I knew I had a problem with some flashing around the stack vent on the roof. Artin Services did the inspection and a temporary fix to two problems - the stack vent flashing as well as another flashing problem they found. ( I was not home at the time, so the temporary fix was fine with me.) They took before and after photos which were emailed to me the next day so I could see for myself the problem, and how they patched it. I had an estimate for permanent repairs, which I thought was reasonable. They came back and did the same as before - took before and after photos so I could see the final repairs. I would hire them back for other roofing matters, but the roof is only about 12 years old. I'll keep them in mind in the future.

I only had one thing that I felt so badly but everything they did was right with the estimate. Their scheduling and being able to accommodate and everything was an ?A?. I did not go up in the roof to check their work. I trusted them. They were on time and very accommodating.

From first contact to the end of the project, we were very satisfied with the communication and responsiveness of the company. Though we did have to pay a fee for an estimate (this was free with other companies) ultimately because we went with them for the work the funds were credited to the balance. We liked seeing the detailed pictures of the issues on our roof, scheduling was fairly easy and did not require us being home, and then we received completed images of the work done. We would definitely recommend again, especially as we went through almost 10 companies before making a decision to get this work done.

The roof had minor repairs in addition to other repairs, so they gave me a proposal for the total amount. I'm waiting to schedule the work. I didn't get a head's up on the scheduled date. The first date I selected as on option passed, so I called to find out when it would be scheduled. It was scheduled for the next day (the second option I listed), so I'm glad I called. The repair gentlemen was on time, very polite and explained the whole process. Then after the inspection he explained the repairs that were recommended and said he would provide a proposal with several options within a day or so. The proposal was delivered as promised.

Did a fantastic job. Very responsive, professional and clean. Reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Can out and performed proposed work at an add'l cost of ~$200. It was worth the cost to have this work completed. They're a friendly and professional group.

Artin inspected the roof and found the loose/worn mortar in the chimney and recommended replacing the roof. They took numerous photos of damaged and suspect areas and did repair some flashing to stop a leak. Since the roof was last done 28 years earlier, it was time. Their proposal described the work to be done to include flashing and drip edge, the price, and the additions for board replacement if and as needed. Artin scheduled the job, completed the chimney work first, delivered the shingles another day then completed the job the next day. They provided extensive photos for the roof areas to show the before and after repairs. The roof looks very good and everything was left clean.

Artin came out several times and answered any questions we had. He was very persuasive. The crew did a good job. Very pleased. We will hire them to do a few other jobs on the house.

They did a very good job. They came recommended by my rental agent. I was very impressed by their organization. The proposal was clearly laid out and delivered as promised with options. They took pictures and included that in the estimate. The owner walked me through the project after it was finished. There was no mess at all left behind. I appreciated their feedback on what to look forward to having to do to the roof in the future. Upon inspecting the roof initially, they discovered something I had suspected with the chimney. They were happy to make repairs to the chimney while they were working on the roof. They were able to use a spare piece pvc. They are extremely knowledgeable and great at what they do. I would certainly recommend the company to others.

The chimney needed new brick and substantial work done. The work was preformed quickly, quietly and on time. The clean up was terrific. I found them to be an outstanding company. I am very pleased and have recommended them to my neighbors.

We got estimates from several roofers. Artin was not the cheapest, but were very close to the cheapest, and were the most professional. They also came highly recommended, and for good reason. They were extremely prompt with everything.

The gentleman showed up on time and I didn’t see him until he was done because he was working on the roof. He knocked on the door when he was done because he had dropped something on the back deck.

Service was excellent. When Artin came to do the estimate, he was on time and very through, even included before and after pictures of the work. On the day of the repairs, they noticed a hole in the flat roof over garage and a broken down spout on a separate gutter. They fixed both of the issues for no additional cost.

Artin responded to the call very promptly and arrived at the house the next day. They removed the existing rotted balcony flooring and installed new wood, pvc and sealant. They took photos (roughly 50 in all) of the entire process, and were very knowledgeable of the proper way to seal and install. We were very pleased.

After receiving phone and email estimates from a few contractors, we decided to have Artin Services come by and get a more accurate view of the damage. The estimator (Artin) was very polite and thorough, taking several pictures of the damage and asking pertinent questions. We received a formal estimate the next day, and found it to be competitive with the other contractors we had talked to, so we decided to go for it. Artin's crew was quick, professional, and were obvious experts in their craft. Our only real complaint was that they arrived about half an hour after the scheduled start time, but even then the crew called to let us know they were running late (there had been an accident on the Parkway that morning). This small hiccup was easily overlooked as they completed the job well ahead of schedule, allowing us to get back to our lives. From start to finish, Artin Services provided an exceptional customer service experience at a very reasonable price. We requested a bid by email. The estimator came while we were gone. We were emailed a bid, which we accepted via phone. The work was done on time and the site was left in good order.

hurricane Sandy damaged part of the cap. I was afraid more rain would come through and ruin our belongings in the attic. As soon as we called Artin that we would like to have them install a new roof they came immediately to cover the damage. I was surprised and grateful to get help so quickly. Before we called Artin we called two other places and they wouldn't help us out. We should've called Artin in the first place. Now we know that we will be in good hands and their rates are much lower than most other companies.

A satellite dish used by a former owner was causing a leak...The estimator from Artin removed it that same day and patched up the nail holes. After I okayied the estimate, the work was scheduled and began on time. The gutters were done first...the installer cut and fit 180 feet of seamless gutters with aluminum leaf guards and downspouts...2 downspouts were more than 35 feet. The skylights were next...the workers built the frames for the new skylights in the driveway, while other workers tore out the shingles around the old skylights and removed them. Then they fitted the new skylights in. Another company had told me I would have to have some drywall repair done after putting in new skylights, because removing the old ones would make a mess. There was no such situation here! There was barely any dust or debris inside the house, and plastic had been put down just in case. The job was so neat...you'd never know those windows had just been put in...except they're so clean...I'm very happy...I love my new skylights and now don't have to worry about any leaks. I was skeptical at first but now after Hurricane Sandy realize the larger gutters and downspouts were needed to make sure all the water on my large roof can be carried away without spilling over the sides of the gutters or clogging the downspouts. Artin did a superb job! They will do any other work I need done that falls within their service profile.

Their bid was among the lowest bids and they seemed fine. Everything was fine with them. The company that we did go with pushed towards the manufacturer’s warranty in their proposal for all the materials they used. So there were 2 out of the 5 companies that did that. It has to be correctly installed to carry the manufacturer’s warranty. At least they were paying attention to that. We decided not to go with Artin Roofing Service because we had a horrible experience on another job when we went for a lower bid. We were interested in getting a roof hatch and they were the only ones who took us seriously. They gave us an estimate on that, which I appreciated. I might consider using their services in the future.

They were very good and did the job in one day. They cleaned up everything and there was not even a trace. They called before they came and they were very, very good. They were professional. I called other contractors and their price was good. I would recommend them.
