ProTech is Northern Virginia’s leading full-service residential and commercial pest control and termite company that can solve your pest control problems. We are a family-owned operation with 30 years of pest control experience in the Northern Virginia area. We provide a broad range of services including rodent control and termite control, and ProTech is fully licensed, bonded and insured. We offer personalized approaches for each of our customers. We will evaluate the problem and work with our customer to determine the best course of action and how they would like it accomplished. We understand it can be difficult to know if you have a pest problem, so we offer free home inspections so we can provide you with an analysis of your home and offer a course of treatment, if required. Description of Work: They provide pest control and I bought an additional service for Mosquito control. I have been using their service for several years and have been seeing the same technician who is very knowledgeable and helpful with each treatment - I always think it is a good sign when there is not high turnover. Description of Work: The service was good. They came and did an inspection and set traps. It turned out we caught the rodent with our own store bought mouse poison. When they came back in two weeks they didn't find anything else and so took back their traps. We gave them a 'B' because the first time they were supposed to come there was an internal communications problem and they didn't show up. When I called to inquiry they were very apologetic and did get a person out the next day. It is just annoying to prepare for a visitor to come inspect your home on a Monday and they don't show up until Tuesday.

Description of Work: They put two large bait boxes outside and said that would do the job for my mice. It did not. I still have a lot of mice in my house. The technician was prompt and helpful, but unfortunately he was incorrect that putting bait in two places one time would prevent the mice from entering my house. Either they enter other places or the mice that were in the house continued to multiply.

Description of Work: Installation of outdoor Dow Sentricon termite "bait" stations [alternative to having toxic termiticides sprayed or injected into house foundation & ground]. ProTech-Springfield,VA owner Steve Dodge & Manager, Neal Striker are superb--committed to top quality service & customer satisfaction. Annandale installation/monitoring technician = "Marvin", who is expert & dedicated to excellence. Very happy with ProTech-Springfield,VA; especially pleased with the "Sentricon" termite baiting station technology which protects my house while also protecting my family's health by AVOIDING SPRAY/INJECTION OF TOXIC TERMITICIDES INTO THE HOUSE FOUNDATION & SURROUNDING SOIL. I recommend others consider using the Sentricon system instead of the sprayed/injected toxic termiticide chemicals

Description of Work: Hired ProTech to service a rental home that had a bad tenant infestation problem. The tenants were gone, but their cockroaches had remained. ProTech was knowledgeable and informative on what their plan was. They treated the house, and will come back to treat again after I complete renovations. Whether the bugs are gone will remain to be seen, and I'll have to update either up or down on my rating pending the actual work. But their customer service, free estimate, and technical knowledge was great.
