Mega Plumbing Chantilly, Va. (Brian & Pedro) did a great job installing my new dishwasher. They quickly and carefully removed the old dishwasher and quickly and carefully installed and tested the new dishwasher. They made sure everything was done properly and the unit was level and operating correctly. They instructed us on the operation of the new dishwasher. They were very professional, protected the work area and kept it clean. They hauled away the packing material and the old dishwasher. I would recommend them.

Bought a gas stove from my local Lowe's. They contract with Mega Plumbing to delivery and installing. Upon taking out my old stove, the representative from Mega Plumbing told me I was missing an emergency shut off valve and that it's required. They would not be able to install the stove without it and I would have to reschedule. Then he said he might have one in the van we could use. He said he needed to call Lowes about it. As he was on his call, I googled the valve at the local Lowe's and see most cost less than $20. He gets off the phone. I tell him to go ahead. Later, I get a call from Mega Plumbing to get my payment info for the part. This morning, I got an email with a receipt from Mega Plumbing for $145 for the valve. $145 for a $20 part! I sent a reply email immediately questioning the cost but haven't heard back. What a racket and a scam! I am in contact with Lowe's as well. I assumed I should be able to trust a company they use and support. Am looking into this further. Do not trust this company.

I purchased a dishwasher and the labor for installation from Lowe's. The work was to be done by mega plumbing. The man came today to install the dishwasher, one under the crawl space and came back immediately and said he forgot that he had to collect extra money for me for a valve and he called his manager. I asked him if he located the pipe which was the reason for going into the crawl he said no and did not want to go back under the crawl space to take the time. He refused to call Lowe's to allow me to pay the extra money for the valve needed. I called Lowe's myself and the salesman, earnest, said it would take less than 5 minutes. The Mega man the whole while said he did not have time he had to leave the dishwasher and go that he had too many people and Earnest the salesman who I had on speakerphone explain to him that I'm a customer and I needed to have the work done. Well the salesman at lowe's, Ernest, was processing the purchase of the valve which I was going to do over the phone the man got the dishwasher in the house and left the dishwasher was never installed. I called this company and ask to speak to a manager who had absolutely no concern and stated that I needed a valve and she didn't want to argue with me despite my explaining the circumstances. I also had to insist that this man go back under the crawl space and find the pipe when he went to look he came back out and said he couldn't find it and he didn't want to go back and look and I insisted that he go back and look and then the whole while I tapped the floor for him to be able to find the pipe. This is a circus and I would never recommend this company I do recommend that you run , RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! Lowes will refund the labor portion since the work was not done. I'll hire a reliable plumber myself.

The Chinese guy did not understand English, would not reply to my questions or concerns rather put the question back to me! He fixed the drain into sump pump in spite of I was telling not to do that. This is going to destroy my sump pump and my basement may get flooded! When I called the company the lady, named snow was indifferent, told the manger named Peter will call me but he never called, the second time was telling me that he is not available, was lying, I could hear him talking. The job was not properly done, it should have been draining to 2 feet away bathroom sewer Ruffin drain going out. She is telling me now this is not the pet of contract and asking for extra 440$ to just extend the 1/2 in rubber drain to sewer line. This is a rip off. I paid 660$ to Lowe’s for labor and installation to complete this job. Do not hire this company, they are ripping off customers, doing wrong job the first time and demanding extra many for correcting their mistakes.

Plumber replaced Garbage Disposal. Turned on Dishwasher and water came out under the sink like a fire hose. I wasn't home & my wife didn't notice right away until it spilled onto the floor. When I came home I looked under the sink & started the dishwasher. A lot of water started gushing out, immediately shut dishwasher off & water stopped. I cleaned up all the water but first had to clear out everything under the sink as it was soaked. Once that was done I looked to see what problem was. I saw the plumber had not connected the dishwasher drain hose to the garbage disposal, a clamp was down at bottom of hose. I put this on the hose where it connected to the disposal and tightened it. I then started the disposal and no more water gushing out. I would not hire this co. again as if a plumber can't finish a simple job like this properly how are they going to be able to do a more complicated job correctly.

I had a dishwasher replaced that I ordered from Lowes. Mega Plumbing was great - they scheduled promptly, arrived on time, let me know of issues regarding the install, and helped me find solutions with no additional cost. Couldn't have been happier.

I purchased a garbage disposal and dishwasher from Lowe's and was awaiting installation of both. Lowe's scheduled me for the garbage disposal, but had not yet scheduled me for the dishwasher installation. When Alan arrived (earlier than the proposed long window and to my gratitude), in discussing the garbage disposal, I mentioned I was waiting on the dishwasher installation. Alan called Lowe's and coordinated the dishwasher installation for me as well. He was early, knowledgeable and efficient. He was very professional, left no traces of him being there other than two great, efficient installations. I highly recommend this company. I most definitely will use this company again for any future plumbing or plumbing related installations.

Mega Plumbing was the company that Lowes selected for my dishwasher install (all products/services purchased through Lowes). I didn't know about this company before but the plumber that came to do the work was excellent. He was quick, clean, and did a good job installing my new dishwasher. I'll consider Mega Plumbing in the future for other work..

I purchased a new dishwasher from Lowes and was assigned Mega Plumbing as an installer. I made the purchase on a Friday afternoon and received a call from Mega to schedule on Saturday morning. They offered an installation date as soon as that Monday. The technician (Alan) arrived on schedule and was fantastic. He did a really nice job of being careful when removing the old dishwasher and installing the new unit. He tested everything thoroughly, explained the operation of this particular dishwasher, and had me verify the positioning before locking everything in. I've had some hit-or-miss experiences with installation services in the past. Not this time: Alan seemed very knowledgable, did a great job, and I would be happy to call on him again for future plumbing needs.

The installers arrived on schedule, they did an excellent job, and clean up after themselves.

We asked them to install a new kitchen faucet and a new range hood. The technician completed both tasks efficiently but did not seem to understand me. While working on the faucet, he noticed that our dishwasher was connected to cold water instead of hot and asked if I wanted to switch it. I said "yes, if that will make our dishwasher work better, let's do it." He said there is an extra cost. I said, "ok, let's do it." He did not seem to understand and said again that he could do it today but it would be an extra cost. I said, "let's switch it." He didn't switch it and wrote down on the work order "recommended to . . . connect DW to hot water with additional price $$$. Customer refused". I didn't refuse. I asked him to do it. This was not a language problem. Technician was a native English speaker. Later, when I checked on the faucet installation, I noticed the hot and cold water were reversed - turning faucet to the left was cold, right was hot. I called the company back and asked them to come and fix it. The person I spoke to on the phone said, no problem, they'd send someone the next day at no charge. The next day, I was at work but my wife was home. Apparently the same technician came out. My wife explained that there might have been a misunderstanding, that I wanted the the dishwasher switched to hot and maybe he thought I wanted the faucet switched. The technician insisted that "We had a very good understanding." and that I had asked him to switch the hot and cold on the faucet (I did not). He insisted that since he had done "what the customer requested" that he would have to charge us $50 to correct the hot and cold on the faucet. Since my wife was not present for the first meeting, she couldn't argue him out of it and ended up paying the additional $50. I will never use this company again.

I ordered a tankless water heater installation service using Amazon Home Services, which charges a pre-negotiated fee of $960 for a basic tankless water heater installation. The scope of work was supposed to cover a basic install and replacement of any existing (tank or tankless) natural gas water heater with a customer provided tankless water heater. This company came out to inspect my job and the only additional work that was required above the Amazon scope of work was the haul away of my second electric water heater, a very small addition that I expected to pay a small extra fee for, however, the company called me back 2 hours before their scheduled installation to tell me that the Amazon service covers only the replacement of existing tankless heaters and that the replacement of a standard tank water heater would cost $3500 (a $2500 up charge!). I read the scope of work to them directly from my Amazon email receipt and confirmed with Amazon customer service directly by phone that the water heater being replaced could be EITHER tank or tankless but to no avail. Secondly, they tried to make me pay for the service outside of Amazon Home Service, which is strictly forbidden by Amazon as any price adjustments must be made directly through the Amazon portal. This company sounded shady from the minute I spoke with them and they have probably pulled off this bait and switch scam on many desperate customers who didn’t have time to reschedule with another company, luckily I have a second backup water heater and can afford to wait for another installer. Amazon informed me that they will be taking disciplinary action against this vendor for violating their terms of service with the fake upcharge and trying to bypass Amazon. Very reputable companies charge less than $2,000 for the same install, don’t get suckered into using this bait and switch company, they will just lure you in with a low quote and then try to upcharge you for fake additions to the scope of work, too many good plumbers out there, don’t waste your time like they did with me. Caveat Emptor (buyer beware).

Excellent work, prompt, friendly and helpful. Ganbat, the technician was very helpful and professional and price was very reasonable. The new faucet and toilet work great. Will use Mega Plumbing again!
