Worst company I have ever dealt with in any country for any reason, period. Sales person assured we had one type of floor which was incorrect, coercive methods used to get releases signed, and after the fact, when complaints/concerns were expressed (namely, my 3/4in solid hardwood floor replaced with 1/2in engineered hardwood floor and ensuing gaps/issues) the blame was placed on us for "allowing the work to continue" and a litany of solutions were presented, none of which were presented at the time of the work. When the call escalated to the possibility of having legal actions taken, the sales manager Miguel laughed, and said "a lot of people threaten us, we're a big company with a lot of lawyers". After previous escalations, I can say for a fact that every member of the sales team and customer support apparatus there consistently talks over, raises their voice, demeans, or otherwise tries to bully the customer. The lone exception here is the poor guy who actually did the work, Freddy, that guy got a big tip and did a fantastic job with what he was given. The rest of this company however, is acerbic, outright lies, refuses to own up to any mistakes (like the 1 day job we were promised becoming a 6 day job), obfuscate the truth (the day before work was to begin we were told we might not be the first stop for the installers, which was not even discussed as a possibility, they didn't arrive until 4:30pm on the contracted day), and are generally dismissive and combative, placing all blame on the customer with a "well you should have known better/should not have signed then/should have known these other solutions you could have asked for". Its telling to me that they are so often threatened with legal action that the sales manager, Miguel, laughed about it and had to flex about his army of lawyers - I guess they get a lot of unhappy customers outside of the reviews they bought (obviously bot reviews if you read them on google). AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I picked this company because they had high reviews, so needed to comment. This is 2 stars instead of 1 star is because of Ceasar. He was polite, on time and installed our carpet nicely. Everyone else in the company was difficult and couldn't produce what was promised. The installers for our hard surface floors did not show up the first day. Although we were told it was a small job so they could finish by 8pm if I let them come at 6pm. We were promised they would arrive at 8 am the next day. They showed up at 1pm. They walked around the house and told us all the things they couldn't do. The floor in the bathroom couldn't be removed because of the vanity. The pantry was an issue because of the shelving unit. Our "small" job would take at least 2 days. When I explained to them what was promised, they said it isn't their fault- it is the companies fault. They had the company shirts on, so weren't they part of the company? No, it is other people's fault. Finally we told them to leave. No floors done. There were so many inconsistencies, I can't fit them all here.

Metro Floors and remodelers replaced carpet on a large townhome. While there some mix up of scheduling in the beginning, Frank handled the remaining process very professionally. The price quote was very competitive. The team arrived on the scheduled time and completed on the agreed timeline. The workmanship was excellent. The follow up process on invoicing and close up was timely. Will use their services again and highly recommended.

I used Metro Floors and Remodelers twice this summer for my rental properties, once to install a granite countertop and the second time to install carpeting throughout a three-level townhouse. Both times Frank and Reza were professional, experienced, pleasant, reliable, and honest. Both the countertop and the carpet turned out beautiful and I couldn't have been happier. One of the many nice things about their business is that they can accommodate you quickly. I made a decision about the carpet and they were able to install within a few days. What I really appreciated about Frank was his honesty when I was contemplating replacing a corian countertop with granite in a rental property. He talked me out of it by letting me know that it wasn't necessary. I was pleasantly surprised by his candor and honesty. He saved me money when he could have easily tried to convince me otherwise. I can count on both Frank and Reza to be responsive and to deliver, and I will definitely use them again.

OUTSTANDING! Finished on time and on budget. Frank did an amazing job helping us design the perfect custom kitchen and incorporated all of our desires. Started and finished right when they said they would.

The meeting with Frank went well. He was very helpful. His floor guys were punctual and did an adequate job. The floors look great however there was some drips of stain on the stairs. The repairs that were done on the floors looked great. I could not tell that any repairs were done they matched the rest of the floor so well. The countertop looks great. However the company that was subcontracted to do the installation was extremely late which was extremely inconvenient as this was for a rental unite that I had to travel to, to meet the installers. For the inconvenience Frank credited me $100.00 on the job. While I appreciated working with Frank his partner was not as helpful.

Frank and Reza were excellent to work with. Very responsive, quick to add or correct something as needed. Pricing was very fair and my client was happy. The only "C" grade area would be the painting but the price was very reasonable for it. I will call them the next time I need services that they provide.

Reza and Frank at Metro Design have been a pleasure to do business with! From flooring to countertops to walls, their work is consistently high quality. They are thorough with details, including with clean up. They always found solutions when the quirks of an old house presented challenges. Over the course of several weeks and many different projects at my house, there were only a couple of times that some small thing was overlooked, and they were quick to come and correct it. When a different contractor did a subpar job right before a critical deadline, I made an emergency call to Metro Design and they bailed me out the next day. Everything looks great now. Moral of the story: stick with Metro Design and you will be satisfied!

Fantastic. Frank and Barry enhanced the original design with effective closet and lighting placement. They insulated it so that it is no longer a cold and clammy. The work was done efficiently and within budget. Barry was on-site every day to keep me informed of the progress and to check on craftsmanship. Barry and Frank are incredibly talented and sincere. They will be in charge of all future renovation projects that we have on our home. We highly recommend Metro. This renovation was more challenging for the team since we were living in this house while the basement was being renovated, so they had to "work around" the fact that we were here too - they accomplished this with courtesy and professionalism. I felt very comfortable with the teams working on our house. We are extremely happy with the finished product.

This renovation project was phenomenal. The craftsmanship, quality, attention to detail, special attention to detail, attentiveness is fantastic. People have told me that a whole house renovation (while we were still living in the house) would be the worst experience ever. Those people obviously didn’t work with Barry and Frank of Metro Design Remodelers. I can honestly say that this extensive renovation was painless – I’d go so far as to call it fun. The toughest part was moving all of our stuff around and out of their way (but this is mutually exclusive to any work that they do). The results make the mild inconveniences related to a "renovation in place" completely worth it. Frank was incredibly patient with us during the planning phase and advised us with colors, cabinet choices, and flooring. Barry managed the construction activities daily, and kept us well-informed over every aspect of the renovation (kitchen plus three bathrooms). He planned it so that we could all live comfortably in other areas of the home while he and his team focused the major construction work on a specific area. He and his brother Barry were instrumental in choosing the designs, colors, fixtures, etc. for everything. The kitchen is spectacular – the details incredible, the quality is top-notch, and the construction work was impeccable. The master bathroom design (which included turning a tub into a double-shower and modifying the floorplan) is beautiful and practical. I felt extremely comfortable with the construction teams – they were polite and professional. Reza was extremely helpful with administrative matters. Pricing was extremely reasonable compared to other quotes we received. The results far exceed the price. As another client of Metro’s told me when I was examining their renovation work, “Barry and Frank are like family.” After this renovation, I completely agree 100%. We enjoyed every aspect of our renovation, and highly recommend Metro Design Remodelers. They make construction/renovation a joy.

During some major remodeling work of our house, which originally had been a basic remodel, (i.e, “fix it so we can sell our house”), we decided to enhance the quality of our original selections (we are thinking staying rather than selling) and designs. We made many other special requests and upgrades to our original plans. Barry and Frank were extremely flexible and always willing to alter the original specs to accommodate our changes. They put customer service and quality 1st. I have extreme trust in both of them and in what they recommend based on our needs, the style and design of our house, etc.

I am grateful to Barry with his consultation on color selection. The work performed by Metro's painting teams was meticulous, the painters were professional and polite. They kept their work area neat and were respectful to me and my family. I felt very comfortable with all of the painting professionals in our home, and highly recommend Metro’s work.

We worked with Jay who did extensive electrical work on our home which involved a lot of new wiring, new fixtures, etc. Jay was always professional, incredibly hard-working and pleasant. His electrical work was incredible. We are grateful that he was able to improve our lighting situation.

Frank helped us select the new hardwood floors for our family room. The situation was a bit tricky because there is no subfloor in our family room (just a concrete slab). The installation went smoothly, the team was courteous, hard-working and efficient. The floor looks beautiful and we are pleased with this project.

Frank and Barry designed the upgrades to our lighting situation, including placement of recessed lighting, new fixtures, kitchen accent lighting, dimmers, etc. The hands on electrical work was performed by Jay, who is fantastic. The designs and professionalism and Jay’s electrical expertise resulted in an incredible finished product. We will definitely use Metro for all of our future lighting needs.

Metro is 2nd to none! I explained to Frank and Barry that I am not comfortable picking out ceramic tile (I am indecisive and do not have the expertise). Frank and Barry’s consultation was invaluable. They chose some incredible patterns and colors for our master bathroom and kitchen. The site preparation and craftsmanship that went into the installation was perfect. I have deep respect for Metro’s management and their construction teams.

Mr. Ti Ti and his team did excellent work with installing our new water heater, and along with Barry, provided excellent advice on our current plumbing setup, and helped us to upgrade and improve our aging plumbing as needed. Mr. Ti Ti and the rest of his team are fantastic and incredibly hard-working. We highly recommend them.

Frank is always responsive to our questions and needs. His flooring advice is always spot-on. The installers were courteous and meticulous. We love our ceramic and vinyl flooring, and we love Metro.

Frank was extremely helpful with the carpet selection. Installation went smoothly. It was not an easy installation because we had a lot of heavy furniture and household items to work around, but Metro took care of everything. I love the carpet choice and quality, and appreciate Frank’s guidance during this process. Follow-up assistance is great – when we developed a main water line leak in the basement (unrelated to renovation work) a few months later, Frank sent a team to lift the carpet and remove the padding. The same team returned to replace the padding. I am extremely pleased with the quality and resiliency of this carpet that Frank recommended (it survived saturation during the water line leak without molding or disintegrating). In the future, I will only do business with Metro Design Remodelers. They are fantastic!

Frank, Barry and Binh all provided excellent consultation and selection advice with regard to the granite countertops installed by Metro. Our countertops are beautiful and of high quality. Installation went smoothly. I love Metro and recommend them to everyone.

This company was fantastic. They were kind , courteous, and professional. The best part of the experience was that they kept to the timeline, even with the little extra's I threw in. I do pay attention to detail and am somewhat meticulous. Frank did everything I asked for and more. He did go that extra mile to make sure I was happy. He even presented some ideas and suggestions I hadn't thought of . I highly recommend Metro Design Remodelers.

I contacted Frank to get an estimate for my counter tops, backsplash and hardwood floors in my family room. He was straight forward, honest and very informative. I decided to go with them and I am very happy I did. The hardwood floors are fantastic and the workmanship is obvious. The backsplash looks amazing and I actually ended up going with his recommendation over our first choice and I am glad I did. There was a hiccup with the granite during installation but they handled it very well. Brought in a new piece and it now looks perfect. I would recommend them to anyone. if you are looking to get great service, for a good price and deal with honest people, this is the place to shop at. Thank you!

We purchased our new home knowing that we needed to update the kitchen and bath. We could not be more pleased with the work done by Metro Design Remodelers!!!!! From start to finish they were great. We had an idea of what we wanted and Frank gave us some ideas that made the whole design even better then we imagined! They were very professional, knowledgeable and most importantly very reasonable with their price! We will be using them in the future for some more home remodeling!

Our new kitchen looks amazing! Bathrooms look brand new, and their entire work and quality were great. They are extremely professional and work with you in every step of the way. Frank provided us with the design, detail timeline, and cost that matched our budget and requirement. They started and finished the work per schedule with multiple inspection to make sure we are happy. I will work with them again for my other properties.
