Description of Work: Called late one Saturday afternoon to set up repair appt for my clothes dryer. Without additional cost, they sent repair tech Sunday morning!! Tech showed up, diagnosed problem and fixed promptly. I really felt they went up and above what one should expect. I was very impressed and will use Atlantic Appliance Repair for any future repairs.

Description of Work: I found Atlantic Appliance via Angie's list, contacted them via their website. I received an email the next day inquiring about my address. When I responded, I never heard back from them. I went to Google maps, found a service, and had the repair performed.

Description of Work: Came when they said. Cost for service was $150 which they revealed before they came. Took less than a minute to file the edge of the lever (latch?) that sticks into the key/latch hole. Charged me the full $150. I understand it was the stated price for a house call. But their travel time (less than a couple of minutes--located in my neighborhood) and service time were extremely minimal. I just feel the cost was excessive. Don't remember the date of the service. Sometime in 2014.

Description of Work: Refrigerator stopped cooling. 12 years old. Called late on Friday and they said they would come early on Saturday. Gave a 9-12 window, called before hand, and showed up at 0915. Said they did not think it was the condenser, would have to go get some parts, and would be back in an hour. Back within the hour and found out it was in fact the condenser (we did not clean the coils). Said it would not be worth replacing the condenser and they would only charge the service fee of $49.95. Great service and I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The gentleman showed up exactly at the scheduled time. We called him to take a look at our ice maker in the fridge. Apparently the motor was broken and the mechanism as a whole needed to be replaced. Fortunately, he had a new ice maker in his truck and installed the piece in a very short time. No issues here!

+ -1 moreAtlantic Appliance was referred to us by Luxman Appliance (they're great too) because Atlantic works on washers and cooktop stoves, whereas Luxman doesn't do cooktop stoves. Ravi, the technician from Atlantic, came over the next day to check out our appliances. He was on time, polite, and confident in his work. He looked at both our problems and told us he could fix them, but it was cheaper for us to just buy new appliances compared to what he would charge to fix them. He also called the following day with an estimate of how much parts would cost to fix the cooktop, just in case it was cheaper to fix rather than to replace. I appreciated his professionalism and not trying to push us to pay him to fix our old appliances rather than buying new ones. I figure if I don't use his business now, at least I can recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Looked at our washer and cook top stove for estimate of repairs.
