Very reliable and professional service.

We have a small apartment community located in Northern Virginia. The property has a lot of trees and shrubbery so mosquitos was a great concern for us. We called Affordable Pest and they were very responsive to our needs. The technicians came out and treated the property and it has been great. I walked the property the evening after the treatment was completed and had no issues with mosquitos. We have now had a second treatment and the results have been fantastic. You can sit at the pool during the evening hours and not get devoured by the mosquitos. The technicians at Affordable Pest have been professional, call the day before service, notify us when they arrive and leave the property. We highly recommend Affordable Pest.

Excellent, I have used them for years and it just makes sense to have them on your team. Preventive maintenance should always make sense for a homeowner, that way you don’t get any problems. I just signed up for there mosquito treatment as well. They get the job done.

Terrific! The customer service and communication exceeded my expectations. Affordable Pest answered the phone on Sunday morning and scheduled my Tuesday morning pest service. Jocelyn called me on Monday to confirm and let me know that my tech would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival Tuesday, which he did! James the service tech assessed the property and clearly and accurately explained my issues, options, service plans and prices. The next day, Natalie/Natasha (yikes, I can’t remember which), called to confirm that I understood my plan. Her records exactly matched what James told me and what my contract stated. I’m super pleased with the customer service and communication. I’m standing by to see the pests disappear. :)

Affordable Pest sent a technician to examine the problem and provide recommendations on their removal. The carpenter came out, identified the areas of entry and installed an exit/one way door that allowed any squirrels in the attic to get out but didn't allow them to get back inside. He also sanitized the area of entry to deter them from re-entering. This was left in place for over 14 dys to ensure that the problem was addressed. Later, he returned to remove the door and checked to ensure that we had no further issues with the squirrels. He then repaired all the places of possible entry to block out the squirrels. So far so good, no signs of squirrels or no sound of them running around in the ceiling. All their customer service reps in office are very responsive. However, I must commend Megan who worked with me setting up appointments to ensure that the process went smoothly. She went over and beyond to meet my needs; she is a gem.

I spoke with David Fields and scheduled a treatment. His guy were there on time. They were very friendly and professional. After talking to the tech for a few minutes he inspected the property, sprayed and showed me where I needed to Be concerned and what to look for in the future. Excellent job!

Affordable Pest came out quickly and started a program that has killed off the rodents. I did annual program because I had only temporary success ridding my yard of rodents using bait.

Excellent, The service agent show me where the problem was in the house. He took immediate action to control the problem. He then walk around the outside of the house and show me different places that the mice used to access the house.

The service people are always great. I get calls before they come out and they leave a note on the to let me know they were there.

They were inconsistent. They keep sending out different people with no training. They missed appointments.

I would not use them again. I would tell me after the fact that they did such and such on my property, without informing me in advance that they were going to do it. I asked them how am I supposed to know if they did what they said. It should have been scheduled and confirmed with the homeowner. So I stopped using them.

The professional was very thorough and explained each service and the importance of maintenance. My common area was infested with cockroaches unfortunately and then came to my unit. Although my place was not infested I wanted to make sure they didn't come back. They didn't come back after service.

What I really didn't like was the end of the one year. Every time they came here, they left me a bill even though I already had the service. The last time they were here, they left me a bill and I didn't know of it because I thought it was still covered for the next visit. They never informed me that my year was up and what my amount was going to be. They sent me to collect the bill so I didn't have a choice, I paid them. I cancelled the service all together. I think for courtesy they should have told me that my one year was up and if I wanted to continue, what amount it would be. They would come here and spray outside, I didn't have to be home but they would let me know when they did it. There's one time hey told me to stay home but they didn't even show up. I don't know if they are still in business any more because when I talked to them, they seemed not to know what was going on and the people I used to talk to are not there.

We're very happy with the services! We'd done everything we could to control for mosquitos. Unfortunately, we can't control what our neighbors do and we have a horrible mosquito problem. The moment we stepped out the door, we were attacked. We'd be on the screened porch and there were just swarms of them trying to get through the screen. Not any more! We're now able to use our yard (and just walk to the car) without getting swarmed. It's been great!

Promises, promises. They seemed to be eager to improve the situation, but after repeated requests to have a supervisor come out to discuss the situation (which they eventually did) and assurances that they would send workers out more often to monitor the situation (which they didn't), we have decided to terminate the association. Two difficult winters when it was difficult to assess what was going on and some personal difficulties made me more tolerant than I might have been to the lack of effective service. Also, our neighborhood has seen many teardowns and rebuilding, which may make the rodent situation more difficult to control. However, I have seldom dealt with a company who has been so eager to take my money without providing any results.

They are coming again next week.

Offered a good coupon, good continuous service...almost no bugs throughout lower level. Occasional mice that Affordable Pest will help get rid of.

I googled Pest Control in the Gainesville area as I am in the process of purchasing a home. The home inspector explained what he saw was an 'infestation' in three attic areas and recommended we get a Pest Control company out to evaluate what the problem is and provide a cost estimate. In the process of Affordable Pest visit to the home with permission of the Seller he proceeded to do his job. However his conversation with the Seller and the Listing Agent I feel was inappropriate. I told him to please call me after he left the house to explain the problems he found in private. Not only was their confusion and 'shock' by the seller and their real estate agent at what he found but also his estimate was so brief that it created a conflict as the listing agent told him that she was NOT going to tell the Sellers to pay the prices he quoted to THEM. After contacting several other pest control companies who have experience and knowledge in not only getting rid of the mice infestion but also removing and installing new installation as needed, I'm finding several companies costs to be about half what Affordable Pest quoted. I'm well aware that calling for an estimate cannot be relied upon unless the company goes out and sees the property for themselves as I learned there are so many variables. However, I have a second estimate from another company I sent out to the home today and a third is coming on Wednesday at t,he Seller's request. I was unlucky to select Affordable Pest since it looks as if the other two companies are suggesting the same work for almost half the price. The Seller wants to sell their house and I (the buyer) to buy the house. It would have been unfortunate if the contract fell apart due to the conduct/pricing of Affordable Pest. I am as the buyer (as senior citizen) and the sellers are also senior citizens. I'm wondering if Affordable Pest's prices were in any way their attempt to inflate their prices in our situation.

We started using this Affordable Pest because of an Angie's List Coupon. They called ahead of time to let us know they were coming. Everything went well. Minimal interaction was needed. We seem to be bug free so we continued their service.

I've been using affordable pest for the past year to provide pest control at a rental property. They have no-showed their appointments 3 times in the last 4 months. Switching to a different service provider now.

I think I could be getting this service for less but I have not had Mosquitos this year.

I called Affordable Pest when I saw dozens, if not hundreds of bugs crawling up my bathroom window from the outside. It was like a scene from a horror movie. Really disgusting. Once they came out, they confirmed that they were termites, so that made it even worse. Somehow we were infested. The rep was on time , and that was a big bonus. Too often the problem with service people is showing up late. Then he was able to inform me in a manner that I could understand. I ordered treatment and it was all taken care of and the problem was completely gone in just a matter of days.I have used them and recommended them countless times.
