We have a maintenance contract with them. It works well for us. I called them and they set it up. They charge for the contract or are on call. They charge for other things if something unusual needs to be done. They are always reasonable in terms of providing whatever service they need to do. They're not perfect, but they are very good. The pricing seems fair to me. If we have a problem, they come promptly. Their professionalism is good.

They backed us even when the heating and air conditioning manufacturer would not.

We've had a service contract with NVAC for years and have always felt like they do good work. In this particular case, I was pleased because we had what was apparently a very rare electrical issue concerning the way the thermostat and the furnace talked to each other. The AC was completely dead, we thought we were looking at a complete system replacement, and we were bracing ourselves for a bill in the neighborhood of $8000. However, both the tech and the owner had a weird feeling about the diagnosis, and sent another person out to investigate. It took hours of step-by-step troubleshooting before they discovered the electrical issue (which apparently is extraordinarily rare), which was solved simply by a thermostat replacement. I'm impressed that NVAC (and in particular George in the home office) was so willing to go deep into diagnostics rather than just leave me with a big bill. Props to them for being a standup vendor and do the right thing.

I had the misfortune of having to replace my air handler and hot water heater (incorrect model installed by another company that was not compatible with a Aquatherm system). I also figured my AC unit should be replaced as it was over 20 years old and on borrowed time. I had 4 estimates from reputable companies (NOVA air was recommended to me by a neighbor). Paul the estimator was very knowledgeable and courteous. He seemed eager to offer the solution best for my situation. Paul and the owner George were considerate of my concerns and provided a package for me that I was comfortable with price and feature wise. The install occurred less than a week after I signed the contract. The crew was punctual, professional, courteous and their craftsmanship was superior! The crew came at 7am and left at around 8:30pm due to the complexity of my set up. They worked very hard during this time in order to make sure everything was installed and working properly. The crew only left when my questions were answered. Job well done NOVA air! I look forward to future maintenance visits and can't thank you enough for a job well done!

We've used them for years and I've always been pleased with their service. They've always been very good in coming out, checking our units and making adjustments so it's working. They are always very polite, they seemed to know what they were doing. They are careful and when they come in they put their little booties on so they are clean. They do their thing, explain what they know, how the system operate or if anything needs adjusting. It's a fair price. When you call them they always get back to you. They also call before they come.

They were really great guys. They went above and beyond. The product that I was looking for was a small wall furnace, not a whole house furnace, used to heat my basement only. I had called several companies, including ones I had dealt with in the past, and no one wanted to give me any ideas on how to replace it. The unit that was bad was close to 50 years old and was obsolete. They sent a person out to take a look at it, and he had mentioned that he had not seen many of those types of units, but had done one previously in the year. I gave him a picture of the unit that I had gotten off of the internet. He said he would take it back and give it to his boss. A few days later, the owner called me and said he had found a couple of furnaces, and told me which one he liked over all of the others, a Williams furnace, and he explained thoroughly the dimensions, product, and its capabilities. 8-10 days later, it had come in the in the time window he had promised. They installed the new one and removed the old one.

Over the past 20 years we have depended on Northern Virginia Air Conditioning Inc to support our air-conditioning and heating equipment. The service has provided us with confidence that the systems will work well through the seasons. We have found the technicians to be on-site when sheduled, very courteous and efficient. The technicians test the equipment, provide necessary service and point out any issues to be addressed at that time or in the future. We haven't hesitated to refer friends and family to the company and will continue to do so in the future.

Had a new heat pump and water heater installed in 2 days from signing contract. Received estimate from other companies, they were in the middle. On the day of install, I first received a call that morning that they could not do the job, as they needed duct work made. Next appointment was 1 1/2 weeks later on a weekend, as I had already taken the whole day off, and its been so hot; after talking to install manager at length, he got a crew out that morning. Once they were there, the crew of three was very professional: wore shoe booties, put covers down on all floor and carpet they trekked over. This was a good sized job, with some new duct work and moving heat pump and water heater a few feet plus new registers, and they were done in about 10 hrs. The lead tech stayed to show me how to program the new thermostat, and trying to troubleshoot an odd whistling sound on my first floor. That does not seem related to install, as it did this before. Their install price includes one year service contract, which not all the competitors do.
