The window instillation when VERY well. These guys showed up on time and worked for 2 days installing windows in our entire home. It was over 100 degrees out, and they still worked without complaint. The only issue we have had was with a chip in our master bathroom window. We called for repair and were told that due to the manufacturer we could not get the window repaired without paying a separate deductible of $65.00. We did not pay that on principle, but all in all, we would recommend this company if you are looking for new windows.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do.

Ours is a story of a successful failure. After siging a contract with Dream Home to add insulation to our attic, the installers informed us that the work that we agreed to could not be carried out. The estimator probably couldn't see the entire attic area due to storage. Furthermore, the solution offered would not fix the problem we were experiencing with temperature variances. We ended up having the project manager come to our home and, despite thinking through a few ideas that could help from their product line, we all agreed that it was best that the work did not take place. I received a refund for my down payment within days. What struck me about this company is that the installers or technicians could easily have sold us a product we didn't need because we don't know the first thing about insulation. But the people in this company had so much integrity that they did themselves out of a sale because it was not the right thing to do. We didn't end up using Dream Home Remodelers, but we would recommend you check them out for their fairness and straight shooting.

We used Dream Home to replace all of our windows more than 8 years ago. They did a fantastic job! Last year two windows failed and they had the replacements in within three weeks of the call. We also used them to cap all of our wood and install new gutters. The capping looks great and they even did intricate work around the front door that most other companies would not even attempt! Once again, they did a great job. By the way, they were hundreds less than the competition and I got three estimates for both projects. One more thing I have to mention, they suggested larger downspouts when they did the gutters, so far it has worked out great, we have not had to clean out our gutters in two years and we do not have gutter guards. Originally, we actually wanted to purchase gutter guards which they do sell, but the sales guy said, I recommend larger downspouts over cutter guards because its only a few dollars more as opposed to hundreds for the gutter guards. Saved me a bunch of money! I'm about to use them again for attick insulation, I'll let you know how it goes.

I was very happy. They had to come out a couple times, but the entire time they explained what they were doing and what they would accomplish. In one case, our sliding door was actually off-kilter. It wasn't a problem with the door, but with the under-surface and they actually helped build that up and even it out so the sliding door would be level. Since they came here, we haven't had any problems with the windows. I am very happy.

I needed the aluminum siding on my townhouse replaced. It was done twenty one years ago and looked it. The color had faded the siding was warped and damaged in places and was letting moisture into the underlying structure. I joined Angie's list to find a company to help me get the work done. I called a ton and had quotes from four different companies. The folks at dream home were good enough to not just give me an estimate but to also teach me about the products I was looking to buy. They were wonderful and very polite and their estimate was by far the best. They signed a contract with me and were good enough to wait for my HOA to approve the work (which took weeks). When the product arrived they arranged to come and install the new siding. They did both the front and back in one day and it looks fantastic. I can only tell the difference in the back of the house, where the aluminium siding was damaged before, which is exactly what I wanted. In a few months to a year, when my roof needs to be redone, I know who I'm calling.

They did excellent work. They showed up on time. Everything is squared up. They cleaned up when they were done. I was satisfied with the quality of their work. They seemed to know what they were doing.

We found them on Angie's List. When other people rated them, they liked them really well, but they thought that they were a bit high priced, and I agree. They were great, very nice and professional.

They do an excellent job and that’s the reason I went with them because they had done doors and windows for me. It a nice company to work with. They are neat, clean, and nice people. They are a nice company to deal with. People are nice. They clean up. They come and do their business. They did some extra things for me which they really didn’t have to do. They cleaned up the attic before it was insulated, which they didn’t have to do. The price was little bit more. I could have got a cheaper price with someone else. But when they did doors and windows, I knew they were going to be expensive. They are easy to deal with. They come and fix anything that isn’t right or if you have any problem with it. I don’t have any problem with them. I would use them in the future.

They came out and gave an estimate in a piece of paper. I didn’t consider that they were professional.

The experience was very professional throughout. The workers were skilled and courteous, knowledgeable about the installation. They were clean, taking care of our flooring and belongings as they replaced the windows and doors. The products are fabulous. We have noticed a big difference in our heating and cooling bills, as well as a noticeable noise reduction. Plus, they are easy to open and clean! We would definitely recommend DreamHome to anyone considering them.

DreamHome has been a great company to work with. From start to finish, they have been a professional company, and the workmanship is commendable. From the beginning, the salesman was very professional, not too pushy or high-pressure like some of the other companies, he was very informative about the project and the products we needed, and made recommendations about what would suit our home the best. But he didn't try to "upsell" or push products that we didn't need. The office stayed in touch with us, informing us of scheduling and installation. The installers were skilled and courteous, trained in their profession, obviously not "day laborers" that most companies use. They were clear about the work that was being done and what to expect, and were very clean and neat once they were finished. We have an all-inclusive lifetime warranty on everything, so I know if anything happens, DreamHome will be there to take care of us. I would highly recommend them to anyone, including my family. And I will use them again the next time we need a home improvement project.

Sales rep was friendly and courteous, but not as knowledgeable as we would have liked. His area of expertise seemed to be sales, not siding. He assigned some "homework" while he made measurements, etc. -- basically calling his list of customers to ask for recommendations. (We did not call.) Pricing was a little weird. The rep offered the lowest price he could, but then offered to match any other company's price, provided we sign something confirming the offer he made. That was to show his boss, or something. Not sure what was going on there. I think the head office wasn't setting the rep up to succeed very well. The products and services looked good, but we weren't excited to hire them. In the end another company offered a similar service, a more complete/specific quote, and a better comfort level, at a significantly better price. We'll consider Dream Home again next time, but they didn't make the cut for this project.

I was very happy with them. They were very responsive. I would recommend them again to others. Their staff is very professional.

Overall, it went well. The rep came in and explained the process in a lengthy detail. Gave me two options, one for basic blown-in attic insulation and an upgraded but more expensive insulation using NASA-type reflective insulation for the walkway. I chose just to use the blown-in insulation. He wrote up the paperwork. The installer came by to look at the attic and within a few days the crew came in and installed the insulation. Great work overall.

It is a new high tech product. The estimate was a good one and the consultation was also very nice. They were canvassing in our neighbourhood and I took their presentation. I liked their price and had I not committed $6500 which I had already contracted for, I would have jumped on the product. He was knowledgeable. He wanted the business. I did call some of his referrals and they all spoke highly of him. I would use them if I really wanted to spend the money for the product right now which I don’t have. They were very professional and showed up right on time. They reconfirmed the appointment about an hour ahead of time. They called to let me that they are on their way. Then 20 minutes later they called to they say that they had some tracking problem and so there would be a 20 minutes delay. I appreciated all those nice touch. The guy who did the presentation to me was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions on the spot, and left me a written estimate. They wanted the business but were not pushy which was appreciated.

DreamHome is a good company to work with. They put new windows in for us earlier that we like and we had a good experience. We invited them to do an energy audit and of course they recommended additional insulation which I already knew was needed. The price seemed a bit high but since I knew them to be good and the salesman included some additional work in the attics, I agreed to the work. We had to schedule more than two weeks out because they were doing a lot of work (hot summer) and the first available date wasn't good for us. They give a specific time as well as day. When the 8am time came and went I called the office and they said they would check because they knew the installer had left in time to have arrived. A short time later I heard from the crew explaining they had a flat tire. Between the flat tire and the delay putting them in peak rush hour traffic they were about 3 hours late. They were very apologetic and said the would give an extra measure of insulation on them because they were late. The head technition had many years of experience and did a good job explaining why the additional work that had been added beyond adding more insulation wasn't needed, necessary, or a good idea. We scratched baffels at the ridgeline between rafters, a walkway across the attic, replacement insulation batts on the wall between garage and house, and potential work to improve functionality of a gable fan. When I brought these changes to the attention of DreamHome they were very receptive to working with me on a rebate that I would be happy with. I have the rebate and still like the company.

Overall, it was a good experience. There was some miscommunication with the amount of gutter protection, but the follow-up was excellent and everything worked out.

They did an excellent job. It is energy star and has cut my heat A/C bills by 30 to 35% Quality is great., service was great too Price higher than most other quotes, but guarantee to cut heating costs proved to be true

The salesman was prompt and prepared. Once I selected them it didn't take them long to get my windows in and set a date for installation. On that day they came on schedule and started working. Three installers got all 11 windows removed and new ones installed within the timeframe stated. A supervisor came to inspect the work with me at the end of the day. Everything matched my expectations as far as the installation was concerned.

Dreamhome Remodeling was profession and friendly from start to finish. The sales rep (John Hinely) presented a great product without the usual pressure experienced by window salesmen. He was respectful of our time limits and reluctance to just "jump-into" a purchase. When we bought our home it had rotting wood trim around every window (we have 12) and so we needed to replace it all. Looking at estimates, the cost to replace the wood trim, (and preferably cap it) was so close to the cost to simply replace the windows we decided to go with the full replacement windows option. John was able to get our product ordered and installed in less than three months and was very considerate about our homeowner association approvals, and colour requirements. He was responsive to all of our numerous requests (we're first time homebuyers, so as you can image we're nervous about everything we do and invest in our home). John was more than patient. The workers who came (both days) were fast, efficient, friendly, and did great work. We have had no complaints. (When the capping of trim was done, it was extremely cold and some of the caulking didn't adhere perfectly, when the window installation crew came out, they happily repaired it for us.) We will use Dreamhome again when we get our doors replaced, and have recommended them to everyone in our neighborhood (that we know). If only everyone's house could look as good as ours does now!

Dreamhome originally showed up to assess possible hail damage on my home. They found damage and agreed to represent me when the insurance company did its estimate. I scheduled the appt with insurance and notified the DH rep 5 days in advance of the appointment. He never confirmed he would be at the appointment and I had to call the morning of the appt. He did show up for that and did a great job. However, I did not contract with them because the sales rep could not keep follow up appointment, did not follow through with phone calls and even after reporting the issue to a manager, he missed the very next appointment. I am seriously concerned with their ability to maintain lines of communication with the customer, so I decided to not contract with them.

I think that they did the work for a reasonable amount of money. They were professional and responsive. I was satisfied with their work.

From the start, this company impressed me. The salesman was on time for our appointment, and took his time explaining exactly how Dream Home would complete the job. He demonstrated his window with a heat lamp that helped us decide to get triple pane windows instead of double pane. The price seemed fair, so we signed up on the spot for siding and two windows. The installers were great, on time and professional. Afterward, the salesman called us to make sure everything was done correctly. He offered to drop by to inspect the job with us, but I told him I had already done that with the installation manager. I was also able to give him the name of our neighbor who was also interested after seeing the big change at our house. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a really good job to be done.

Salesman gave a story about how he's the VP of Marketing, eventhough I didn't believe it, I decided to purchase anyway to take advantage of the window tax credit and the price seemed to be pretty good, the company also has lifetime warranty on labor. After signing contract, I was contaced by a project manager, who sent a technician to measure the exact sizes of the windows. The windows took about 3 weeks to arrive and installation took about 4 hours. After installation there was a chip/scratch on one part of the window and a cut in my siding. However after speaking with the manager both issues were resolved.
