Description of Work: DO NOT HIRE THESE CONMEN. BE WARNED. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. DO NOT HIRE!! After two business days late, they showed up unprepared to do the job as we originally asked. Then being told it would be more money, we decided to go another direction. We wanted wooden framed aluminum screens installed and they were planning to put aluminum framed screens mounted on our 80yr old weather rotten wood. Fortunately, that wood had already been removed as they stood their confused. Obviously, they could NOT do the work as was written up in the contract. We asked for a full refund because there was a major miscommunication and understanding. Instead of returning our money, they kept 25% of the total cost of the job AND charged us a ridiculous amount of $1500 for two guys sanding our porch ceiling for one hour. Almost $4000. They are dishonest. Stay away. When we called to complain they hang up on us. Granted, we did approve the estimate online as is their claim for the cancellation fee, BUT the lion-share of the work on the contract was not even possible to complete. How were they going to mount their aluminum framed screens if there was no wood to support it. There were also other mistakes in the contract. (Work to be done on front porch - the porch is behind the property) This will be sorted out in small claims court and BBB is aware of this unprofessional group. NEVER HIRE THEM. NEVER WORK WITH THEM.

With mortar and flagstone, an edge was added to my working shed that compensated for poor measurements made by an earlier contractor who had built the flooring. Thanks to Gus's crew, the shed now has a more solid look with a much needed evenness and a finished look.

+ 0 morewhen we demolished a carport it left open wounds where it joined the house and exposed some rotting rafters. Gus and his crew replaced the affected rafters and roofing and repaired/cleaned up the entire end of the house where the carport roof had been attached. They did a great job. Gus responded quickly to the request for quote and his crew was here the next morning. All of the work was completed in one day and on time.

Finding a trusted company to do work in a timely manner for an affordable price is so hard especially in our area. Gus & Sons did a great job! + 2 moreThe joist that was slightly damaged some time in the past due to water damage was sistered to a new 2x10x16 joist. new joist was set into cut masonry wall alongside existing joist and bolted along it's entire length. Suffice to say it's not going anywhere. Had a hole in the wall closed up with new bricks and that was done nicely. Finally had a lot of cast iron drain lines replaced with PVC which turned out to be more of an adventure than initially estimated, but the adjustment was totally reasonable and the work was done nicely.

I felt like his only client, as he and his team worked diligently to fix severe problems caused by a second rate renovation of an upstairs bathroom by a previous contractor. Gus was very helpful in giving intelligent advice about dealing with my insurance company, helping me not leave money on the table that was due to us. The only small hiccup was a couple spots that needed to be touched up with the painting after the work was done. Gus was 100% committed to our satisfaction and scheduled the touch ups right away. He and his team were very professional and helpful, and I have since turned to Gus and Sons for other projects in my rental unit. I think the price was really good for the attention and service we received, and will certainly continue to rely on Gus for future projects.
Description of Work: We had a major water backup/leak inside the ceiling on the main level that necessitated a large scale repair/replacement of the plumbing.

He always arrives with the necessary crew members and they do everything they can to minimize the mess the make. He gives reasonable estimates for the work and will provide multiple options for repair vs. entire renovation. I highly recommend him as a general contractor for any and all home maintenance issues you may have.
Description of Work: I had an extensive list of random jobs that needed done around the house. 1. He renovated tile in my master bathroom and fixed a leak between the tile and the shower door that was causing water to seep into downstairs utility room. 2. He repaired decking and gutters that were damaged due to a large tree limb falling on them. 3. He found and repaired areas of wood rot on outdoor carport. 4. As always with remodel projects, unexpected problems arose and things took longer than we'd thought, but we'd seen enough Property Brothers to see that coming.
