Green Lady Masonry and Remodeling LLC

Very, very happy with the Service. We started this job in SEP15, but ran out of time - so it carried over to this Spring. Just finishing up now. The crew is co-led by Debra and Gerardo. She handles the landscaping and Gerardo the stone masonry/anything else. They have a crew of super employees - work hard, competent, and professional.. Debra and Gerardo were terrific in helping to shape the end look for the yard and provided terrific ideas along the way to improve the project throughout. Debra led the interaction with us and helped inform us with the relevant information we needed to make decisions. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and accessible. Initially they took out two large trees that had outgrown our property and a bunch of boxwoods. The work was done professionally and they pulled out the roots to preclude any future issues. During the root extraction two of the pipes for my sprinkler system were damaged and they fixed them quickly. Also, I live on a slope and my yard gets swamped, so they put some PCV pipes on the downspouts to allow the water to funnel directly to the forest behind my house. Its noticeably different now it terms of the water saturation in the soil. Next, they did the construction in building the two front walls, which looks terrific. Then they planted the shrubs and other associated plants. I'm very happy with the finished product (and my wife is very happy we got rid of the two trees and boxwoods - who knew)? Hard for me to say 15K on landscaping, stone walls, and all the other items is 'best value', but that's what I'm telling you..I challenge anyone to find a better product out there. If you're looking for a superior product at good price (that's what I call best value) I recommend you give Debra a call. You won't be disappointed.

I can't recommend this company highly enough. Deborah and her crew are true, caring professionals who take great and obvious pride in their work and your satisfaction. I sought several quotes for the job I had in mind but Deborah's stood out way ahead of the rest in one thing- she truly cared about what I wanted. The big name local nurseries came out and barely listened to what I wanted before they had a plan all drawn up with a quote, asking for a deposit. And they all looked the same! Deborah took her time, coming back out to my house several times on her own to look around and really think about what I wanted, what would look best, be easy to care for and be native to Virginia. She made suggestions on other things to help improve the landscaping, all of which were sorely needed but had also been neglected by me. Her mason artist, Gerardo, built a beautiful garden wall, included a few steps, and was able to tie in to my existing walkway and front porch seamlessly to make it look as though they had all been built at the same time. When I mentioned that we also needed to have our driveway redone, Gerardo said he could fit it in at the same time as the wall. His work is magnificent! Having existing shrubs and a tree removed, building the garden wall, painstakingly shopping for and installing the beautiful plants, shrubs and grasses, even coming over while the new sprinkler system was being installed, Green Lady does it all tirelessly. She even came back, weeks later, to go over every plant with me and the care for each one, all the while pruning, weeding, and smoothing the mulch as she talked! If you want a beautifu, uniquel garden, wall, drainage solutions, etc done and done right, you can't go wrong with Green Lady Landscape Design!

She did a wonder job. She selected was well exicuted, and the selection of plants were keeping in what we were looking for. A couple of plants died over the winter and she replaced those in a very thoughtful manner. The propitiatory was very pleasant work with

A long lost rear yard was transformed into an oasis of outdoor space.. After twenty years of disappearing grass, storm water run off and settlement the design team at Green Lady Landscape (Deborah and Geraldo) blended our old with their new to create a visual escape. Ugly runoff replaced with natural stone and green plantings.. Uneven slope now a 300 sqft flagstone patio masterpiece that provides utility for an area that we never would has considered using to entertain.. Until now.. The experience from start to finish was personal.. The Green Lady actually comes to your home... not a staff or regional team member... Estimates and range of pricing were accurate and competitive.. The team arrived when scheduled and finished on time.. We accepted bids from 4 companies before selecting Green Lady and were rewarded with everything we were hoping for... Because we had been so happy with the work that Green Lady Landscape performed with the work done in our front yard, we decided to have work done in our back yard. We have so many trees in the back, it has been hard for us to make many things grow. With the help of Deborah and her son, Joe--they were able to suggest and create a beautiful setting! They were careful to choose plants and bushes that could thrive in the fairly shaded area and also require little care. It is truly a delight now to be able to sit on the deck and see how pretty the area has become. We would highly recommend them and plan on using them again for our side yard as live on a corner lot.

Because I am not too good with gardening, decided it was time to have some landscaping done in our front yard. I had contacted a few landscapers, but decided to go with Green Lady Landscaping. I had called one of the owners, Deborah, and she was able to come over pretty quickly and evaluate what could be done. She was quick to draw up a plan, choosing shrubs and plants that will look pretty and yet--would not require a lot of maintenance. Her son, Joe--a co-owner, created a beautiful front yard. He was also able to move hostas and other plants that had been in that area--and replanted them in other areas of the yard. Both Deborah and Joe were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Their cost was reasonable and I plan on having other areas in both front and back yards, landscaped by them as well.

I hired The Green Lady Landscape Design Company to come and overhaul my greatly overgrown, weed-infested, cottage gardens. The transformation was truly wonderful. They were attentive to every last detail; from the initial consultation, to the design, implementation and final product. Since that initial project, I have rehired this company several times to work various projects not the least of which include reparations to my brick patio and replacement of the supports surrounding my raised beds. I am very pleased with the results of these efforts as well. Overall, they are knowledgeable, professional and courteous; a true pleasure with which to work.
