I would highly recommend Metro Home Improvement LLC for many reasons. They took care of a bathroom renovation for us and upgrading it into a showplace! The crew were professional and sharp on every detail. Carlos and his team are true professionals. Always on time, extremely detailed oriented and great suggestions made it a stress free. Carlos is the only person I'll call in the future. I highly recommend them for any home projects!

Did not show up for site visit; failed to respond to my voicemail requesting another appointment.

Needed a contractor to assist me with a project for a client. It was short notice but Carlos and Carl came out and did an amazing job installing electrical out lets, mounting a flat screen, painting and ceiling fan installation. They came in and knock it out with excellence! I had to call him back to help me mount curtain rods and once again he made time to swing by to assist me. Carlos and his staff are simply amazing and they definitely made me look like a pro :). Needless to say he is definitely my go to guy for ALL my remodeling needs. Not to mention my clients also loved them and the workmanship they provided. MetroHI engaged us throughout the process - from first contact to the inspection, informing us of the work and the estimate, to the multi-day work. The rails look to last, the roof looks good, and the gutters look new. Cleanup was good and they did not disturb us or the neighborhood during their work. We have additional outside work we expect they will again deliver on. The crews were professional, thorough, and friendly.

We hired MHI for miscellaneous kitchen work. Carlos and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Great communication and stayed on schedule. There were a few items that needed tweaks after the job was completed and Carlos came right out to make sure everything worked correctly. We were happy with the finished work and would hire again.

Crews arrived early, worked hard and did a great job.

It went well. A full crew of roofers came out and were able to both remove the previous roof shingles and install the new ones all on the same day. Then Carlos with an assistant or two followed up the roofers and replaced the entire gutter system, as well as providing screens for the gutters. All the work was performed in a timely manner, and all the debris from the roof and gutter replacement was gathered and removed. The new roof and gutters look great! We will continue to call on Metro Home Improvement services for our home maintenance and improvement needs.

Carlis and his crew are my go to! Owning a home built in 1955 means that repairs usually turn into projects. Metro Home Improvement has done a fabulous job remodeling my kitchen after a pipe burst, replacing my roof after significant hail damage and replacing my bathroom future after a leaky. Carlos is a true professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to budget! You will not regret using Metro Home Improvement for any job...big or small!

Carlos and his team were amazing. They showed up on time, did a great job repairing the drywall, painted the walls with the paint we had bought, and even repainted the white ceiling (which wasn't in the original request) because they wanted it to look better. My wife and I were thrilled with the work, as the room looked better than when we bought the house. We're even considering a new project in the basement, just because now we know we have someone we can count on for the work. Absolutely recommend them; great team, quickly understood what we asked for, and then went beyond our expectations.

An awesome and intergrous guy! I asked for help with my fridge. He gave me advice to fix it with tour him coming out or charging me. He also gave me some great tips that are cost effective to me. Will definitely be my go-to.

Carlos and his crew member arrived at our home fully prepared and equipped for working under COVID-19 alerts and conditions, both wearing gloves and face masks. They further made every attempt to minimize any close contact with myself and other family members, e.g., they came in and exited the house through the basement sliding door as much as possible. All the work itself was performed and completed in their usual timely and competent manner. The new bathroom floor looks great! We certainly plan to continue relying on Carlos for our handyman and home-improvement needs, including a major upgrade of our kitchen, when community circumstances warrant.

I received several quotes to repair a crack in my brick retaining wall. I chose George Vassie and Metro Home Improvements to do the work. Things seemed fine at first, but then they kind of sputtered. I met with George's worker in early November, who explained that it was hard to find bricks that matched. I reached out to George on December 7, and he informed me the work would be done the next morning. I asked for confirmation that the worker I had met with would be doing the work, but I did not hear back from George. I was not home when the worker came to do the work that. George did not contact me at any point, other than to let me know it was done and find out when he could come by to get paid. When I got home, I saw that the work that had been done was very ugly and unacceptable. George came over and we discussed. At that time, he acknowledged that the worker (who was NOT the person I had met with) had raised concerns about how the work was going to turn out. George said he told his worker, "The homeowner wants the work done, so just do it." He never reached out to me to discuss the concerns or get my consent. I told George it needed to be fixed, and we discussed various options. He then said he would reach out to his worker to figure out a good way forward, and would let me know what they decided. He asked if I could pay part (2/3) of the amount we had agreed on. I trusted he was going to return to fix the problem so -- my mistake -- I gave him a check for that amount. Since then, I tried to reach him by telephone, by text, and by email, and he has never responded. It is clear he will not be returning to fix the mess he made. I very, very strongly urge people not to use Metro Home Improvements or George Vassie.
