BLINDS TO GO

We liked them. It was under $1000. They were good. They were very good at coming out at the spur of the moment. We had little problems. We hadn't had blinds for years, we just had curtains, so we needed a little help adjusting the blinds.

Worst experience EVER. Sales clerk, Miss Khadija Nur, incompetent, combative, disrespectful and RACIST. Not only did miss Nur completely screw up my order, she lied about the errors and tried to blame me. Do not visit this location

Showroom had a lot of things to look at. The person helping us knew what they were talking about. We were able to compare qualities and price for a number of different type blinds in order to pick out the one that worked the best for us. We ordered on 1-28, were measured on 1-30, and installed on 2-3. So one week from start to finish and everything went smoothly. The installer took about 2 hours to install all 16 and did a great job.

I ordered the materials and they were in the store 2 days later. The installer came on a Saturday to hang blinds and shades. He took under an hour and did an excellent job. Everyone from the salesperson to the installer was extremely polite and helpful. I was impressed with the quality of the service, materials, and price.

Four week fiasco! Sales person in the store seemed competent during the purchase of the blinds. Later found that she failed to inform us of fees associated with removal and disposal of current blinds. This turned out to be a minor issue. $650 worth of hardwood custom blinds took 4 weeks to get them installed and still not how we wanted them. First installer failed to contact us for more than a week. Second installer decided that he would only hang them on the frame when sales had sold us blinds that hang from above the frame spaced off the wall. Work orders clearly stated Blinds were outside mount. Installer did not have proper brackets or spacers and had to rescehdule. On second visit he still did not bring stud finder or spacers as agreed. Took him 2 weeks to reschedule. Installer treated us rudely even though we were extremely polite. Installer tried to belittle us and ignored the printed order instructions. Blinds now hung from the frame and are too long for the window thanks to the bullying of the installer and our fear that we would continue to have paper post-it note shades that fall down in the middle of the night with a crash for another 4 weeks if we did not let him screw them in on final visit. What a disaster! We will never shop at Blinds to Go again or use their installatin services again.

It went well. The experience was fine.
