Jeff arrived quickly and assessed our situation. He replaced our thermostat with a new digital one, programmed and tested it to ensure it worked properly. He did a great job!

Service person arrived, diagnosed problem, and fixed - all within 2 hours of calling on a Sunday.

We have been on a contract with Evercool for about 6 years. We have never been disappointed with their service. The owner of the company, Jeff is very responsive and knowledgeable. Thomas, Lamar and John have performed most of the routine service on our heating and air conditioning systems. I trust them explicitly. Everyone is very professional. The cost of the yearly contract is very reasonable and the response times have been very quick. Would recommend this company to anyone.

We paid for the yearly service contract. Fall and Spring inspections and cleaning. After returning the contract and making the payment I called a couple of weeks later to set a date for the inspection. The contract was located and a time and date was set. The technician arrived at the appointed time, spending approximately 40 minutes in checking the unit, and cleaning it. The unit is running fine.

The old York heat pump was about 14 years old, had been recharged several times, repaired once, was again leaking coolant and performed poorly since day 1. I called Evercool and one other contractor in July because the old unit was barely cooling. Both quotes were a reasonable price. I selected Evercool because: 1) no upselling of extras like UV lights, HEPA filters, attic fans, and extended warranties; 2) innovative positioning of replacement air handler; 3) improved the ducting at the connection to the air handler; 4) coolant recharge for old unit at no cost until they could do the job. About recharging the old unit - because it was July and the air handler is in the attic, Jeff (of Evercool) wanted to try an hold off on doing the job until cooler weather (which I agreed with). He had someone come out the next day and recharge the old unit at no cost to me to see if it would limp along for a while longer - it did. .Unit was replaced in September by a crew of 3 techs with Jeff getting them started. The install took the entire day and was uneventful. Since the install I have used both heating and cooling modes without issues. I would absolutely use Evercool again. Update on 1/10/2013: Since the unit was installed, I've had it malfunction (cease heating) twice. Each time Evercool was immediately responsive and performed the work at no charge. The first time they had to replace the connection box which had overheated causing the power to be cut to the unit. The connection box was the original. The second time was to replace a part that had been damaged during the install (but had lasted 3 months). Evercool could not get the part locally and thus would have to order it. Since the Christmas holiday was approaching they wanted to get me back up and running that day rather than wait for the part to be shipped, so they replaced a major part that included this smaller part. In this case they responded to my call and fixed the unit all in one day. Bottom line: I am very impressed by how they handle problems, and I believe that's the ultimate test to separate the good companies from the great.

I had gotten several estimates. They weren't the lowest or highest price but I felt the most comfortable with them. Jeff explained a lot of things to me about my system and what I needed. He didn't try to over sell like some others did. I felt he was very honest. Other companies told me I needed a much bigger unit but Jeff explained that for the size of my house it wouldn't be necessary. They installed the entire unit in less than one day. They were clean and respectful of my home. Since they installed in the winter they weren't able to test the AC and told me to call when the weather got warmer. I received a call from them in late March when there were unusually warm days. They came out and tested the unit. Everything has been working well. The house temperature is perfect and the unit is much quieter. I would recommend them to anyone.

They do a good job on the maintenance of our unit and did a good job on the installation of the heat pump The owner is really nice.

I contacted the company by phone at 1030 on 1 Aug 2011, and asked for someone to come out and give me an written estimate for the replacement of the HVAC unit in my condominium. I was refused service because they "...are not doing Apartment work now..." whatever that is supposed to mean. I was not given any recommendation for an alternative contractor.

We bought the service contract from them. They check the system and clean it if necessary. They make sure that it is ready to shift from different seasons. They haven't done any repair work as yet but they will do if needed. The guys who come out are very friendly. Their customer service people are very friendly and call to remind me that my air conditioner is due for service rather than me remembering. So we have been very pleased with their service.

This is the second time we have used Evergreen, and both times we have been extremely satisfied with the whole experience. They were polite, responsive, punctual, thorough, expert, quite reasonably priced, and I would unhesitatingly recommend them. The dispatcher was friendly and polite, scheduling us for same-day service when we called in because the condenser on the AC wasn't working and water was flooding the utility closet.The two-person team came out within the 2-hour promised window, explained in detail what they were doing and/or testing for at every step, what they found, and how much the work was going to cost. They quickly and efficiently determined that the condenser was just clogged, not failing, and that we were not low on freon, tested to make sure the whole system was functioning properly, and vacuumed up all the water from the utility closet. At their suggestion, we also authorized them to open up the heat exchanger and clean the pollen-and-debris cluttered coils, to make the HVAC operate more efficiently. In the end, they finished the job for even less than they had estimated.

I had a problem with my furnace. I called Evercool, and the tech on the phone listened to my description of the problem, asked questions, and discussed it with me. He seemed very knowledgeable. We scheduled an appointment for the following day. He arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. It's been working fine ever since.

The job went great. The air-conditioner broke in the middle of summer and I called them and they came out that day, opened it up and figured out what the problem was. They knew what the problem was right away and fixed it and I haven’t any problems since. They were responsive and the person that came and did the work seemed to know his job very well.

I have been using them for years now. I have a contract with them. They come out twice a year. I have a priority service from them. They come out right away. The last time they came out, they replaced the circuit board. There was no charge towards labor. They are really knowledgeable. They are not the type that comes out and leaves without checking. They know what they are doing. They know the equipment and the parts. After I used them, I stuck with them. They actually did more than cleaning the first time they came out. They checked everything thoroughly. Their price is reasonable. I will use them in the future.

We've used EVERCOOL for a couple years now and are on an annual contract. We recently joined Angies List and wanted to drop a review in. Jeff and crew have always been responsive, friendly, and professional. We have no hesitation continuting to use their services.

They were responsive and timely. Service was provided in a professional manner. They also provided me with the option of an annual service contract that was cost-saving without strong-arming me into taking it. I am very satisfied with their service and will use them again.

They sent a technician on the same day that I called. He called in advance to let me know when he was on his way and arrived on time. The technician diagnosed the problem immediately and replaced the blown part from his truck. He checked the rest of the system and was done in less than an hour. Price was fair. I will definitely use them next time.

Our unit broke and have an elederly mom living with us. Came immediately to give an estimate which was cheaper than the other estimates received. Showed up on time, installed it fairly quickly so we were not without air very long. Friendly and hard workers. I also signed up for maintainence contract. I would recommend to anyone.

After he figured out the problem he had to order a new coil.

They were quick to respond - they arrived at my house about 20 minutes after I called. They checked out the furnace. Checked the amp rating, it was okay. Oiled the motor and adjusted the speed. Furnace is 30 years old. Motor is working now, hopefully this will get me through the winter. Eventually, I will need to replace the motor or the whole furnace.

Evercool provided a detailed estimate with options and prices. Price on estimate was exactly what I paid. Evercool arrived on time at the scheduled day and replaced system within 6 hours. The replaced system is located in the attic, so I expected a lot of traffic through the house. None of that happened, as a matter of fact for most of the time I didn't even noticed that anybody was in the house. The installers came, one went into the attic, one replaced the system component outside and at the end the new system was installed. Staff was very professional, quite, clean and knowledgeable. They even vacuumed the carpet after the installation was complete. It seemed they had never been here and the new system just appeared. New system works excellent, provides much better heat and is much quieter than the old one. Thanks to Angie's List to provide me with the lead, I am definitely recommending Evercool and will select company when my other AC system needs to be replaced.

My experience with them was: they kind of talked me into a service contract. They gave me a good deal that I thought was reasonable. I had to call them again for a service call. The parts that I needed were priced a lot higher.

It was good. They were prompt in returning my phone calls. They showed up to do the job on time. They cleaned up after themselves and they were safe when they performed the work.

When I asked for an early appointment to get an estimate they were right on time, so I didn't have to miss work. They showed up timely to replace the furnace and air conditioner. They laid drop cloths to keep the work area clean and I was very impressed with their professionalism. I will definitely recommend this company to friends and family.
