+ -1 moreWhen Mr. Little delivered the new landscape timbers a day prior to the installation, he assured us he would be at our house in the early a.m. after taking care of some personal business. He actually arrived at 2:30 p.m. He had already dismantled a large portion of the old retainer wall before we were aware of his arrival. That was a bad sign. In a nutshell, his actions over the next couple of days proved amply that he had absolutely no experience in installing a two foot retainer wall. He did not possess the proper tools to do the job. He did not dig a trench nor anchor the timbers with the proper fasteners. Not only that, he was insistent that his was the right way, and ignored our specific requests. He needed constant supervision. The front of our place looked like a junkyard for over two days. Even though we requested he not work in the dark, he attempted to anyway. He would disappear for two hours, hustle our neighbors for work and talked incessantly; we paid him to leave.
Description of Work: Mr. Little agreed that he would replace an existing retainer wall (replace old rotting landscape timbers). He assured us he was well versed in this area as we explained we wanted the new timbers firmly entounced in trenches, level and straight (our house is very visible from a main thoroughfare). He insisted he could provide the service we needed including the separation of the timbers between our place and a neighbor. To make it easier, our neighbor asked Mr. Little to replace their landscape timbers as well. He agreed to all of the aforementioned in addition to completing the job in one (1) day, cleaning up and disposing of the old materials including a guarantee of complete satisfaction. After a little over two days of work (my husband fired him when he showed up on the third day), we had an incredibly inferior product. He did not deliver on any of his promises of timeliness, efficiency, quality and value. He was a huge disappointment. We try to distribute work to everyone.

+ -1 moreThis was an excellent experience. Eddie Little was referred to us by a neighbor. Eddie made numerous trips to our home to ensure we had the border, stepping stones, and other items we wanted used. He and two other people completed all the work in two days.
Description of Work: We own a townhouse with a small front yard. Eddie Little helped us decide what design would work best and completed all the work. That included digging out the poor soil in the yard and taking up the old mulch, removing all shrubs, rolling out the earth so the yard was flatter, putting in stone border (around the yard), mulch, shrubs and flowers.
