+ 4 moreJimmy arrived with notepad in hand, reviewed the work with me, provided a detailed quotation which I accepted. He recommended several vendors for flooring and counters, and brought granite samples. The work was scheduled to begin on a date of my choice, just two weeks from my acceptance of the quote, and was anticipated to take 10 business days. The job started on the agreed date, progressed smoothly, and ended one day early. The crew cleaned up after themselves each day, and were respectful of me, my possessions, and my pets (this was extremely important to me!). The outcome was fabulous! Everything is fresh and clean and new-looking, at a very reasonable price. They stand behind their work, returned promptly to correct a cracked grout line weeks after the final bill was paid! Kudos to Jimmy for his wonderful work ethic! I've since used Climax Construction for three other jobs, and recommend them highly. Jimmy and his crew are a delight to work with.
Description of Work: Hired to update my 1970's era kitchen in Fairlington, a condominium in Virginia. This job included removing existing countertops and linoleum flooring, installing new ceramic tile floors and granite countertops, refinishing and painting cabinets, replacing the sink and faucet with modern fixtures, painting walls & ceiling. I retained the appliances and light fixtures.
