Green Vista Tree Care

A tree limb was already hanging of a very large tall tree close to my house when I contacted the company. I was anxious about getting the job done quickly. Daniel Foster came the next day to evaluate it and give me a price. He said he would schedule it within the next week and would call me 24 hours before he scheduled the work. Of course it rained and was windy much of the days in between, but Daniel did exactly as he promised. The work was done less than a week after my initial contact. The weather cleared and the crew arrived 15 minutes before scheduled and got immediately to work. The tree was down and the area cleaned up in about 4 hours. The crew was very considerate and left my yard clean of their drinks etc. They did everything I asked them. It has been a great relief to not have to worry about the tree. I thank them for their good work and would definitely hire them again. I have recommended them to a neighbor.

Green Vista came out very soon after we called, gave us a very detailed estimate and came back at a day/time of our choosing. they showed up when they said they would, they did everything they said would do and the work was just as we discussed. the guys that came out and did the work were professional and polite. we were very happy with the whole experience. we have a half acre yard and five large areas that needed to be weeded and mulched. we also had several tree limbs that needed to be taken down. there were a lot of weeds. all the work was done in a day and it looked awesome.

I was very impressed with the owner Danny for several reasons: 1. Good communication -- My job involved trimming of two trees (not cutting down a tree) and Danny wanted to meet with me personally when he came to give his estimate. That made sense to me. Two other tree companies had their arborist stop by unannounced to assess the trees (the issue isn't trespassing but rather communication; I wanted to meet with the estimator in person to discuss what I had in mind and hear what they thought about it.) 2 Knowledgeable -- On the river birch, it was quite tall and I proposed reducing the height several feet. Danny responded (as did most of the other tree companies) that this wasn't good for the tree so I agreed to thinning which would open up the tree, and allow better air flow. On the large spruce at the side of my house, I proposed cutting back certain limbs but Danny countered that when you just cut a spruce limb partially, it tends to weaken the branch -- a fact I could readily observe based on previous lower limb trimming. He proposed cutting designated limbs all the way back to the trunk (the only one of the four estimators to suggest that approach) I took his advice and am very pleased. 3. Reasonable price / sufficient crew to do job -- His bid was the lowest of the four (although that in and of itself wouldn't have clenched the deal; I also wanted someone who knew what they were doing.) I believe four men came today and they did my job in about two hours, cleaned up everything, put things back in place and shredded all the limbs with their clipper at the curb. Highly recommend.

Would use again. Used angies coupon and had additional work done. Will use again based on cost and the efficiency of the crew. Owner was professional and understood what needed to be done.

They added extra money because there was more work that needed done. They came when they were suppose to come. They were fine. I would recommend them to others.

This is the third time we've used them, and will do so again!

The manager/estimator came out and explained what needed to be done very well, and gave us a firm estimate. His workers arrived 11 days later. They were alone, without the manager/estimator, but they call him and they had a long conversation on the phone in which he obviously explained what he had contracted for them to do. They spoke little english but were highly capable, pleasant, and professional and worked many hours doing the job. They did exactly what the manager/estimator told us they woud do. I did not have to remind them of anything or correct any planned action. The job was done well and they cleaned up afterwards. I have no complaints and am very pleased with the entire job, from start to finish. I intend to call this company for any further tree work I may have in the future. I can recommend this company without any reservations.

Came out quickly for the consultation, gave a good estimate and advice on what trees and branches to remove. Called ahead and let us know when they would be out (can't set a day based on summer rain!) About 4 guys came out and climbed right up the trees,. They worked fast! The main guy checked with me constantly on what was being removed, if they should remove more or stop- which was greatly appreciated. I thought the price was excellent for the amount of branches removed and how high up they were. They cleaned everything up. I would certainly use them again.

Very responsive. From the initial call, provided the estimate and scheduled the work to be done within a few days. Even trimmed both trees on a Saturday morning.

Dan called & scheduled site survey for estimate. Gave estimate. Two days later, truck with 4 guys arrived. Went right to work. 2nd truck, 3 more guys. Two tree climbers, sectioned a 40" diameter tulip poplar 60 ft high & a 14" dead pine 60 ft high. The felled a 10" dead pine 50 ft high. They chipped & removed all brush & left tree sections in yard as estimated/requested. I would *definately* use them again for any heavy duty tree work I will have in the future. Outstanding service, excellent price.

They cut down the tree and branches quickly and kept the mess to a minimum. They left the wood in a pile where I specified. They told me the stump would be ground down at a later date. They were back within a week to grind the stump while I was away at work. Overall, they gave me a great price and did excellent work!

They worked with me and helped me get the work done on a short time line which I am very thankful for. They did a great job. No complaints. Would definitely use them again and would (and have) referred them to others.

Green Vista came out and gave an estimate that was 1/2 of some of the other Angie's list providers we asked for quotes from. They explained what they would do and came as soon as the weather permitted to do the work. They did not ground the stump as deep as originally quoted due to the number of utility lines running around the tree, but they explained the restrictions and our options.

I pulled Green Vista off of Angie's List because I needed emergency tree work. Danny came out the same day, gave me an estimate which included a $200 Angie's List discount, and completed the work the next day. He and his crew were highly professional and did exactly what they said they would do. They cleaned up the site and left it looking good. I would definitely recommend them for tree work.

Arrived on time, Performed work and cleaned up job site. No issues. Great experience.

Their price was the best I was quoted, and they did good work cutting down several tricky trees that required roping.

Green Vista Tree Care was responsive, professional and quick. Wiley holland came by the week before and we discussed all the options (of which there were many) to have done for the deal. He made a number of suggestions and it never felt like a sales pitch. He was professional and called me the day of the work to let me know the team was on their way. The pile of tree debris, which another service had given me an estimate much greater just to to haul away the massive pile let alone trim the bushes and cut down the small evergreens, would have taken me hours to drag everything from our large backyard to a truck and then haul it off to the dump. They did all the work in no time and it was worth every penny. I walked around the site with the foreman, Pablo, afterwards to review the work and they did a great job. One more stress off of my to do list! They also cleaned up any debris that had fallen along the path and sidewalk. Left my yard neat and tidy.

Super simple, super efficient, super happy. What else can I say? The guys came out and made it very easy to schedule - even coming over early, because they were in the aerea, which I really appreciated. They were able to cut back the trees fairly quickly, including several trunks of a large overgrown cherry tree which our neighbors had started express concerns over. I added a couple of "and another things..." change orders, and they took it all in stride. I would use them again in the future in a heartbeat, no question. The price overall was not too bad - and the guys threw the trees into the chipper right then and there, and - the best part - did a fantastic job at cleanup. Highly recommended. Not only were they the first vendor to respond via Angie's list, they were the only one (of three) that i contacted that first day that both emailed and called to get in touch, and they were the first ones out to check the lot. They had finished before the other two vendors could even schedule. I liked that quite a bit as well.

Everything went very well in this basic "cut this tree down" scenario. The tree was very close to my house, but they duid exactly as i asked.

This is the first time I used this contractor and will definitely do so again. Dan responded within the hour by phone to my request for the estimate and he came the same day to do an onsite estimate. The work was performed the following week. The work was exactly what I wanted which was to prune things back so that I would not have to have the work repeated each year. My property was throughly cleared of all debris. I have not had exactly this work done before but in comparison to similar work I thought Green Vistas prices were very fair and reasonable.

I was given a bid. They were very nice and the neighbor referred them to us so I am confident of them. They were professional and courteous. It was more than I hoped to spend so I may try to search for a better deal. They showed up on time to give us the quote.

It went as planned. The initial consultation was puntual and the work was clearly articulated to me. The job itself was done in a timely manner and met my needs.

The estimator came out and was very helpful. He offered me an array of options and we narrowed down the services based on what i wanted to do and our budget. When the crew came out the estimator was on site and made sure the crew was clear on the work that needed to be done. The crew was fantastic! They worked diligently and they knew what they were doing! I was surprised with how much different my landscape looked when they were done. They did exactly what they said and even went above and beyond what I expected. I had a fantastic experience with Green Vista, they were organized and paid attention to detail. I have found my company for landscape projects; I will use them again in the future and will be referring them to my friends and neighbors!
