Description of Work: I had two roofing companies come out to give estimates on replacing the shingle roof on a 25'X 18' cottage. Arash from Artin showed up exactly on time for the estimate. He was thorough and he kindly explained to me some of the problems with the existing roof. The other vendor was also on time. The next day I had the estimate from Arash at Artin (even though it was a holiday week (12/30/2015) and he sent me a link with pictures of my roof. The other vendor never sent their estimate. I followed up and a different person called me back and said that the original person was on vacation. He did go out and I eventually got the estimate about a week later. The prices were almost the same. I chose Artin because of their customer service. Both Arash and Phyllis are very helpful. On the scheduled installation date they arrived early (which did upset my tenant, but he isn't difficult to upset) and finished early. They sent me pictures of the completed roof (I live out of state). Great experience from beginning to end.

Description of Work: They discovered some leak damage to fascia and eaves around siding in the front of a town home and repaired it. They had previously done other work for me. They give a fair estimate, are very professional, clean up every scrap of debris, take photos of before, ongoing, and after. They point out issues as they go, clearly identify the costs, etc. The estimate was detailed and well explained. This has been the case with the previous work they had done for me.

Description of Work: On 85 year-old house, fixed leaks related to slate and metal roofs and copper gutters: worked with me to understand my needs and concerns; kept me informed of progress getting proper slates and paint, rain delays, accommodating my schedule. Did on-roof inspection, including taking photos before, during after work; repointed chimney where needed and applied water repellant; removed slate from one section of roof, inspected all flashing; installed new slate over ice & water shield; scraped, cleaned and painted metal roof; replaced gutter, adding short spout to redirect water flow. Crew protected shrubbery and lawn and cleaned up thoroughly when done. All in all, very professional.

 + -1 moreThese guys are tremendous. We had a leak and I was referred to them by someone who had used them for new construction. Although I don’t believe they typically did residential repairs at the time that I called, I called them and they were extremely responsive. They patched the problem and stopped the leak before they could come make the replacement. They did not even charge for the patching. The price they charged for the replacement seemed very reasonable. They cleaned up thoroughly and I absolutely couldn’t be happier with them.
Description of Work: They replaced the top rubber portion of my roof.
