Pyramid Granite LLC

After looking around I found Pyramid Granite. The owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. Initially they came out for measurements which was scheduled within 2 days of calling. After that I visited the shop to pick out my preferred stone slab. The owner was extremely helpful and made several helpful suggestions. I opted for a granite countertop, and also a sink, all of which was purchased and installed by Pyramid. The plumbing was contracted by someone connected to Pyramid, and was also a true professional. I purchased my own faucet from Lowes and it was defective. The plumber advised me of this and offered to install one he had in his van (mine was leaking after installation)., which saved me time and a huge headache. I agreed and everything was installed perfectly. The price was well under 50% what HD offered, and the job was flawless. I had also done some sheetrock work right before the granite guys came and there was quite a bit of sheetrock dust around the kitchen. The guys cleaned up their mess as well as mine, that was a pleasant surprise and very unexpected. I recommended Pyramid to a friend at work and his wife called to have their counter tops replaced before a party. She called on a Thursday and explained she was having a big party on Saturday. Pyramid came through big time and got measurements and installation done by Saturday. Now that's A+ service! Don't waste your time looking around, go with Pyramid!

My husband and I went to Springfield to meet with Claudia for our granite selection. We saw several choices but nothing really spoke to us. We described a granite slab we had seen on the internet and she said she knew what we were looking for. She sent us to their distributor and she was right. They had the piece shipped to their shop and fabricated for us.

Very reasonable and efficient. I was referred by my realtor. Selection was plentiful and Claudia was very helpful with showing articles in our price range and color. Took four days for them to schedule measurements and ten days to schedule installation but 2 days prior asked if ok to come a day early. No issues. This was first time dealing with replacing countertops... Guess I expected more hassle.

They arrived when I was still in bed. But they didn't have a loud boom box or anything, so I barely knew they were there. My husband and I had prepared the area the night before but they took out all the drawers for us that morning. They were finished and gone by lunchtime. So, maybe two hours solid work was the total they were in our house. They left and their plumber showed up to put in the disposal and faucet. By dinnertime, we were up and running again. We are the envy of our senior development's neighborhood. And they wanted to charge us US$9,600 for the upgrade. Luckily, we said no thanks, anyway, we'll find someone else to do this for us and we did and it was a happy experience. Thanks Angie.

The removal of old tile and installation of new counter tops went well. However, we had numerous problems with the plumber. He did something so our dishwasher was not working. Our refrigerator was affected. During the installation of the counter tops, the "instant hot" got broken. The company and the plumber were very slow to respond to our phone calls. We were left over a weekend without a response and without knowing if the plumber would return. As it turned out, he did and made the necessary repairs. It ended up costing more money because we paid for the new "instant hot." The counter tops look great.

I learned about Pyramid Granite on Angie's List and was curious to see their selection of granite. My husband and I were overwhelmed by the choices but we received all the information and guidance we wanted and needed from Claudia. She was great! We decided on the granite the second time there. A technician came within a couple of days to measure our countertops and assess the tile work needed. We learned the slab we chose was not quite large enough to avoid a seam in one of our counters so Pyramid located more of the kind we chose that would meet our needs. The estimate included everything and the double stainless steel sink and beautiful faucet were free! They are also excellent quality. We also received discounts because we chose Pyramid via Angie's List! The entire job took 3 days and our walls required a tremendous amount of repair after the old tile was removed. I cannot say enough about the quality of work performed. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. The removal of the old counters and tile was efficient and well done and the new granite counters are perfect. Within minutes of that crew leaving the plumber was here to install the new sink and faucet. He did a great job and my husband commented on it being a better set up than the one we had before..Gana led the crew on day 2 and 3 and repaired our walls and installed the granite backsplash and marble tiles.Because we didn't want tile on the entire wall as it was before he had to make part of it ready for a paint job. He is very skilled! He was also very good about making sure he understood the pattern we wanted with the tile.His attention to detail was outstanding. Everyone that came to work paid close attention to cleaning up as they worked and leaving my kitchen as neat as possible. From beginning to end all were good at communicating and making sure we were on the same page.

This is the 2nd time we have used Pyramid. Again, they have delivered above and beyond expectations. We have talked with other competitors but have not received the level of customer service than we have with Pyramid. They do outstanding work at an outstanding price!

I was very please overall with my experience with Pyramid Granite. My wife and I were looking to get new counter tops to replace the old laminate that came with the house. I carefully drew up a diagram and sent it to a number of different companies and Pyramid had the best price and since it is a top rated Angie's List company it was a no-brainer. After we engaged their services we went to their store in Lorton to pick out a a slab of granite. We decided on a color, but the sales man suggested that a different type would better match our cabinets. Upon reflection we agreed. The next step was to send out a guy to measure the space to get a more accurate quote and to allow them to cut the templates. We were very happy to see that the numbers from the estimate were very close and we paid a 50% deposit. The day of installation came and the guys did a very fast and thorough job. I was initially concerned about how the seams would look, but I was pleased to see that they line up perfectly. The counters look great and everything was done in about three hours. I would recommend the company to anyone who is interested in getting granite counter tops.

Met with Jorge and we were shown a number of slabs - chose one that was part of their sale (because we liked it, not because of the sale). It was significantly cheaper than Lowes/HomeDepot. The next day they came to measure and less than a week later it was installed. Installers were fast, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. Fantastic company - highly recommend and will definitely use them again when I get around to redoing our bathrooms.

I was extremely impressed with the selection of granite available and the pricing was way lower than Home Depot. Bat at Pyramid was extremely helpful and gave me insight into the project. The installers were very professional and installed the counter tops in what seemed like minutes. The workmanship was great and everything was very professional I would suggest them to anyway looking.

Pyramid was extremely accommodating in giving me pricing, an estimate based on my renovation plans, and conducting several more estimates (all free) after I had installed new cabinets about 6 months after I contacted them. They also honored the sale price they quoted me many months earlier, after the first estimate. Not only did Pyramid respond to every question I had, the company never attempted to upsell or pressure me into buying anything. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received every step of the way, and the counter tops look amazing. They were installed by a very professional team who cleaned up after themselves, were very careful to not damage the cabinets or floors, and were very precise in cutting the stone.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ON QUALITY WORK. They gave me an excellent price on the granite and they had a big selection to choose from. I had 2 counters installed. The counter with the sink cut-out was 3/4" too short on one side. I called the company and they quickly apologized without any argument. They said they'd recut a slab and install it the next morning. Because the error had impacted my plumber (he had come to install the disposal, faucet, and dishwasher), they paid one of their own plumbers to install my sink and disposal for free. I would have given them a perfect rating for their prices and quality work alone, but their excellent customer service really impressed me. I highly recommend this company.

It was great from start to finish. They were very responsive and courteous. They gave me a very competitive quote. It met or was better than all other contractors I called. They did a great job installing. The installers were very professional.

From start to finish, Pyramid Granite did a great job. They were able to give us an estimate based on the dimensions we brought them. Then they came out to our house and did their measurements for a final quote and to use for fabrication. Jorge was very good at answering all our questions and addressing any concerns we had. He also let us come back to the shop and pick the slab of granite we wanted to use. About a week after the measurements were completed, they did the installation. The installers were very professional and worked quickly. They installed 46sf of granite in an hour. Since we did the demolition of the old countertops ourselves, we hadn't had time to dispose of them yet, and they even disposed of them for us. I've been dealing with a few other contractors on other home improvement projects recently and Pyramid Granite was by far the easiest and most pleasant to deal with. Hassle free and very helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Measurement appt was quick and just 2 weeks later the counter was installed per plan. The installers needed to shim the counter since the cabinets did not offer the level surface they required, but they did a great job caulking the gaps. Over the course to he 2 weeks, we had some difficulty contacting Pyramid and you expect a language barrier when talking to the staff and installers. That said, they provide a beautiful product with a quality install at a very good price. I would use them again without hesitation. ---- Update - after further inspection, I found some scratches in the surface (possibly from not securing it while in transit). After I called, Pyramid picked the piece up to try to repair it back at the shop. Just two days later, I had an entirely new piece in its place. Great service after the sale!

The experience was fine overall. They called me back and asked for a couple of pictures. I sent the pictures, and they gave me an estimate to get the job done. The price was a little more than expected, but the job itself turned out to be more than expected, too. I didn't have any problems! I would definitely give them a call back.

We decided to replace our kitchen countertops and checked Angie's List for recommendations. Pyramid came highly rated and now we know why. The craftsmanship is superb, no little flaws, no damage to our walls, everything looks great. They said they would be here at 10:00, they showed up at 9:58. The installers were done in just over two hours, cleaning up superbly after themselves. The plumber showed up around noon to install the faucet and new garbage disposal and was done in an hour, replumbing everything under the sink because of the lousy work done by the original builder.

I found Pyramid Granite on Angie's list and called to set up an appointment, thinking it would take a week to get measurements, then pick out the granite, then wait for installation. The measurements were scheduled for the next day! I went to pick out the granite and was able to use remnants for most of my projects, including an 8-foot long vanity! The installation was scheduled for just one week from the day I picked out the slabs. We also purchased under-mount sinks, which were already attached to the granite when they delivered them. I chose to purchase my own faucets, but Planet Granite included installation in my invoice, using their own plumber! Delivery was delayed because the first appointment of the day took very long (I was their second appointment). They did call me to be sure it was okay that they come later. They showed up at about 4:40pm and stayed until the job was complete! The plumber didn't leave my house until 8:30pm because they knew I had a time constraint. There was one sink that was installed incorrectly, but they came back the next week and fixed everything. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. They guys went above and beyond to get the job done and help me out. I am incredibly grateful and my bathrooms now look gorgeous!!

We went to Pyramid based upon their great reviews on Angie's List. We were not disappointed. We went on a Saturday, they were in our house measuring the kitchen the next Monday and back the next Saturday installing the countertop. Eight days and we didn't ask for any kind of a rush on the job. The price was great. We got a nicer looking granite with upgraded edges and a undermount sink for less then Home Depot quoted for the cheapest granite, basic edges and a top mounted sink. The quality of the install was good. They were at the house on time and completed the work in 3 hours. They layed down floor covering in the kitchen to protect our new floors. There was no damage to anything else in the kitchen and they left the area very clean upon departure. In all we were very happy with all aspects of their service. We would recommend them to anyone.

Everything was excellent. Their pricing is very competitive. I do not remember girl's name who dealt with me, but she was very nice. They have very good customer service. They are efficient and punctual.

Then they were very professional and responsive in working around the prime contractor and his subs. The project was a challenge but Pyramid was always flexible and responsive and this helped to mitigate scheduling issues with the other subs on the project. I highly recommend them
