We visited two granite companies based on Angie's list reviews and chose Pyramid mainly for the reviews and then for cost. On our visit, Bat was reluctant to pull out the samples of granite we wanted to see - mainly as they were so busy and down an employee. But he ended up doing so and I was able to put my name on a slab to hold. My husband went back later to get a piece of the slab which they willingly gave us so we could better match the flooring to counter tops and cabinets. They arrived on the scheduled day to measure, which went quickly. Installation was on time and the installers were very professional - definitely knew what they were doing. I will use them again when I'm ready to update our bathrooms.

Our experience with Pyramid Granite echoes the other rave reviews on Angie's List. We visited their showroom in search of a small piece for the counter of our wet bar, and the staff treated us as respectfully as if we were making a much larger purchase. After we narrowed the remnants to two leading contenders, salesperson Degi looked at our choices and, at our encouragement, was willing to offer her opinion - which we greatly appreciated. We were even more impressed that she recommended the much cheaper option. We measured and installed the granite piece ourselves, but installation went seamlessly because Pyramid Granite's fabrication of the granite was impeccable. We also were very pleased that they sell sinks and faucets on-site at their cost, so we were able to streamline our process and do so cost-effectively. When we have the budget to replace our kitchen counters with granite, we'll definitely use Pyramid Granite again. Highly recommend.

All went well with our cabinets and countertops. George Barrenechea was the best! He helped us design a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom. He was always available, made numerous visits to our house, took care of any problems that arose. George has a great eye for design and is extremely knowledgeable in cabinetry construction. It was a pleasure to work with George.

I would hire this company again and recommend them highly. Not only are their prices fair but their customer service and quality of work is excellent. They have a huge selection of granite and were very helpful. The workmen really knew what they were doingi and the measurements they took were precise for our little galley kitchen. I found them to be very easy to work with.

Am very pleased with Pyramid Granite, from initial shop visit to receiving a quote to final installation they were professional and courteous the whole way through. The quartz countertops were installed today and they look great. The crew even helped shore up my one cabinet that was unstable after the old countertop was removed, greatly appreciated their customer focus. I had gotten quotes from 4 companies and am very glad I chose Pyramid Granite.

When it comes to my overall experience, it was great. However, they cut a piece of granite too small ... they failed to account for the proper overhang. While they did come out and attempt to fix it they couldn't. Why? they'd end up breaking the granite as the glue they used was just way too small. So, I'm left looking at an unfinished seam and a chip. I was happy with everything but this issue ... but this is a big issue. For this reason, I cannot recommend Pyramid Granite. I have pictures ... but it appears I cannot post them.

Very satisfied with the price, performance, and results. The only issue was that they failed to initially note that a backsplash was needed on one of the bath countertops. Later, we were told they would fix an issue where the end of the countertop was still adjacent to dry wall, but they didn't until we called them back an additional time. They did fix this right away, and, several months later, we are still very happy with all the countertops. I would like to give them a B+ or A- on professionalism, but this is not available.

Excellent. Bogi (saleman) was very helpful to me in selecting a granite color that I would not have chosen on my own and the appropriate fixtures. She priced it right, too. The installation went very well. I've used Pyramid twice and would use them again. I would specifically as for Bogi, but I'm confident any member of their team would be helpful.

Love this company! They respond very quickly to messages, are easy to work with, schedule and complete the work on a timely basis, materials and finishes are great, perfect pieces of granite, workers are professional, friendly and courteous. The cost was 1/2 of the estimate given by another company. I am not one to go with the lowest estimate. The quality of work and materials is the most important thing to me. I will pay extra for quality work. But in this case, the company with the lower estimate did wonderful, very high quality and professional work. Who can ask for more?! I recommend them highly. The installation went great. They were very responsive to my need to get the oven installed quickly because we were putting our house on the market to sell. The same team that installed my cabinets a year ago came out and installed the new microwave / oven and they did a great job. Price was good vs. Lowes estimate and they were able to get the same cabinet material to plug gaps in the cabinet since the new appliance was shorter than the old one removed. Lowes wanted to use some black plastic piece as the filler material. I have used these guys twice now and will use them again.

I replaced a cooktop and the cutout needed to be about a 1/2 inch bigger in both dimensions. I called several granite companies and most were not interested in the work. Pyramid Granite said they would be happy to do it two days later in the morning. Three people showed up on time removed the old cooktop, carefully measured the new one, and did the cutout. They cleaned up very well after themselves, put the new cooktop in the opening and put the old one in the box the new one came in for easy removal later. The whole thing took less than an hour.

Pyramid did a quality job, which was most important to us. Our contact was Bogi, who is the most incredibly patient person. They gave us a competitive quote, but then had to wait months while we went shopping for some additional cabinets and then requote and remeasure. One thing that sets Pyramid apart from the other fabricators we got quotes from is the instrument they used to do the measuring. It's not a tape measure, like others used, but a device that they set up on a tripod in the middle of your kitchen and measures the distance to about a hundred points on and around you counters and cabinets. It takes EXACT measurements in 3D space, and forms a picture in the computer that is fed into their cutting machine. If your counters or walls are uneven, this is the technology to use. They showed us a layout of our slabs on the computer superimposed over the outline of our countertops, and moved the layout around so that the parts of the granite that we found most attractive were featured in the right places on the counters. The machine cuts the granite just like the image, and it came out EXACTLY as we wanted it. If it's off by 1/16 of an inch, I'd be amazed. We wanted to select our own fixtures. I'm very particular (type-A picky) about quality and getting all the features I want. Because we were distracted by other matters, Pyramid had to wait a long time before I'd assembled the slabs, sink, faucet, filtered water dispenser, and garbage disposal. Bogi didn't bug us, but offered helpful advice on what would look good, and even spent some time helping with the hardware search. On the day of installation, the six-person crew showed up right on time, spread out a fabric tarp over our kitchen, and set to work. This crew was incredibly efficient, like a surgical team. It was like all of them could read the foreman's mind. When he wanted something, it appeared. They handled everything very carefully, but all knew their jobs and worked very quickly. There was no standing around, no hesitation. I watched the entire time and was very impressed with how careful they all were. They just walked around my curious dog watching from outside the kitchen. They built up reinforcement within some of my cabinets, framed the sink supports, installed the slabs and sink, caulked around, and finally sealed the granite. There is an unavoidable seam in the granite that we can hardly see. Before they finished they did a careful job of putting things away (very organized--no big bucket o' tools here). They were done in just a few hours, and did a quality job. Their plumber stayed late and did a careful job installing the hardware. For $350, he snaked out the drain line, installed a Delta touch-sensitiive faucet with wiring, installed the filtered water dispenser and made a conversion to connect my water filter with a different size tubing to the dispenser, made a similar conversion for the way I wanted the soap dispenser set up to draw from a big bottle under the sink, and hooked up the huge disposer I selected, which required cutting the pipe and rerouting it. He was extra careful with one particular connection, to make sure nothing leaked. Everything works perfectly and looks beautiful. I'd definitely recommend them for a quality job at a good price. Outstanding.

Excellent! The owner is conscientious and very customer service oriented. We worked with Bogi. Bogi was very responsive and helpful. She has a great sense of style. The installers were prompt and efficient. They did an outstanding job installing our granite. Bogi was very paitent with us. We did not choose our granite on the first visit to their showroom or our second. Never did she rush us or push us into a decision she only guided us and helped us pick the best granite for our home. We obtained 2 other quotes from granite providers closer to our home but ultimately we went with Pyramid Granite because of the quality of their granite, Bogi and the integrity of the owner. We have future projects and will use Pyramid Granite.

It was fine. We had Pyramid Granite and we liked them. The service provided was very good. We have spoke to them a couple of years before and we tried them again. We liked it this time. They were very good, very professional and they were very quick. Everything about them was good. We were very pleased. They cleaned up very well. I would recommend them very highly. They helped with the design and they were very good at suggesting.

Pyramid was very responsive to my initial request and service was very fast. Also, we appreciate that Pyramid was willing to do this work; some countertop companies said they couldn't do the work because they had not installed our countertop. But since the countertop was already there when we moved in, we don't even know who installed it! So we were very grateful that Pyramid was willing to take on the job. We'll definitely keep them in mind if we ever refurbish our kitchen.

LOVE this company. From the installers, to the fabulous Claudia- they are professional, precise and quick. Their customer service is exemplary- they stock a variety of surfaces and their design advice is always excellent. They have now done two bathrooms, one bar top for us as well as our kitchen counters...and we would never use anyone else. A+++++++ all the way!

We were directed to Pyramid Granite by Kitchen Saver's Adam Taylor. We were able to save money by working directly with Pyramid Granite than going thru Kitchen Saver. We met with salesperson Bogi at Pyramid. She asked many questions about our project and listened to our answers. As we were going to have white cabinets installed, she found a sample cabinet door and we took that out with us as we looked at slabs of granite. Being able to see how the color would look with cabinets made all the difference in the world. I provided her with the measurements of our ktichen and using them, she gave us an estimate. We agreed to have her measurement person come out to get the exact measurements to provide us with a cost. The technician Bogi sent out was very professional and used his computer to get the exact measurements. The technician said that we should go with a five inch backsplah since the thickness of the granite would be less than the current laminate countertop. This would allow us to cover up any poetential issues with removing the existing backsplash. We met again with Bogi and made the 50% down payment. On the day of installation, we ran into a problem with the drywall where we had a garage removed. The drywall behind it was at a different depth than the rest of the kitchen and the Pyramid installers could not finish the backsplash installe. They did install the countertops (4 sections of granite; only one seam) along with installing the sink, faucet, soap dispenser, garbage disposer and reconnecting the diswasher. Once the drywall issue was resolved, I contacted Pyramid and the next day they came out and installed all of the backsplash pieces. The additional height of the backsplash looks great. As does the whole install. We are very pleased with the work done by Pryamid Granite. Please ask for Bogi when you go to their store. She will take good care of you and the work will be done by their installers. Highly Recommended.

Simply stated, Pyramid Granite is perhaps the best buying experience that I have had in the last several years. I read the reviews on here, and I concluded that all the nice comments about Claudia were too good to be true. But they aren?t. Claudia is polite, articulate, very bright and doesn?t oversell. She listens well and doesn?t give you that endless sales banter. She knows exactly what she is doing, and is amazingly efficient. In short, we selected a beautiful piece of granite (Typhoon Bordeaux) that we really like (and received a free sink and faucet that we really like as well), had it installed perfectly and on time, and all for about $600 less (%20) than we were quoted at Home Depot for a far less impressive piece of granite. A word about Home Depot ? don?t. Period. The Home Depot game is all about locking you into a contract, and then discovering when you go to select your granite at the yard that what you really want is $15-20 more per square foot. At that point you cannot cancel.

We had an excellent experience. We found our salesperson, Bogi, to be just the perfect consultant in choosing our granite and backsplash tile. She provided very helpful suggestions on the pros and cons of various options which made us confident in our final selections. Pyramid coordinated installation seamlessly with our general contractor. We did hit a slight bump when we suspected the installer was installing the tile in the wrong way (long story). However, we soon discovered via Internet research that we were wrong and they immediately rescheduled installation. We appreciated their responsiveness and flexibility in light of our error. And we are very happy with our results!

They came out to measure & the tops were ready 5 days later. They were on time & the tops are beautiful. They were very helpful when we were choosing our pattern. They have a huge selection of products & we also purchased the sinks there. We would use them again & recommend to our neighbors & friends.

We researched companies through Angie's and were impressed with recommendations from customers of Pyramid. Their showroom is a little rustic, but great personal service, worked us a great deal, showed up when they said and delivered as advertised. We had a new dishwasher and stove top put in right after Pyramid's installation and they were great to work with the appliance company. They do more than just counter tops, check out their other work in their showroom books. I will go back if I need any other similar work.

Claudia was very nice and professional over the phone and emails. She gave VERY detailed estimates, provided discounts and free deals without me asking for them, gave several combinations and options and even picked out similar colors in other brands to help with pricing alternatives. We ended up going with a different vendor, but you should definitely get a quote from these guys if you are in the market for some countertops!

They sent a technician to use some kind of electric device to measure the space for the counter top and island. I liked having a discussion with the technician on the shape and size of the island because the final product was very good. I thought the sales rep or technician Claudia was excellent. She was very helpful and knowledgeable when responding to my questions and providing good information when helping me find the right color granite for my kitchen design scheme. The only hiccup in the entire process is that I thought the one (and only) seam in the countertop was a bit too big/wide. I ended up using a black sharpie to darken the grout in the seam and that really helped. I think the seam could have been smaller though. But overall things look good. I'll use this company again when I decide to remodel the master bathroom which will include replacing the counter top in that space too.

Pyramid's price was competitive with a few other countertop places, but I chose Pyramid because Claudia was so helpful and checked to find remnants of specific colors I was looking for for the baths. I also had great assistance in picking out a new kitchen sink. The countertops look great! After 8 months of use, there is one very tiny nick in the edge around the kitchen sink - probably a more rounded bevel would have been better. No staining problems or signs of wear at all. (Quartz is supposed to hold up quite well.) I would use Pyramid again.
