Design Elements Ltd

I was planning to gut the powder room in my recreation room and replace everything. I wanted it to be consistent with the recreation room, which has a wet bar and a very rustic fireplace and mantle, and for which I was not changing the furniture. I?d never used an interior designer before and needed professional help. A friend suggested that I contact Myra Spencer-Easton of Design Elements Ltd. I had never used a decorator or designer before and was very hesitant to try one. I finally reached a point where I threw in the towel and called Myra. What a pleasant surprise the experience turned out to be. Myra is a master at color and was able to select paint colors that tied the powder room to the family room and worked well with my existing furniture and drapes. Throughout the entire project, Myra always worked within my budget and consulted with me to be certain of what I wanted. That was one of my fears of using a designer?I had heard stories of how they take over and your room becomes their style. That was not the case at all. Myra was able to translate everything that I wanted but was unable to execute myself, and the result was that everything turned out a thousand times better than it would have if I had done it on my own. Myra was easy to work with and truly would not have been happy until I was happy. She is pleasant to be with and made what could have been a grueling task fun. I will definitely use her the next time I have a project. Myra is an Allied Member of ASID (American Association of Interior Designers), received her BA in interior design from Marymount University, and has been the owner of Design Elements Ltd. since 1995.
