmed. They cleaned up every branch and leaf. Excellent work.

This is the second time we have used them and both of their estimates were spot on. They did the work well and cleaned up so we didn't even know they were there. We just contacted them again for a third job and will continue to use the for our future work.

I called and the came and gave me an estimate in two days. They came a week later and did the work and cleaned up. I have used this organization in the past and always been pleased with the work and cost.

Found four companies on Angie's List. Called three and two responded promptly. Arranged a meeting with the two companies to obtain tree analysis, recommendations, and a quote for tree care and as a last resort --cutting. Both companies had very good reviews on Angie's List, but Quality Tree Care has at least two full-time Arborists on staff and the other had a consultant Arborist on-call. Quality Tree Care sent one of their certified Arborists and we discussed the history of the trees and their current condition. Steve recommended treatments for the trees with aphids and borers. Unfortunately, it was too late in the season to get the trees treated before winter. So we are on their calendar for Spring treatments. Steve also recommended pruning specific trees, cutting down certain dead limbs that posed a safety hazard, fertilizing all the trees, and we finally agreed to cut one tree that had a large hole in it and was also growing with a deep split V-shape that left both trunks weakly grounded. We met on October 25 and they sent a team by December 5. The lead (Mark?) was amazing and handled all major portions of the job. He is experienced, meticulous and really knows his stuff. I have used two tree companies prior to Quality Tree Care and was amazed at the heightened professionalism and skill. Their prices are competitive and you get what you pay for with them. They also provided a 15% discount to Angie's List members which resulted in a $235 savings on services provided to date. My only minor gripe is that some of the younger guys on their team could take a lesson from their Team Lead. One left a can of peaches and a spoon in a corner of my yard (never acceptable). Throw your trash away immediately. Another young guy, who trimmed the small tree limbs in the front yard, did not remove the limbs after he cut them. The next morning I found them all over the front yard. My advice to the younger guys: "Emulate your Team Lead in the care and quality of your work." Aside from these small issues, Steve and Mark did a great job and are absolute professionals. I look forward to working with them again this Spring.

Fantastic work. Steve responded and provided a very reasonable estimate. Work was performed the following week. I had two pine trees removed, stumps removed and 2 trees pruned. They very great. Work was performed as stated, they were quick, professional and did a wonderful job removing all debris. I would definitely use them again.

This was a small job they did after removing a large tree in a neighbor's yard. Since someone was coming with equipment to grind the stump for our neighbor, they had time to remove a stump in our front yard too. Dave and his crew have taken care of several trees on our property in recent years and always provide prompt, neat and professional service to preserve the health of our trees. We like working with them.
