I wanted all the windows cleaned in my house. First it was really easy to get an estimate. They sent me instructions on how to count my windows, and then I sent them the total count by email. The same day I got a response with an estimate. (At the same time I had inquired like 3 other places by email and none responded). Once I got the email, I scheduled the day of the cleaning for the next week. The men that came were very professional. They were thorough and really cleaned all my windows really well.

This company was great to work with. The office lady scheduled us promptly, and the tech arrived on time and was very courteous. He was efficient, answered my questions, asked for the scope of work to be done and began promptly. I was so impressed with the job, my husband asked if he would do our front gutters (we have brick front so no need for power washing here). The additional cost was very reasonable ( I even negotiated a bit).

They were good. Their minimum to come out is $110. They were professional.

They arrived on time, the work was extremely high quality, and the estimate was the price charged. We have used them more than once and they always act in a professional manner and make the experience very pleasant.

I worked with Teri from Old Dominion to get the pricing info and scheduling - and while I'd heard great things - I still have to admit how THRILLED I am with the great job Old Dominion did with the window cleaning. The individual arrived at the scheduled time and got right to work and he was efficient. I hardly heard him at all - not the usual noise associated with having contractors work in the house! He brought in his supplies and very task oriented went room to room cleaning all the windows from the inside first; and then he went outside to clean everything. I will now get the windows cleaned at least twice/year - having windows cleaned inside and out - it makes the rooms so much brighter.

They were very good. They were very courteous and very thorough. They scraped a lot of old caulking off of the windows. I feel like I got my money's worth. Bernard and Willy were really good.

From first contact with Teri to the team that worked at my house - top notch. Teri was so easy to work with, responsive to all emails and provided quotes very quickly. I made the mistake of not getting the names of the work crew that came to my house - nonetheless, they did a fantastic job - showed up with all equipment, booties to wear in the house and the clear know-how on how to tackle a daunting job. They worked in tandem and accomplished the job in about 3.5 hours - something that would have taken me more than a weekend to complete. They even did the garage windows even though I forgot to ask. At the end of the job, they walked through, showed me some storm windows that had permanent staining and finished out the job making sure I was satisfied. I plan to use Old Dominion for this and other services in the future. Really impressed with the whole operation - from front office to crews.

Having just learned we were transferred and needing to quickly prepare our home to be put on the market, I went right to Angie's List for help in choosing the various vendors to help me. I was in a crunch and only had a period of 5 days to get my windows cleaned. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating but Terri stepped up to the challenge and somehow managed to get me on the schedule. The crew arrived on time and worked diligently until every window sparkled. In addition, they cleaned the windows on my garage door and my foyer light fixture. Having told Terri in advance everything I needed done really helped the process move along smoothly. In my observation, the only things that could be improved upon are better protection of floors and rugs from dripping cleaning solution, and for the crew to be aware that when they smoke their clothes carry the smoke odor. All in all, I would highly recommend this company. By the way, we had glowing comments on the cleanliness of our home and had 2 contracts in 6 days - thank you Old Dominion.

This was easy from start to finish. Setting up appointment was simple, they showed up on time, and finished promptly.

Scheduling was approximately 2 weeks in advance. On the day of service, it was raining. When I called them to verify my appointment, they told me they couldn't come because of the weather and rescheduled my appointment for a few days later. However, within 10 minutes, they called back and said they had an employee who didn't mind working in the rain and he would be at my house within 45 minutes. George showed up right on time, worked efficiently and did a great job.

Scheduling my service was easy and uneventful. Teri and Mike were both courteous and professional. The two-person crew arrived on time and completed the job in about 3 hours. Pedro advised that they would first remove all of the screens and wipe them, the start on the upper level and work their way down to the basement. Due to the height and the rather windy morning, they did not use the ladder for the upper level (s), cleaning both inside and outside by leaning out of the windows. They did use the ladder for two higher level window that do not open. The team did a fantatic job cleaning the windows and doors, and Pedro even advised me of 2 windows that have lost their seals and will need to be replaced. This is my first time having my windows professionally cleaned (approx 17 years) and I can definitely 'see what I've been missing.' The final price was lower than the other estimates I had received and within the quoted estimate. I would gladly use Old Dominion in the future.

They arrived early and completed the cleaning quickly. The gutters weren't that dirty. They did a good job!

Power washed in the morning during light rain and cleaned the inside windows. By the time this work had completed, the rain had let up and allowed the cleaning of the outside windows. I really appreciated the companies willingness to try to get the work done during iffy weather. Took ahile to get a quote a first. Appearently my messages where overlooked. This is an area the company could improve but overall this was a great experience.

Great job in every way -- the woman whom I spoke with on the phone was courteous and professional, as was the window-cleaning crew. They were prompt, knew what they were doing, and went out of their way to do a thorough job.

The crew did an outstanding job. They spent some four hours and were very thorough, professional and courteous. The crew leader told me that he is the son of the owner. He is a very impressive young man who takes his business seriously. We unreservedly recommend this company.

They showed up exactly on time, did exactly what we wanted, and charged us exactly what they estimated. Good work done promptly at a good price. Use them!

They did a stupendous job. My windows had not been cleaned for 10 years. For a slightly extra charge, they cleaned the area between the window and the screens, the chandelier in my foyer, and outside lights. It was well worth it.

Excellent job and fairly priced. Every aspect of the experience, from first call to the service, was first class.

It went well overall. I contacted the company, gave estimates about square footage to be power washed, and numbers of windows, French doors, storm doors to be hand washed. I was asked about any unusual sized or shaped windows, storm windows, what type of window (sash or crank type). After describing what I needed done, I was called later with an estimate and scheduling date. The response was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The work was performed by single handedly by George who worked from 8:30 a.m. to about 3:30 pm. The weather was intermittently rainy but he cheerfully completed all the tasks. I was little surprised there wasn't a team working together to accomplish the tasks but remembered that my job was rescheduled since many employees had to work late into the night that day. In any case, George did a terrific job and was very grateful that I had helped him by moving furniture out of his way on the patios and removing screens , curtains, and objects on window sills before he began work. The brick and flagstone look great and windows are perfectly clear.

I got an estimate over the phone, and set a date for the cleaning. Charlie showed up on time and did an outstanding job. I will definitely use them again.

The work was perfromed while I was at work. When I came home I had a wonderfully clean deck -- it looked like new. However, the deck surfaces were seriously 'torn-up. What was previously a 'smooth' finish -- deck floor, deck railings, deck spindles, turned into a totally rough finish -- because it was torn up so much. My assumption is that the power washing setting was set too high. To make the deck right would have required it be totally sanded. Actually, to try to fix it, I did sand a small section of the railing -- but to take on theentire deck myself would have been waaay too much. I didn't complain about this in May -- which I should have -- but in a sense I thought maybe that once the deck was used enough (walked on etc) the roughness would smooth out. It hasn't!! Today, when I walk barefooted on the deck flooring is rough and splinter prone, when resting my arms on the railing ledge -- it is rough and uncomfortable. In July I had a large party and used the deck -- many of my guests commented on the 'unfinished' nature of the deck surfaces -- the roughness etc . This issue became even more prevalent and bothersome today as a result of Hurrican Irene and my efforts to sweep the deck clean -- because of the roughness of the surfaces, the leaves are sticking to them and I'm unable to sweep them off but rather need to hand pick many of the leaves off the floor and railing. while the deck was as aesthetically pleasing before the power washing, the finish was good. And, one more issue related to the Company's 'description/offerings' on the Angies List page. On AngiesList page, under Disounts: it indicates that they offer a 10% discount to seniors. However, they did not honor this offer -- their response when asked about the 10% senior discount was as follows: "Normally, we do honor the 10% senior discount; however not on a minimum charge as your deck has fallen into. Should your job increase in size and the cost exceed the $150 minimum, we will be happy to honor that discount for you. " If there is a minimum charge -- that should be noted. On a positive note, the woman that I dealt with ton the phone o schedule the power washing appointment was extremely pleasant and very nice to work with. All in all -- I ended up with a nice clean deck, but not as serviceable as it was before due to the rough finish. And the company did not honor thier 'advertised commitment' to seniors.

I contacted the office via e-mail on 7/5/11 and provided a list of the services I required. Teri Thompson responded the next day and requested pictures of the exterior of the house, which I provided. Teri quickly provided a quote via e-mail along with their current scheduling. I scheduled the work. The crew arrived on time. The Supervisor, Steve, reviewed the work to be performed with me and advised how they were going to proceed. They did a great job!! All work was done as requested. Everyone was very polite and professional. I will definitely request their services again. The price is fair and they are a pleasure to work with.

Excellent. The estimate had been done via e-mail using my window count. Teri in the office was efficient in getting the estimate back to us, and the total cost at the end of the job matched the estimate. George, the window washer, did more than we'd asked for at no extra charge. He discovered our dirty A/C unit around the corner from the side he'd pressure washed and proceeded to clean it and the adjoining wall too. Although we'd planned not to wash screens he found a couple that needed hosing off and did that. We're pleased with painless estimate process and the equally pleasant delivery of the service.
