The ladies who packed our stuff were amazing. Nothing was broken. The only draw back was that we didn't know where our things were until we open all the 63 boxes.

Very well. In the weeks leading up to the move there were some communication issues between the key components of the company and us but they were settled satisfactorily. Movers at both ends, and office staff, were professional, organized, friendly and very hard working.

Outstanding. Crew was professional and courtesy. Very fast and efficient while being thoughtful not to damage anything. Placed protective wrap on all carpeting in our new house and apartment. Second time using Interstate and will use every time. Original estimate was for 7 hours and ended up only being 5.

There were mostly minor but irritating problems until the delivery point. Then the problems went beyond irritating. Interstate has a very clear problem passing tasks from one team to another. There was no problem free handoff from the estimator to the packers to the loaders to the haulers to delivery. The estimator did not request enough wardrobes. The packers were not sure what to do about it. A supervisor came and took care of it. The packers failed to inventory boxes I had packed. The loaders had to take care of it but were not happy about it. They were not happy about having to pack other things the packers should have taken care of. Neither was I. The contract gave the movers a one week window for delivery. They delivered two days beyond the contract window dates. They were supposed to reimburse me $125.00 per day they were late. Of course, I have not seen any reimbursement over two months later. Upon delivery, it was discovered that they had lost my ladder, the legs to a computer table (the table without the legs is not worth much), and the hardware to my dining room table. The truck driver said he would replace the hardware but did not do so. They damaged or destroyed a shelving unit, plastic storage units, and my Neato robotic vacuum cleaner. They asked for feedback twice. I provided it twice. Never heard from them again. I will file a claim but I am not optimistic. The procedure for filing the claim is complex and filled with language that protects the company. I was assured before I signed the contract that there was protection for me. I am not so sure now

This was a local move from Burke to Sterling. There were 2 large box trucks involved with 5 movers. The packers came early but did the packing in 2 sessions as per our request.

Although it was just a little more than one room of furniture, we paid a lot of money to use a big reputable company and have been a little disappointed.

They pack paintings, packaged many pieces of fine china, moves a valuable glass-topped dinning table, moved lots of other pieces, all carefully packed and unpacked. Very careful.

The move manager was prompt, courteous and professional; and the move crew represented Interstate in the same fashion.....knowledgeable, professional and diligent.

Moving is stressful but Interstate took the worry out. The communications from the beginning to the end were excellent. The team was extraordinarily customer focused. They took great care with all of the furniture, wrapped it and crated it. When they returned the furniture, once again, they were exceptionally careful with everything and worked with me to put my house back together. They even helped me put foot pads on the furniture to protect my new floors. This is the A team! A side note, since this was a storage move for a brief period, I had originally considered using a Pod--they recommended against that--and while it was likely more expensive, I think if I had used a pod my furniture would have been ruined--this all happened in the mega snow storm. Interstate is a highly professional, reliable firm. I would recommend them to anyone--small to large move, local, national or international!

Bought lunch for moving team on delivery day which saved them time and was greatly appreciated. Team was hired by the hour with six men and two trucks. They completed job in less time than estimated due to very efficient service, saved over $1,000 in estimated cost.

Overall, this was the best moving experience out of the 13 moves I've made over the last 25 years. Everyone I dealt with at the company was responsive and professional. I initially contacted a moving consultant with the company (Kim W.) to discuss using their Clutter Buster program to store furniture and household goods before the house was put on the market and then storing the remaining furniture while we went house hunting at our new location. Kim created a detailed estimate on the cost to store the items and also how they would handle specialty items that required special treatment. The two packing teams the company sent were top notch. Both sets of packing teams were impressive. They were efficient and treated our belongings with care as were the loaders who came behind the packers to crate our belongs to put into storage. The loaders consulted with us on items needing to be crated after they had wrapped them to ensure nothing got damaged. While this added to the overall cost, we appreciated their input and concern to ensure none of our items got damaged during storage and then shipment. When we were ready to move our household goods to their new destination, I contacted my moving consultant to arrange their shipment. The whole process was easy. My assigned moving managers (Ebony and Jewell) stayed in contact with me throughout the process, checking in with me multiple times to see how the packing and loading were going. The mover (James G.) from Interstate also stayed in touch with me while he was on the road to my destination. The crew he hired to help him unload the furniture (Anthony W. and Jay J.) were regulars on his stops to the San Antonio area and they worked great as a team to unload our furniture. They treated our belongs and house with respect and professionalism. Interstate Movers in my opinion, is a top-notch organization. The fact that the lead packers and movers we dealt with have been with the company for a very long time speaks to their ability to retain experienced employees who know how to get the job done superbly and efficiently. The process they've set up to consult with the client at every step helps to make the process less painful. This was a fairly expensive move, but the adage that you get what you pay for rings true in this case. We wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Worst moving experience ever. They had my hints in storage for 4 months and my leather sectional came out broken with water And mold damage. Second my tv stand was broken it to pieces. I went through allot Nd asks them t make it right. They told me not our issue. Said because bye lost brackets on my daughters head board and h sales department just made excuses for the operations side destructing my things. Smh because they could have tried to work with me but decided not to. Would tell everyone not to ever use this company or your be out of luck on your items.

IT WENT GREAT! I obtained packing and moving estimates from four companies before making a decision. It was difficult because I had never moved so much stuff across the country. I selected Interstate Moving and Storage based on their estimate and the comprehensive services offered. They even took care of obtaining parking permits since we lived on a busy street. INTERSTATE is a TERRIFIC COMPANY with outstanding employees. Virtually everything made it to Colorado in excellent condition, including a number of delicate (and quite valuable) sculptures, fine Waterford crystal, silver, jewelry, marble topped antique side board and two wash stands, rugs, lamps, dishes, paintings and carved wall hangings, everything! Nothing was broken. The packers (led by Porsche) were the very best. They worked hard all day, and were very respectful and patient. Porsche packed liked she was packing for the Queen of England. Nobody could have done it better. I had about a dozen pieces of original artwork, ultra fragile sculptures and they all made it in PERFECT condition! Absolutely perfect. Not a single little finger broken. She carefully floated each one in bubble wrap and popcorn in individual oversized boxes. On DAY TWO, the heavy movers arrived to move the furniture and the dozens of boxes packed the day before. I was impressed with their energy, physical strength and outgoing personalities. In addition, I was impressed with their ability to solve problems. Fox example, there was a very large desk upstairs that had to be disassembled and moved over an outdoor railing as there was no way it would go down the stairs. The movers removed the screens and doors where necessary and put it all back just the way they found it. In addition, their office staff was excellent. The woman who provided the estimate (Kim Woods) for Interstate had a friendly, outgoing personality and was willing to negotiate in good faith. She even dropped off used boxes ahead of time so I could start packing, and she showed up on moving day to make sure everything was going as it should. The representatives Interstate were honest, patient, competitive, and persistent, but never pushy. Incidentally, the owners of Interstate are also donors to the Salvation Army, one of my favorite charities, something I found out quite by accident, but it did help me make the decision between the last two very competitive bids. When our furniture and personal effects arrived in Colorado the movers on this end were excellent, too. All of the boxes and other items were carefully numbered so that we knew everything arrived here. They covered the floors and banisters with cardboard and packing blankets to make sure nothing was scratched. They were happy and hard working and they got it all in in only about 6 hours. They never stopped until it was done. And the put everything together and moved it to the positions I requested. Overall, they are an A+ moving company and I highly recommend them. They did what they said they would on exactly the days they said they would do it. I know there are cheaper companies out there, but if you want a professional move, and peace of mind that your things will be treated with the utmost care, this is the company you want to hire. They are definitely worth it.

Very professional from packing, to loading the truck to unloading. Everything was delivered very timely and with nothing broken or damaged. They wrapped all the furniture in our house before they took it out to the truck to prevent furniture and wall damage. I would definitely use them again.

Packers arrived on time and worked diligently to complete job in one day. Polite and knowledgable and professional. Next day three movers came on time and packed stuff into pallets on truck. Great guys and hard workers Very professional. No problems whatsoever.

We were very pleased with the move on both ends. All employees were very courteous and respectful. They worked hard and quickly, taking only 1/2 day to do each part of the move. We had already packed and moved some things, so we probably had less items than most people would have. Items were carefully wrapped, packed, and labeled. The movers who delivered our belongings placed items where I requested, and were even willing to move furniture around if I asked. They reassembled all items that had been taken apart in Maryland, even trying to fix the damaged area on the computer desk. All trash was collected and taken with them on both ends of the move. We would definitely use this company again.

Excellent service from the very beginning by everyone. The moving consultant was always accessible when we needed questions answered. They were extremely competetive and went as far as providing us with a large array of moving boxes. The day of the pack went smooth, they showed up on time and worked non-stop which gave us ample time to get our house cleaned and ready for closing. They placed paper on the floors and blankets on the railings to protect the house damage. They worked with us at our destination to get our household items to us as soon as possible. The unpacking went just as smooth, we couldnt have asked for a better moving crew. Hopefully this will have been our last move but if not we would not hesitate to use this compnay again.

It was a pleasure working with Interstate. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and nice. The movers themselves were friendly, hardworking, respectful and careful. We like the way they run their front office. Marianne who mans that front office post was most helpful and kind. If you sign a contract for a move you can receive a discount on new boxes and used boxes are free. Interstate has very clean trucks and storage facilities. We had a multiple stage move and storage of our things and with each leg of the move we were given our first preference of dates and times. We thank Ebony and Joe and all those involved. We felt confident the whole time in the professionalism of this company and its employees. We would recommend Interstate to others.

We contacted Interstate for an estimate on packing and moving our household goods. Mike S. arrived at our home on time and did a very through inventory. He was very helpful with information concerning the move and what to expect on packing and moving day. Any questions I had were answered promptly and courteously. We were very impressed with Mike's presentation and information on Interstates which is one major reason we ended up choosing Interstate Moving and Storage. He emailed an estimate the following day which was very detailed. On packing day the packers came promptly on time and were courteous, professional and very easy to work with. Our belonging were packed carefully and well padded. When moving day arrived the movers were also on time and very friendly, professional and easy to work with. We did not have a scratch or banged wall. They carefully padded the stairs, floors and doors. We were very impressed with how quickly they packed the truck and how careful they were with our belongings, wrapping each piece and taking inventory of all items. We were so pleased with how quickly they arrived at our new home in FL. Again being very careful with each item and not making a mark on any wall, floor or door. Never had to ask them to be careful as they treated our furniture and belonging like their own! I would highly recommend Interstate. Their professional, friendly, courteous service made our move so smooth and worry free. I can't say enough good things about them. From start to finish we had the best service anyone could want!

I called in the day before moving and requested specific time for the crew to come. The request was honored and the next day the crew showed up exactly at the time we need them. They (Jim, Steve, and Mike) were very professional. Not only did they move our furniture and boxes, they also helped us packing the rest of the house and moved them all together. It's a good experience. We really appreciate their effort and professionalism. Will call them again next time if we need to move.

As a military family we have encountered nine moves within the US and overseas. As a result of her expertise, our move to NC was completely stress free. Bridget went above and beyond to always remain in constant contact, while keeping us informed of every detail. She delivered boxes to our house on several occasions to assist in our prepacking. She is exceptionally competent in her duties. Packing day arrived and we were completely prepared for our move as a result of Bridget?s outstanding work. The packing team (Regina, Nicole, Andrea) quickly demonstrated a high degree of skill and extreme care in wrapping and packing our house hold goods. The ladies maintained a high standard of work ethics beyond any we have encountered on any move. We would like to share our high praise to each of the members of the team. Day Two/Three the Interstate truck arrived and the loading team (Mo, Chris, Daron, Marius, Jonathan) immediately put us at ease with their competence and high degree of skill in packing and loading the truck. Each item was carefully wrapped and padded as if the item belonged to them. We were thrilled that each item was wrapped inside our house before transporting it to the moving truck. Above all, the team was very proficient and maintained a high degree of professionalism at all times. They were extremely courteous and maintained a smile at all times even through the rain while loading the truck. The team demonstrated years of training and a high degree of skill while preforming their duties in our home. This was completely evident while crating our most treasured oil painting. We extend our highest compliments to the team for a job performed extremely well and with the highest level of expertise. We owe a high gratitude to Ebony Larijani who kept us informed on our move schedule through numerous phone calls. A huge thanks to her for her outstanding service.
