No bed bugs found by worker or beagle. They returned again when we called at no extra charge to identify a bug as a carpet beetle.

At the end of the inspection, he actually told us we didn't need any of their services. I was extremely pleased that he was honest and didn't try to upsell us or sell us something that we didn't need.

We found them shortly after joining Angie's List for an unrelated reason. They even offered a discount for being a member. They do a great job and we are very pleased with them. I plan on using them again in the future for any pest control or maintenance services I may need.

We got their name from Angie's List and we've been very pleased. We have been using them about six months, and I think they come on a quarterly basis. They let me know that it would be the same person coming to do the treatments each time which made me feel very comfortable that he or she will eventually get to know the property. I actually happened to be home when the person came today, and I got to speak with the man who performs the service. He was extremely friendly and professional. I am very satisfied and also the price seems reasonable.

I was both surprised and let down that they did not do more treatment on the interior. Also, the man said the treatment would only last a few months, and that to fully control pests I would need a full treatment plan. I felt like they should have been more up front about the fact the treatment would only last a few months, and put that information on the deal. The deal stated it included "precision-placed treatment of key areas inside of the home, including all cracks, crevices, and entry ways" - which was not done. I have a bathroom right in the entry way and I felt like he should have at least sprayed there. From a business perspective, if they were using this deal to get in the door to new homes, they didn't leave any type of information on their treatment plans for follow up. I felt a little let down by the entire deal.

They sent us a post card to let us know what date they would be coming. They were timely, and when they came to the house, they knocked on the door and introduced themselves. They were very professional.

Great. Good guys, knowledgeable. prompt, professional. I had sprayed the wasps with 3 cans of spray and it didn't work. Yellowjacket trap from Home Depot was useless. Two days after their treatment, the yellowjackets were gone.

We have been using Protech for over 10 years after we discovered our front porch had termite damage. We met with several companies and went with Protech to not only remove the termites but to install a system to keep termites away from our property. We have renewed our termite control contract with Protech every year and have been very pleased. We recently met with Protech again to talk about a spider and cricket problem we are having inside the house. The representative was very knowledgeable and advised us to sign up for a bi-montlhy plan that will eliminate spiders and crickets. We signed up for the plan and the representative immediately sprayed inside the house and around the outside perimeter. It has only been two weeks since the service was provided but so far, we haven't seen any spiders or crickets in the house. We aren't able to accurately rate Protech on price since we haven't researched pricing for the same service from other companies. At the time that we began our termite treatment plan with Protech 10 years ago, they were priced comparably with other companies.

My house had become overrun by tiny ants. I had asked to be called prior to the technician showing up, as I work a short distance from my house. When I met David I told him I was in a bit of a rush due to work, which he understood and helped me get through the process as quickly as possible. He first came inside to take a look around, but at that time did not see any sign of ants, so it was determined that they are indeed coming in from outside. He treated the perimeter of the house ( front and back). Since, then I have no seen a single ant. Thank you so much ProTech and David on being so professional.

I bought the Angie's List extermination Big Deal for $79. We had an invasion of ants in our kitchen at the end of August. ProTech did a one-time treatment for ants and other insects. He sprayed around the base of the outside of the house, and he also sprayed around some planter boxes and flowers pots on the brick patio. The technician arrived on time and was very polite. He advised that if the ants continued, he would leave me a tube of some gel, and I could apply that at the spot where I saw the ants entering. A couple of days later, I did still see ants coming into the kitchen, so I applied the gel around the baseboard of the wall next to the yard. Since that time I have not seen any ants coming in. Also, I saw a dead roach in the garage, so the treatment is evidently helping to keep insects out. I would definitely consider using them again.

It was good. They probably fell a little short of expectation but my expectations probably were a little too high. The backyard still has a considerable amount of mosquitoes but there's probably just nothing you can do about that unless every house in the neighborhood gets sprayed. It was probably still working but definitely not above my expectation.

He found no threats to the structure of the home. He was courteous, knowledgable, and did not push to sell me something, but instead he took time to clearly address my concerns, leaving me with information for future reference should my needs change.

Did a great job. On time, thorough, and answered my numerous questions. Would use again.

Company scheduled the first week of the month to come out for 5 treatments. Although one particular month, the mosquitos were worse than normal, the company guaranteed customer satisfaction and applied another treatment. The second treatment for that month seemed to help. I highly recommend this company and will be using them next summer.

Came on time and treated yard. Still had some gnats and a few mosquitos, but overall a good improvement. Provided detailed info about chemicals used when I requested it. It seemed to me that they were using the same product as most other providers at a more affordable cost. It rained the day after one spraying which seemed to reduce the effectiveness. We called the office and they sent a technician to re-spray at no additional cost. Overall, happy with the service.

Postcards announcing the treatment date each month, but could change that date if needed. When I had mosquitos in the yard just a few days after a treatment, I called for a retreat, and they scheduled another treatment within a few days and without any questions asked. This responsiveness was very much appreciated.

The first treatment seemed to go well, and I noticed a marked decrease in the bugs for about 3 weeks. Then their scheduling got mixed up, and I didn't serviced for 6 weeks (when I was supposed to get serviced approx every 4). After that the pests returned after about 2 weeks. This last time, mosquitos were back wihin a week, and stink bugs were there in 10 days. I have to say I haven't seen any ticks on the pups all summer, but the dogs are treated monthly too. I live in a highly wooded area, but my yard is cleared, and is about 3/4 of acres (I'm guessing). If the technician spends 20 minutes spraying the property, I'm surprised. Although I was told it is a high powered sprayer, it is still hard for me to believe it is adequate to spray a wooded area in that short of time. I doubt I will use them again, although they were very nice people.

The technician arrived before the scheduled time, we were outside shopping, he waited for us without any complain, he asked if he could tour the house first (which he did) and looked inside cabinets, behind doors, etc... searching for insects. he thoroughly explained the difference between spraying the inside and the outside of the house and the benefits of each. He also took us throught he brochure of services that Protech provides and introduced us to his "termite inspectors" (2 little cute dogs, their pictures are on his van). finished in 30 minutes, gave us his card and left. we didn't have any major insect issues at the house, it was just a move in precaution. recommended.

Not great. They arrived as scheduled. But when we explained that we were particularly concerned about a particular bug we had seen a handful of times in our kitchen (we thought it was a roach), they said it was likely a german beetle or german roach and we would need to pay for a series of spraying sessions to get rid of it because the basic service woudn't cover it. Seems to me the basic service should cover basic pests. Trust me: this bug is nothing exotic.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine for what it was. We may consider them for a larger yearly pest service. He was there for about 30 minutes and sprayed in a couplke different areas inside and outside. He explained to us what he was looking or spraying for. He was very professional but the service was very limited. I expected more for what it's kinda set up to be but everything about the employee was great. I was expecting more of an in depth one-time service.

We contacted Colony Pest control about ant infestation in the kitchen area. The service provider was courteous and professional.

I contacted Protech to get a inspection for termites in a home that we will be purchasing soon. Steve showed up on time and did a thorough visual inspection in which he explained a number of things that a homeowner should watch for. Steve then introduced me to his termite sniffing dog, Marlowe. Marlowe checked everywhere and luckily found nothing. Steve then hid a vile containing termites in the bathroom and within a short period of time Marlowe found it. I was very impressed!

He was late and calling the office was frustrating as the customer service representative couldn't reach the pest control technician to find out why he was delayed. He was professional and explained what he would he doing to control the spiders with spray. The spray was deemed safe; however as a precaution - we waited 24 hours before permitting our grandchildren to play downstairs.

It went well. The dog sniffed around and didn't find any termites in the house.
