Christopher was very engaged when he arrived for an estimate. Offered several options for how to proceed on a possible repair project. Then he left...and we never heard from him again!?! Called and left a voice mail, still no response. Puzzling...

Heinz Home Improvements and Services, Inc. is a fantastic company! The owner, Chris, and his colleague, Jesus, renovated our bathroom last month and did a fabulous job. They were affordable, worked quickly and efficiently, and were so personable. Chris was extremely responsive to any questions I had--day or night. They patiently answered our zillion questions and worked with us to resolve issues that were discovered in the bathroom once it was demo'd. The completed bathroom looks absolutely beautiful. He provided a timely and detailed written estimate and did the work as promised. Was courteous and thorough and followed up to determine if we were satisfied. We didn't need a roofer to do what he did. He is an excellent handyman on other things as well.

Chris was awesome. I saw his truck in the neighborhood and took a chance on hiring him. Glad I did. He is very knowledgeable and offered a lot of advice throughout the project and on other questions I had. He never tried to upsell the project, and kept the end goal in mind (getting the unit ready as a rental). I was getting a bit concerned about my timeline as I didn't give him a whole lot of time to squeeze in the project, but he made it work. By the end, he felt more like a friend than a contractor. Highly recommend.

I use minor are very loosely here, as water was allowed to run for over seven hours. We called Chris in a panic, and he immediately engaged and took charge of mitigating the damage. Chris Heinz and his staff were very professional. When discussing our job and estimate, he provided valuable feedback to assist us in our projects and decisions. He went over and above, especially regarding the powder room faucet and vanity. The first waterfall faucet did work out due to the hole positioning on the vanity top and mirror. He had already installed the faucet, before the issue was realized. We had to order a new facet, so he then uninstalled the current one and came back to install the new one when it arrived. Over and above! As the vanity was free-standing and on legs, it was going to expose the floor beneath. However, the previous homeowner had installed Pergo flooring just up to and around the vanity. So once the original vanity was removed, there was no Pergo underneath. We had some extra Pergo left by the previous homeowner. He was able to use this leftover Pergo and piece the floor to match to other flooring. He did an excellent job on this! During the project, he would consult with us if we needed to make decisions. His communication was great on this project.

Christopher brought in a painting contractor to do the work which he told us about up front. He came with them on the first day and showed them the damage from the leak and showed them some other areas that needed to be repaired. They worked on the drywall most of the first day since there was a lot of repairs that needed to be done. We were very impressed at the end of the first day all they had done. Christopher was in contact with them throughout the day. They needed to come back the second day to do all the painting. Christopher came by the next day to check on their work. There were some places he pointed out that needed to be repainted. He contacted them and we set up a date/time for them to come back to do the touch up painting. He came when they were done, but still here, to inspect everything. We were very pleased with their work and the way Christopher handled everything. We will definitely use Heinz Home Improvements in the future for any home repairs we need. We definitely liked his professionalism, the way he handled the contractors and making sure the homeowners were satisfied. We would definitely recommend Heinz Home Improvement to others.

Heinz Home Improvements is the only place I call when I have something around my house to fix, clean or remodel. Once again, everything I wanted done was completed quickly and expertly. My front steps and walkways were covered with years of dirt and moss. I never thought Christopher would be able to clean them. He did an amazing job and everything looks brand new! Truly, an amazing difference.

The remodel went really well. I didn't want to change my whole kitchen because I was very happy with the cabinets. I just wanted to open it up a bit and move my refrigerator to another spot. It was a tough job because Christopher had to match existing cabinets, (which are no longer available), flooring, granite and tile. He found the maker of the cabinets and we were able to have them custom made. He removed some walls and built a new closet. He moved the refrigerator from one side of the kitchen to the other and connected it to the water supply. Christopher is very particular about his craft and his work is always of the highest quality. He has a great personality and is easy to work with. He always listens to what you want and lets you know if it is possible. He has great ideas and helps make the whole process a little easier. I know for a fact that Christopher really wants his customers to be happy. I love my new kitchen! I already recommend Christopher to all of my friends.
