He arrived promptly, searched the house for entrance/exit spots and closed those up after walking me through my options for pest removal. He was professional and courteous, and best of all, I haven't had any problems since.

overall it was a very positive experience - it would have been perfect had the neighbors done it also (perhaps put out a special for 2 and 3 homes nearby each other), but even being the lone family doing it we had the fewest mosquitoes we've ever had in a summer.

Before their service you couldn't walk from the house to the car without being bitten. Afterwards, we could use and enjoy our lawn. They did a great job.

great -on time, easy to schedule

This was an Angie's List "Big Deal" purchased in June, 2012. After I lined up the first treatment, it was supposed to happen automatically every month. However, I had no evidence they had come in July, so I called sometime in late July, and they said they usually leave a note/receipt after they come. I said they hadn't, so she said she'd tell them to do so in the future. I think maybe the next month I got a note, but I don't think I got one in Sept or Oct, to my knowledge/recollection. I assume that they came and just didn't leave a note, but that's why I'm dinging them on Responsiveness...really more "Communication" in this case. It was our first full season in the house, so I have no basis of comparison to know if the treatments helped (hence the N/A for quality). I don't remember the mosquitoes being particularly bad, but we weren't out on the deck on whole lot. But overall, I'd probably do it again if I got it on special-- just in case it helps.

Overall, they were punctual, and with the deal- affordable. They helped cancel the contract that they forced us to sign up for to get the single treatment we wanted.

They called in advance, they came when they said or called to say they'd be late, they left a note after the service to let you know they came, and we think the serice helped with our mosquito problem. The only problem we had was they came on a day that poured rain shortly afterwards and the service doesn't work in that case. They were very professional and promptly offered a make session. I am super happy and will use them again if the price is right.

Very smooth experience. They called, they confirmed, they came and mice went.

The first time the representative was going to be latefor our sceduled appointment but very promptly called to say that he was running late and we able to reschedule for a more convenient time so that we didn't miss our evening plans waiting for him to arrive. We appreciated the consideration and the timely notice sso no time was wasted.The second time the representative was very punctual. The service was friendly and knowledgable.

They started out great, but really dropped the ball the second month, when they did not show up on the expected service date, which was scheduled specifically with a manager in order to spray before my toddler's backyard Birthday party. No one seemed to be able to contact or find the technician that was supposed to spray the yard for me, and I left MULTIPLE messages for a manager to call and contact me and let me know what was happening and when they would be there, and it seemed difficult for the answering service to find a manager. I was very upset with the lack of responsiveness and my inability to actually contact someone other than the answering service. I had trouble another month when trying to reach a manager, when my service date was "forgotten", and we had to reschedule, but it was a week later. There were also 2 times when the technician was here less than 10 minutes (usually here about 20), and both of those times, I had to call to have them come back to reapply, as that short spray must not have covered my whole yard and the mosquitos were back within a day. When the service was completed correctly, we all thoroughly enjoyed being out in our yard without mosquitos biting us all day. It does work, and the price was right, and for the price, I would use them again. I do wish their customer service was better, it seemed like they were perhaps a bit disorganized at times, and it would have been nice to be able to reach a manager with more ease when issues arose.

The first person who came out wasn't all that professional and I didn't feel that he paid attention to my pest issues. I told the manager, and at the subsequent follow-up visit, I got a different person who really did a very thorough job. He sprayed in every room and reassured me that the spray he was using was non-toxic. I have seen one roach since the spraying was finished, but none since then.

The technicians came to my home and did an inspection. I had initially contacted them regarding a flea infestation, but during the inspection they discovered ants as well. They treated for ants immediately and then explained to me the procedure for exterminating fleas. This required us to move our furniture away from the walls so they could spray the baseboards, so an appointment was made for 2 days later and a week later for the second treatment. They arrived on time and completed the treatment. When I discovered that we still had fleas, I threw away all pet bedding and called them for another treatment. They were able to come quickly to do a third treatment without additional cost and we no longer have fleas in our home.

We bought an Angie's List coupon for the mosquito treatment for the entire summer. We started in July and our last treatment was in September. I believe their coupon was for 5 monthly treatments and follow ups were free. We started in either June or July. The first spraying was effective and the mosquitos (and all other bugs/flying critters) were gone. It probably lasted about 3 weeks. I had to call for August, and I'm not sure why Affordable Pest did not offer to make a set time and day each month to do the spraying rather than have me call each month to get an appointment. They came in August and it rained right after they left (literally, within hours of them leaving). So the spraying was washed out and the mosquitos came back almost immediately. Again, I'm not sure why Affordable Pest didn't call to cancel knowing that rain was in the forecast and did not call to reschedule for a follow up. This was the more annoying part: constantly calling them to reschedule for follow ups and future appointments. We use another exterminator for indoor pests and they have a set time and day each quarter that they come and they give us a call a week ahead as a reminder. We made a follow up appointment for August and Affordable Pest was accomodating and came out to respray. After September, we stopped because it wasn't worth the hassle and the mosquitos were dissipating a little given the cooler temperatures. We may end up going with Mosquito Squad next summer given their reputation and our neighbors' recommendations.

Basically I found this service on Angie's List. I paid for the coupon and called the same day. They came out in two days to inspect and to determine what issue I had and what service I would require. They were on time and very professional. I got all of my questions heard and answered. I set up a return date that best suited my schedule and they had no issue. They returned and did the work in a short amount of time. .

When the technician couldn't treat the yard when scheduled due to inclement weather, a call was placed by the company to reschedule. As I didn't have to be home during the process, this was an honest procedure used by the company to keep it's customers informed and updated on their services. Definitely customer oriented!

The home inspection was very thorough and well explained. We have a child with respirator issues and was concerned about the treatment. An organic extermination method was used. The actual treatment was performed quickly and with little distrurbance to the household. The exterior inspection revealed a couple of entry ways for rodents. The exterminator returned another days to patch these holes (no one needed to be home). Overall, this was a good experience. I am now on a quarterly schedule for servicing.

I had a hard time scheduling the work. I signed up for five treatments and they were only able to do one. I would set up appointments with them, but they would call me and state they weren't coming. I gave them a number of chances to remedy the issue. Eventually, I ended up getting a refund.

We purchased the annual contract offered for $249 on Angie's List. It has been WONDERFUL for us! We had issues with mice and roaches and both have been taken care of. The technicians that came to the house were always courteous and professional, and even though the contract was for quarterly visits we also received a few follow up visits at no extra charge to be sure the measures they took were working. I gave them a B for Responsiveness only because toward the end of the contract they stopped calling to schedule appointments quarterly. When I called them, though, I was able to get an appointment right away. I just appreciated that for the first few quarters I didn't even have to remember to call, and I'm not sure why that changed.

This company is EXCELLENT to deal with. For each appointment they arrived on the day of my choosing to spray. They ALWAYS showed up, were very professional, neat appearances, listened to any concerns that I had and addressed them immediately.

When they showed up, treatment went well, technician was thorough.

I signed up for one of the Angies' deals for backyard mosquito control. I wasn't sure if it would really work but decided to take a chance. I'm happy to say that it did work. My yard was virtually mosquito free all summer. Previous summers I was not able to enjoy my patio or yard because of the number of mosquitos day and night. When my friends were complaining about mosquitos, I was very pleased with myself for grabbing the Angies List deal.

Overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely use them again.

Initial consultation was fine. They just showed up every month and sprayed and we got a note that they had been there.
