Description of Work: Atlas roofing replaced my roof a number of years ago. I wanted to see if i needed a new roof and if so, I trusted Atlas roofing to provide an honest appraisal with different options. The owner, Ed, showed up on time, inspected my roof and advised me that my roof should last quite a few more years, that it was in very good shape. We discussed options for materials / styles that I might want to use in the future, including advances being made in solar roofing panels. I trust Atlas and when my roof needs replacement or repair, this is the company that I will call. Thank you Ed.

Description of Work: Ed Vander Hoeven, the owner, and his crew were professional, courteous, and did an outstanding job. Ed pointed out where repairs were required and offered options. He started and finished the same day using two crews. Additionally, I needed some additional home improvements completed and he recommended contractors who I used and did the same professional job. I would certainly use Atlas again.

Description of Work: Replaced roof on entire house. Went very well--they did the job, cleaned up every day before they left, protected the shrubs, and provided complete documentation for long-term guarantee for the shingles.

Description of Work: Replaced roof. Of the 10 or so companies we looked at, Atlas had the 2nd lowest price, but when you considered there line by line estimate and description of product we concluded that per service level, Atlas also had the best price. Came in and did a great job on the roof while I was at work. Cleaned up really well. Answered questions about product. Only replaced the plywood that needed to be replaced and we knew there was some previous damage. I would definitely recommend to at least give them a shot to win your business.

Description of Work: Atlas Roofing resolved a nagging leak problems in a >15 year-old very low pitch roof with a large stone-faced chimney in it. |After his initial visit and repair, Ed, the owner, recommend a contractor to repair the chimney, which he believed to be the major cause of our problem. That work was exceptional - no leaks from around my chimney anymore. When minor roofing issues remained after the chimney re pointing, a Friday phone call brought a Saturday resolution by Ed. |The measure of value in a roofing repair is if it lasts. Ed's recommended chimney repair and his company's roof repair, taken together, finally fixed my roof in the fall of 2014. The chimney repair recommendation was spot-on, communication with Atlas was excellent, the repair of some minor issues was covered by the Atlas warranty. |Bottom line: The final results are outstanding - I have no more leaks in my roof for the first time in a decade. |I've owned four different homes in three states since 1974, and Atlas is the best contractor I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Ed is scrupulously honest, meticulous and responsive. Atlas Roofing is a best buy.

Description of Work: We used Atlas when we had a leak on our roof because their estimate to fix the leak was the best. The leak was in our sunroom and they were able to fix it in one visit and tried to fix another leak in another part of our roof that started after we had engaged them for the first one. Ben from Atlas came back several times to fix the other leak but ultimately we ended up needing a new roof. We got an estimate from Atlas, but another company's estimate was much lower for what we wanted and we chose them, but happily recommend Atlas to neighbors.

Description of Work: Atlas Roofing replaced my roof and several skylights in 2011 and, when I determined that there was a leak around one of my skylight, I called them and they immediately sent Ben to assess the problem; he determined that an accumulation of leaves behind the skylight was holding water, which eventually began seeping through the seal to the skylight. He cleared away the leaves and resealed the skylight. There was no charge for the visit.

Description of Work: Excellent. They had warned that I might need a large amount of plywood, but only ended up needing one piece. I appreciated their honesty. Because it was the middle of winter (we had an unusal warm spell), they put two teams on it and were done in less than one day. They also recommended a vendor to install external gutters. That vendor was incredibly good. On that whole, a very positive experience.

Description of Work: Completely replaced the roof on my 3 bedroom split level house, including all sheathing boards and shingles. All work was completed in one day. A Crew of at least 5 workmen arrived at 7:30 AM and were finished at approx 5 PM. They did an excellent job. Prior to the job Atlas provided addresses for a number of other houses they had completed for us to make final decision on shingle style and color. They also gave us solid references to two other companies for replacing my gutters and the gas vent. Everything went like clockwork.

Description of Work: Ed VanderHoeven and his crew replaced my roof including the sheathing, replaced gutters and downspouts. The price was quite reasonable for the work performed. Ed obtained the county permit and even came back during inspection to point out the FRT used. Ed works along side the two crews he maintains. In my estimation, Ed goes above and beyond to please his customers.

Description of Work: Several shingles blew off the west side of my roof during hurricane Sandy. I contracted with Atlas to replace the entire west side of the roof with new shingles. While it took a while for the work to be completed because of the number of customers needing roofing services at that time, once they arrived they did the work in a quick, thorough and professional manner.
