Great company to deal with. Contacted Davis Roofing for estimate and repair after insurance inspector found extensive roof damage due to hurricane! Mr. Davis provided repair estimate and had his crew waterproof roof while insurance claim was processed (no additional charge since he installed new roof). New roof was installed with dimensional (architectural) shingles! He had two crews working to remove old roof and install new roof! I also had all roof ridge vents enlarged and replaced! He also installed bathroom vents and two roof fans! I needed some gutter work done and his repair cost was very reasonable. I opted to replace all the gutters with oversize (6") gutters with leaf guards! All work was excellent. Gutters even match house trim. Roof work was done in one (long) day and gutters took an additional half day. Cleanup was thorough. Warranty is lifetime. Highly recommend Davis Roofing.

We just needed emergency repair to parts of a shingle roof - did not want to replace entire roof at this time. Service people were pleasant, fast and completed the job well at a good price. Some of the repair solution is not pretty (roof ridge is now lumpy) - but it works well enough. (Since we are going to replace the whole roof in the next few years, a pricey precision repair was not needed.)

I cant say enough good things about this family owned business. They take pride in what they do! I had a leak which created a big problem due to the torrential rain. Randy came out and was very professional and personable and agreed to have the job done immediately. Subsequently when we were repairing the ceiling in my bedroom we discovered some issues. Ronald was very nice and sent Omar (the Great!) and his team within a few hours to allay my fears and take care of some smaller issues. Very prompt! Thank you so much. It is wonderful to have a roofer-for-life.

Mr. Davis came out promptly and diagnosed the issue immediately. He determined the source of the leaks and promptly came back to do the repairs two days later. His crew did caulking, sealing, and installed new gutters. We were extremely fortunate to have the work done in such a timely manner because in less than a week we had Hurricane Irene and then the Tropical Storm Lee. These torrential down pours certainly tested the repairs AND all is well. I was so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the issues. Other contractors (such as the original roofer) just scratched their head and left us with a leak. I was so pleased to have the problem fixed!!!

My house sustained some minor roof damage during Irene. A neighbor of mine suggested I call Ronnie Davis, owner of Davis Roofing, because he lives in our subdivision. When Ronnie came by a few days later, the first thing he said was that he would fix my roof for free! And he did! (Neighbors a couple houses down from me had just hired him to replace their old roof, and he used extra shingles from their job.) As a single woman living alone, I usually feel like a sitting duck so to say this experience was unusual would be an extreme understatement. Needless to say, I can't speak highly enough of Davis Roofing. But even though my roof was now fixed, I knew that since it was so old I would be a nervous wreck that another section would decide to fly off whenever we had a storm. Also, my neighbors' new roof looked really nice, and they were pleased with the price. So I hired David Roofing to replace my whole roof to just get the whole thing taken care of. Everything took place when Ronnie told me it would, and it only took them about 3 hours from start to finish. They cleaned up every scrap or debris and left my patio cleaner than it had been. The cost equaled the estimate to the penny so there were no nasty surprises, just a brand new roof and a stress-free experience with a company that really impressed me.

It couldn't have gone any better. This guy knows what he is doing, is super with customers, and knows how to grow his business..

Company showed up when they said they would, provided a reasonable estimate in writing, showed us their credentials, and fully explained what they would do. They showed up on time to do the work, got right to it, and cleaned up after themselves. Professional and courteous at all times. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had them about a year ago. The project went very smoothly. They showed up on time and did a good job. I really don't have an opinion about the workers because I was travelling at that time. My wife was monitoring the job. They did a good job and I was happy with their work. I would recommend them. There was no problem with the cleanup. I was happy with the price and I want to say that they were competitive.

They were absolutely wonderful. They were very honest and lived up to the outstanding reputation that they have. We were very pleased with them.

I spent $10510 on that work. They were wonderful. We had certain concerns around the chimney and were very responsive. They came several times and helped seal the chimney at no charge to us. They were great.

I had used Davis Roofing several times over the years for minor leaks, so they were one of the companies I called to get bids when the roof needed to be replaced. They came out promptly and priced it for a couple of types of shingles. After all bids were in, their bid was best (by quite a lot in a couple of cases!) but other companies had included items not mentioned by Davis; when I raised the issues, Davis agreed to include them with no increase in the price. We had a last-minute question about the color we selected, and they came out promptly with some shingles to give us an idea of how it would look, confirming our original choice. It gave us confidence that they were really concerned about our satisfaction. They came on time, with a large enough crew to complete the job in one day. My wife pointed out a couple of spots where original window flashing (not installed by Davis) stood out against the new shingle color while the crew was still here, and I subsequently noticed marks on my siding, and Davis came out in a timely manner to fix the problems. The new roof looks great!

I have used Davis roofing for many ears. They replaced my gutters and downspouts years ago, have fixed a chimney leak and I call them twice a year for gutter cleaning. They show up, do the work and leave an invoice.

They were very prompt. They came on a bitterly cold day. They seemed to do a good job. About a year later the flashing they has sealed had a small leak and had to be resealed. The pricing was good.

The initial work in early spring was to fix a leak. It wasn't fixed, as it later turned out. However, we didn't have hard rains until after we decided to have them replace the entire roof. It was later that summer that we noticed the leak returning. It took several calls, several "visits" where they claimed they fixed the problem but never told us where or what it was. The workers didn't speak English. We went through this for a few years. We never knew if anything was truly fixed until we got a hard rain. We finally thought it was and had the drywall repaired. Mistake. It rained hard again and ruined the new drywall. Finally had to threaten reporting to BBB or lawsuit to have them FIX. THE. PROBLEM. It was only then that the owner (Davis himself) made an appearance and isolated the problem which was the original (and not properly diagnosed from the beginning), having to do with sealing the area on the wall between the two split roofs. We just wanted it fixed. We were within our rights to bill him for the cost of repairing the drywall but we didn't. He gets high marks in the recent "Checkbook", so I hope that means he learned through us to make sure customer complaints are addressed correctly. I don't know how many split-level homes he's had to repair for leaks over the years vs. just a routine roof replace. Positive ratings are for the roof replace itself, although we were told later than flashing wasn't done properly.

DAVIS ROOFING INC was very prompt about showing up. it took less time than they said it would. they were great and did a high quality job. i would use them again in the future.

They did the work we hired them to do. They were on time. The price was reasonable. For these reasons, I would hire them again for straight roofing work. The only negative is that the reason we are replacing the insulation is because of simultaneous efforts to exclude vermin...which I very clearly mentioned several times. Well, it turns out that our problem wasn't vermin but wildlife and Davis Roofing didn't use thick enough metal flashing for wildlife exclusion. So, the work I just paid them to do had to be redone as part of the wildlife exclusion effort. They also failed to notice the sizeable wildlife access hole in the soffit. Not sure how they missed that if they did a "thorough" inspection. Maybe inspecting the roof doesn't include inspecting the soffit? Anyway, like I said, they did what I hired them to do and I would certainly have them bid on another project should the need arise.

Davis Roofing was very quick to respond with an estimate and were able to get the job done quickly after we signed the contract. Their pricing was very good and they were very professional. Davis Roofing is the best contractor for any job we've had done on our house in the past 9 yrs. Wish all contractors would have the same professionalism and work ethic as Davis Roofing!!!!

They were just absolutely fabulous. I called them to get an estimate for my roof which was getting old. They came and repaired it and they were here exactly when they were supposed to be. They were under budget and were just great. They walked me through what needed to be done, when and why. They talked to me about the roof tile. I didn’t feel pressured and they didn’t try to sell me stuff. They were really professional. The office staff and the work crew were both excellent.

The project went well from start to finish. Randy returned my calls in a timely manner, showed up when promised, and did a great job for a good deal less than the other companies I contacted. He also gave me a good explanation of why I should have the whole roof re-shingled rather than just half, which the other companies did not do, and cheerfully gave me estimates for different options. (It was actually a new roof that had a tree fall on it and only half the roof was damaged, so I originally wanted only half the roof done.) There were quite a few men working on the roof and all were polite and responsive to any questions I had. The work was performed quickly and, as far as I can tell, they did a good job, though to be honest we have not had a soaking rain yet. Not to be overlooked is the fact that they did the best clean-up of any company I have ever used. If you have ever stepped on a nail and had it go right through your sandal, as I have, you know how important this aspect of the job is!

Very well. They showed up on time and competed job in less than an hour. Took before and after closeup pictures of their work. So that I could see the work done on the roof of our two story home

a crew of 11-12 guys came and had the entire roof replaced within 2-3 hours. they worked quickly and efficiently. the quality of the work was great, no leaking, no more rotting under the old roof--shingles look really nice too--met ronnie davis in person 3 times--he gave us shingle samples and came over to survey work and give us advice. very responsive to calls and personal meetings. i would definitely use him again--he was very professional, and also gave us a few hundred dollars of a discount because we used him and were referred to him by our real estate agent. the cost was more than the initial estimate (which was around 4 thousand)--BUT he said there was more water damage than they could initially tell...he could only find out after they were taking apart the roof...AND he gave us a discount...so i don't have any complaints. ronnie davis was very kind and good to us--seems like an honest man, and knows our area really well--was very knowledgeable. we will use him again.

Had problems with Squirrels getting into attic. They closed off all entry points for me. Problem seems to be solved.

They did excellent work. They are small, quickly responsive and moderately priced for the work they do. They are dependable. I've already used them 3 times over the past 12 years.

In mid-December 2008, we noticed a minor intermittent drip coming from our bedroom ceiling. The leak was so minor the ceiling drywall remained intact and barely noticeable damage. Davis Roofing, 7522-K Fullerton Rd, Springfield, VA was on a referral list given to us by our realtor at Long and Foster. I contacted Davis Roofing and Randy Davis returned my call. I explained to him in detail of the problem, the amount of water, location and frequency. In late December, Davis roofing sent a work crew to my residence. Randy Davis said our presence at the home was not needed during the repair. This should have been my first indication..”How can someone fix a roof if they can’t see where the trouble spot is?”. According to Randy Davis the work crew completed a multitude of task to included reflashing, ice barriers and replacing shingles. The work was billed at $495. According to Randy the leak was fixed. Over the next year, my wife and I were gone about 60% of the time. During mid-February 2010 and after returning from a 3.5 month trip overseas, we returned to the same leaky roof. From the damage of the ceiling dryway, it was clear the leak had been persistent for quite some time. We called Davis roofing and they sent two workers the next week. I insisted on being present during this visit to ensure they were clear on the exact location of the leak. 2 Latino males arrived to “fix” the roof, one of the workers was unable to speak or understand English and the team lead spoke a level 2/2 English. The team lead explained the “fix” consisted of locating a hole and applying silicone. I am not a roof expert, but again, didn’t seem this was the proper way to fix a roof. Davis roofing was kind enough to not charge to repair a leak that was not originally repaired. Early March 2010 after a decent rain storm, the leak returned worse than ever before. The leak now extended down the ceiling and onto a window frame. The ceiling damage from this episode cause major drywall damage. I left 3 separate message for Randy Davis and my phone calls were not returned for over a week. While Davis roofing was avoiding my calls, I call another company, which sent a professional. He took pictures of the Davis roofing “fix”. All Davis roofing did to fix my leak, was to apply large amounts of clear silicone to about a 4x4 foot section of my roof. The silicone was put into all the shingle spaces. A portion of my roof was removed due to rot (this was the location of the leak). The roof would NOT have been rotted in that area except for over a year a leak and continuous dampness caused the rotting. Bottom line: Davis roofing cost me $1400 in roof repairs to repair their work and cost me an additional $495 for an original repair that was never done.

As I recall, the job went well. They completed the work on time and within budget. Although we were at work while they were working, it was easy to contact them if necessary and they were very responsive.
