Climate was super responsive and scheduled the work around our schedules. The installation went smoothly, and took about 3 1/2 days. The unit works fantastically well; it heats the house immediately to a level we haven't experienced in decades! The Inspector from the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) came to inspect the installation, as per regulations, and the Inspector was incredibly impressed with the quality of the installation. "A beautiful job," he said. Climate helped us fill out the Rebate Form for the DC Sustainable Energy Utility, and we waiting to receive our $525 rebate for the boiler and thermostat. A very professional company.

Work completed in five day. Ducts fabricated off-site and fit perfectly to existing system. A very professional work site with great attention to detail.

If I have any issues with heating or cooling, they are always available to come.

Not well. At All! I brought the broken part to the person on duty and she looked at it and convinced me that the part she was going to sell me was a universal replacement. That wasn't the case! She sold me the wrong part. The part I got from her was not what I needed. I tried to return it for a refund and they refused to give me my money back. How can that be? They made a mistake and I had to pay for it!!!! Based on this encounter I would NEVER hire this company to do work on my home. Unfortunate because we will be looking for a contractor to replace our entire HVAC unit this year.

The company did a great job. They were professional.

They were very punctual, knowledgeable and pleasant. They come as soon as you call them and are very good. They have great promotions going on as well.

I received three quotes from top rated Angie's List providers. All were around the same price, once we haggled but Climatic offered a better upstairs unit. In the end I sat down with Sonny and reviewed the other quotes and had him point out the differences to make sure I was comparing apples to apples.

Took three trips to diagnose but they finally nailed it. We purchased our HVAC from them but even before that, the always responded when called and were professional and very reasonably priced. They have replaced MANY of our neighbors systems and I just can't say enough good things about them! If you need service or a new system, call Climatic ... you will not be disappointed!!!!

They are very reputable and they do a really good job; they are very personable and excellent.

I first called to have climate come out to look at a air condition system that was not cooling. they came out the next day and gve a 30 minute heads up so I did not have to wait around for them. I was able to stay at work until they called and let me know thaqt they were on the way. Once they got the the proble was quickly determined and they qupted me a price to fix it. I had the fix it and the system was working fine when they left. I call again the next week becase the outsied unit was not turning on. Again they came out and determined the problem and fixed it. they only charged me for the cost to fix it and not for the dianostic. Both repair men we very courteous and helpful. I am the type of person that likes to ask a lot of question and to get an understanding of what is goin on and how the system works. They were very patient and answered all my questions. I would not hesitate to use them again.

They were very helpful scheduling my call. It seems that there are a few locations of the same company but they are all located under the same website. I call a number in VA but live in MD. On the day of the appointment they worked with my schedule. The technician was punctual and polite. He did the work he needed to do, replaced the filter and gave me an update as he completed the work. This was a routine visit so there was nothing unusual. We will use them again for our winter tune up.

They are nice, courteous, and the main thing is the price. Not only do they check the equipment, but they also take out the vents and wash them at no no extra charge. They are also timely; I can no talk enough about them.

Climate was very good to work with. I called to set up an appointment to get an estimate to replace my Fathers air condition unit and to ask about the funance as it was old. they showed up on time and after inspecting the unit recommended that we just replace the outside unit instead of the both the outside and inside as the inside was in good shape. They also told us that the heating unit had a lifetime warrenty and that they was no need to replace it at this time. They called on the day of instalation to let us know about what time they would show up and they showed up on time. The work was done quickly and professionally and the system works great.

I called another heating company who was going to charge me more than $100 to come out for a service call; the person who answered the phone didn't seem to understand much about heaters & humidifiers, so I didn't book with them. So then I called Climate, who has serviced our system before. The person who answered the phone was friendly & knowledgeable. He told me I could replace the filter myself and ever was looking up the specs for me to explain how to do it until I figured it out myself. He said I can stop by their location and pick up a filter myself for less than $20. I really appreciated how friendly, patient and honest this company has been both today and other times I've called.

They rescheduled once, then tried to reschedule again and I insisted they come out. They were understanding and kept the time. The service was performed, he showed me how to bleed the radiator, which I appriciated. A problem with the pipe was found and I was provided a quote in writing on the spot for the fix. The person that came out seemed very knowledgeable and honest, however he did leave the heat off when he left. I would expect a professional company to turn the heat back on to how it was when they arrived.

Climate was OK at first in terms of bidding and performing the job of replacing a large A/C unit on my roof. The old unit had a hose from the unit to the gutter to drain condensation and keep the water off the roof. The trouble started when a year or so after Climate installed the new unit, my roofer told me that Climate had left a condensation hose in the middle of the roof and had not attached it to the hose going to the gutter. This caused part of the roof to rust and need repair (approx. $500). I called my service rep at Climate 5 or 6 times, but he did not return my calls. I explained why I was calling to the receptionist and she assured me someone would call me back, but nothing. The last time I called, I was told that no one would speak with me and to take my business elsewhere. Not very helpful, considering I had already taken my business to climate (to the tune of around $7500). I will never use them again.

Under service contract with Climate, repairman came promptly and diagnosed problem. Parts were necessary and came next day to install. Overall professional service. As air conditioner is aging, service contract was expensive. We have had contract with Climate for years, but this year (2011) they did not send us a renewal, probably because they do not want burden of servicing older air conditioning unit. It would have been more professional for them to tell me they were not renewing the contract rather than merely fail to send renewal.

I like them. They are very knowledgeable. I think they are really informed and I don't feel like they are trying to sell me something. They installed an air conditioner several years ago and it is just fine. Their prices are competitive. I don?t know if they are the cheapest but I am looking for quality and price with quality being the most important. I am getting estimates for a new furnace and I felt that he was very up front and spent the time trying to give as much information as possible. He was very thorough. I have gotten two estimates and I want to get one more to compare.

I have known them for the last 25 years. They come down twice a year to check the boiler and heating unit. I had my boiler, water heater, and air conditioning unit replaced by them. Once, I had a problem with my water heater and the problem was persistent. No one could rectify it, but, Climate Heating & Cooling diagnosed the problem and advised it was a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty to have it replaced; hence, they rectified it for me for a low cost. I like their services and will use the same in future.

I was very pleased with them. They cleaned up well and took everything with them. I had a lot of problems with the unit a year after the installation but they did come out. I think I had to call them in January and April of 2009 to come and look at it because every time the season would change I would have problems with it. They did send somebody else and the last time they were here was in May of 2009 to look at it. It's been functioning very well now. I was very impressed by the quality of their installation work. They were responsive because they kept coming out when ever I had problems and I called them. They were always on time.

They were responsive and they came out quickly. They were able to order the furnace in a fair amount of time. They were professional and they repaired the pipe within a couple of days, which was good. Overall, their service was very good. We have had a couple of issues in the past where they didn't notice some things.

They cleaned everything up. It would have only been a 2 or 3 day job, but I needed them at the worse possible time because it was around Thanksgiving and the first really cold weather that we had. I was pleased with them. I didn't shop around very much to be able to really compare their price. I have had very good service from them. They arrive right on time.
