Joe responded immediately to our request and did a terrific job matching paint, doing the dry wall repair perfectly and soldering the leaking pipe as well as repairing and re-painting the woodwork covering the initial leak. We'll definately use him again for similar work.

He was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He answered all the questions we had and did great work. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The vibes weren't good. His quote was way too high. He was making a sales pitch rather than an analysis of the work that needed to be done.

We started out loving Joe... We even got good references. My husband accidentally paid twice for the materials....so Joe overcharged 2x $ for the materials ... and I realized it after when doing the accounting... and instead of giving it back, he kept coming up with excuses that he worked for it and it cost that much for the supplies, which I found out was not the case... as I priced them at Lowes. He also neglected to do what he said... as he got a shower curtain rather than a glass door for the shower... and came up with size excuse here. He always had an excuses, but if you're a builder, you can build it to fit. We also ashed him for screen door, and he keep saying he couldn't find the size. Best to make sure he does the work and gives you a HAND WRITTEN quote, and pay him ONLY after its done. We had a quote, but then he keeps adding on costs, so it was hard to keep track of. He will talk a good hour about his work, and does decent work, but just get everything in writing, and be careful of his added on costs!

Joe was prompt, courteous, professional. I did not use his services as they were about twice as high as the second and third bidder, both of whom who were equally as qualified, bonded and insured. That said, he was friendly and responsive.

I called Joe for an estimate on a 1/2 bath remodel and he was out that day. His price was reasonable so I asked when he could do the job and he said the next day! He removed the old fixtures, stripped the wallpaper, repainted the walls, added tiles where the vanity had been, installed the new vanity, toilet, and medicine cabinet. Joe did a terrific job...he was easy to work with, professional, and a perfectionist. I will definitely hire him for my next job.

The work turned out alright. He was only here for a maximum of two hours and charged me 1300.00.

Joe said he would look at it later that day and get back to me with the estimate. He never called me back. I called Joe on 3/30 to ask what happened, and he said he had trouble finding the street. I asked him why he never called me back, and he said something about working from early in the morning to late at night, so he couldn't call. In other words, he was too busy to even call me back. Clearly, he doesn't want my business. If he had called me back to say he was committed to other projects and wouldn't be able to get to me for a while, I would have gone elsewhere but given him a favorable review for professionalism. As it is, he gets an F. Sorry, Joe, you need to make customer service a higher priority.

Joe supervised all that his workers did. He was friendly, helpful and professional;obviously taking pride in his work. He went out of his way to be sure all was done well, including going himself to purchase light fixtures. The finished attic was left clean and ready for carpeting. One concern was that it was obvious that his initial estimate was lower than the job entailed, example: four small doors to crawl spaces need to be removed and trimmed at the bottom so that they would open when the new carpeting installed; also all the baseboards needed to be replaced. I added a bit to the estimate figure and was happy to do so. When i use him again I will keep that in mind.

Called mid-morning to address a loud wining noise that was coming from my attic fan. Visit was made within half-hour of phone call. Attic fan was checked and thermostat was adjusted. Nothing wrong with fan. All was done at no charge. Excellent service and very friendly. Will keep in mind for future work.

Had an emergency; contractor came out and although he could have fixed our problem; he knew we were having work done the next week and he told us his work would be duplicative. He did not charge us for the visit; nor would he even take $20! It is GREAT to find a contractor that has honesty like this! Will use Joe's for other work in the future for sure!!!!

I called telling Joe that we had several small jobs that needed repair and that we would also like to give him a wish list of jobs to be done in the future - i.e. painting (inside) - he came to the house looked at the work to be done, gave us a what we considered a somewhat high estimate - called back to see what we wanted done - told him we would like the porch screen fixed, the caulking done on the bathtub in the hall bath and the weather stripping on both the front and back doors replaced - he had also given an estimate for painting - we told him we decided that we would do the painting in the spring - have not heard back - then end - he did not want to do anything small -

Excellent experience all around from the price to the quality of work to the speed which it got done. I would highly recommend him for your next project!!!

Joe came by as agreed early evening on a Friday and made himself available the next day. He arrived on time and spent most of the day putting together a closet system from Easy Closets. He took 12 boxes of closet pieces and created the closet system, which filled a walk-in closet 54"x54" and did a beautiful job. They were about 7-8' tall and there was a wall opposing the closet entrance, so all work had to be done inside the closet- not easy. Despite the job taking longer than we both thought, he stuck to his quoted price, which I geatly appreciated. Unfortunately, he crossed the professional line by stongly coming on to me, as I am a single woman. Men and married women have no worries, but single women, beware. This was unfortunate, because I needed more work done and had to use someone else.

Never showed up or called to explain why nor to try to reschedule.

He came and we discussed what was needed and he gave ideas and what we needed to do (like we would have to provide stain for new door). Said he would provide estimate within a week, but we never heard from him again.

Great experience with Joe. He came over in the evening on the day that I called, which was very convenient. I had some minor water damange in the bathroom and he took a look at it, told me honestly that it would cost way more for him to fix it and that it was very simple and something I could do on my own. He showed me what the problem was, and what I needed to do to fix it. Then he installed a shower head and showed me what was wrong with the toilet which was nothing more than a hose that had come out of place in the tank. After all this he told me he didn't think he should charge me since he didn't do much. ???? He told me exactly what was wrong with my shower, how to fix it, installed a shower head and fixed the toilet. I'd say that was a lot! So we came to an agreement on cost and off he went. He was pleasant, funny and very helpful. I will definitly call him the next time I need a handyman.

Punctual. Clean. Did very good work, not sloppy.

Joe came out the same day I called and helped me determine the problem of the leak. He said I needed someone else, a roof specialist. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I will call him again to repair inside damage once leak is resolved.

Joe was very responsive and able to start work as soon as I needed him to. He took time to explain what he would do and offered suggestions as well. He performed the work himself with an assistant and all of it was high quality. He made sure all my furniture was covered and did a good clean-up job afterwards. I would definitely hire him again.

I never heard the fan go on but thought it wasn't "hot enough"..until THIS summer. I called in an electrician to see if all was hooked up right (neither of us heard the fan on a day it was in the high 90's). It turns out the thermostat was set way too high and also the electrician commented that the placement of the fan could have been in a more practical position to allow access. I did not recall what I spent the first time

Joe was great--worked with my schedule for the estimate and subsequent services, explained everything he was doing, and did the job professionally. Showed up on time and cleaned up after the job was done. Because the caulking job was so easy, he did it free of charge. I should also note that I got another estimate for the door--about $2,000.

I called for an estimate for the drywall and Joe came out within a few hours on a Sunday evening because he was at the neighborhood Home Depot. I was having A/C problems the same weekend and I was still waiting on the company I use to come out to check my Unit. When Joe arrrived he took the time on a Sunday evening to inspect my unit and give me a quick lesson on what the problem was and how to avoid in the future. His actions were priceless in my opinion!! After some discussion about inspection of recently renovated work in my home I decided I wanted him to re-model my half bath in lieu of only fixing drywall from a leak from recent renovations in my upstairs bathroom. I had other projects I needed to do but wanted to spread them out for financial reasons. I decided I couldn't afford not to do them while he was still available and before he started a new job. What started out with something simple ended up with what I have been putting off for too long because I lost faith in other contractors and empty promises. He delivered everything promised and at times he was more concerned than I was about minor issues. I found myself telling him just to do what he needs to because I trusted him!! I hope I don't have any surprises come up in the near furture but if I do I know who to call and I feel confident I will be in good hands. One more thing worth noting is I have my elderly mother at home all day and he was so kind to her and patient with her many requests that had nothing to do with our agreement. He went above and beyond our contract and never mentioned it.

From the beginning he did a first-rate job. Before beginning work he showed us the type of board he planned to install, to ensure that we agreed. We were gone the week he performed the work, so were very pleasantly surprised to come home to a finished project, completely cleaned up (No mess at all!). The re-painted wood trim was done well, and showed no signs of the red underneath. I have nothing to complain about and can sincerely say he (and his crew) did excellent work. I definitely will use him again.

Joe stopped by for the estimate the day I called. He figured the estimate on the spot. He squeezed our work in to his schedule and was able to complete the drywall and priming the day after the estimate. Then he came back a couple days later to finish the painting. There were a few paint drips on the carpet, but for the most part they worked hard, had good attention to detail and cleaned up everything before they left. Joe was friendly and good to work with. I will be using Joe again for work in the future.
