Everything has gone well.

We had water leaking into our master bedroom and down the wall into the entrance foyer after the heavy snows in February. There was visible rot on the fascia board on the front of the house in the corner where the leak was present. I suspected that was the cause of the leak. Since the roof was about 20 years old we decided to get repair estimates and recommendations on whether replacement was necessary. I called several companies for estimates and most were 2-4 weeks out just to look at the problem. Understandeable given the amount of water damage in the area this winter, but frustrating none the less. Two companies said they would not work on the roof because it was so high (5 level townhouse). Davis was able to come out within 48 hours. Randy Davis told me that the roof did not need replacement yet and that they could repair the fascia board and install a drip edge to fix the leak problem. At the same time they would do a complete roof service and repair any minor problems. Total estimate was $510.00. We waited for 2 other companies to come out to give us estimates/recommendations for comparison. One of those companies also told us the roof was ok, but was not able to give us a firm repair price to fix the leak. The other said we needed a new roof anyway. We decided to go with Davis for a repair job and hope to get another coupl of years out of the roof. Davis came out again within 48 hours and checked entire roof and performed minor repairs to shingles, reset pipe collars and recaulked. They also found a spot where flashing was short and was actual cause of the leak. They repaired that. Had to come back to fix the fascia because they did not have the correct width board. It rained the next couple of days, but as soon as the weather broke they returned and replaced the fascia, rehung the gutters and installed the drip edge. The roof is too high for me to clearly see all of the repairs, but I believe they did a good job. The floor and wall are now dry and have been even in the rain. Final bill came to exactly what the stimate was. I was very happy with the service and honesty of Mr Davis in not trying to sell me a new roof instead of a repair. I only got a verbal estimate for a new rood from Davis, but it was the lowest of the 3 estimates we did get. Will most likely call them back when it comes time to replace the roof.

Randy Davis came promptly to assess the job and make a cost estimate on reroofing my house. He had a lot of good ideas and was responsive to my desire to do the job efficiently. He answered all my questions and gave very good reasons why certain elements of the overall solution were better than others. I compared those answers with other companies and on the web and came to trust his judgment. His workers came on time and completed the job in one day. When I examined the job I noted that they had not installed one vent that was on the contract, and the gutter caps had not been completely reattached. I called Randy about that and he corrected those items that same day. Overall, I am very pleased with the advice I got, with the quality of the job, and with the price. The price was the lowest of three bids I had received.

Suffered ice d*** damage from the Blizzard of 2010. Contacted Davis Roofing and Mr. Ron Davis was very responsive and set a date for an inspection and estimate. Next day his crew was on site and made the repairs in one day. No mess, no fuss!

After the massive snow storms in February 2010, I noticed a leak in an upstairs bedroom. The massive snow and ice buildup on the top and front of my townhouse was causing the leak. Davis Roofing was very responsive and came over for an estimate the same day I called. They came to perform the service the next day (which also happened to be a federal holiday) and arrived promptly at the scheduled time.

Pretty well, I think, as only time could tell how well the work was done. However, the estimator came on time, provided me with the written estimate in the mail. I contacted them for the work, but also asked them to clean the gutters, which they did with no extra charges. The weather was pretty bad on the morning of the work day, cold and windy. Three men came, worked about 30 minutes and said they completed everything. If the work is good, then I would highly recommend them for the professionalism and the cost.

I thought they were very good. They offered the best price and they did a good job with the roof. They were prompt and professional.

They found the leak and fixed it. We called them and they returned our call the next day. They came out the next day and fixed it. They were very prompt and nice people.

Mr. Davis was one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. Don't waste time with the bigger outfits, they are well priced and willing to help.

He had put my roof on years ago, so I know he does excellent work. I felt this cost was a little high, but I didn't get any other quotes. They did a good job. I would hire them again.

Had one intermittent leak around one of the chimneys. Had a problem fixed in years past, but leak returned. New, and more severe, problem arose around a bathrrom vent pipe on roof. Called Davis Plumbing. The owner responded in person at the house. After I explained problems he offered a comprehensive service of the entire roof; inspect and seal all chimney openings, vent pipes, flashing, gutters, etc. Workmen arrived early the next day and completed work, no problems since. I was VERY happy that Davis proposed to go beyond the two known leaks with a comprehensive servicing. The peace of mind knowing that the entire roof (actually two roofs) is in good shape is priceless. The experience taught me that roofs need to be serviced and inspected regularly.

Davis also replaced my entire roof back in 1986 and they are still great. I told him what the problem was this time and where it was. He checked it out, called and told me how much it would be and fixed it. I was charged exactly what he said and I have not had any problems with the roof yet. They were very good back in 1986 and they are still good now.

Bid was second lowest out of five bids. Work done quickly once the contract was signed(signed Friday, work completed the next Monday and Tuesday). A few minor surprises, (charged for replacement gutter not in the contract, some roof edge siding which came off during the job required wasn't caught in final review took a phone call to get them back to fix (which they did quickly), and the black aluminum flashing under dormer windows on a light colored roof really stands out and will need to be painted for blend. While final bill was $800 over original estimate, these expenses regarded intangibles that required getting the old roof off to see what lay below. Differences were cleared up over the phone afterwards with Mr. Davis, who was very accommodating and wanting to please the customer.

They arrived quickly after our call for an estimate and at the appointed time. We were impressed that the estimator already knew the manufacturer and exact color of our shingles upon arrival (we live in a 100-unit townhouse community). The work was accomplished within 48 hours of our accepting the estimate and we didn't even have to be home. The bill was left at our door. (No advance payment required). They did a great job!

Job was done in one day by a large crew. Company did a good job cleaning up. Was responsive to fix minor damage caused.

Mr. Davis and his crew were punctual, thorough, and very professional. They required no down payment (payment was due at completion) and his estimate (which did not change) beat the competition by nearly $2,000. It is a family owned company that has been in business for over 40 years. They came highly recommended, and now we know why. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

THEIR SERVICES WERE EXCELLENT AND THEY HAD REALLY REASONABLE PRICES. THEY REPLACED MY ENTIRE ROOF AND PROVIDED ALL NECESSARY EQUIPMENT ESSENTIAL FOR THE JOB.
