Affordable Pest LLC

We own an historic building in the heart of a historic old town. The other side of the block has a line of small restaurants that all put garbage in an alley in the center of the block. There is a rat problem that has resulted over time in our patio area. Affordable Pest addressed the initial issues and then we put them on a yearly contract (call as often as needed) for $500. At a minimum they come and check quarterly. If we have had an issue (I discovered an underground tunnel into my basement) they came the next day and the guy got out mortar and blocked it up, solving the problem. They just did their quarterly check last week and found the three bait traps in the courtyard empty, indicating a lot of rat activity. He filled them and will be back in 3 weeks to check and see how much is gone so they can put us on a more frequent schedule if required. They are very thorough. I like them.

Tim is always very punctual and professional..... and extremely thorough. Tim always covers his shoes with protective booties, and makes sure to not just do the surface work, but actually pulls the stove out, checks the cabinets, etc for signs of activity. Since Tim has been providing my service, I haven't had any internal issues. This new external problem was troubling, and Tim made sure to cover all bases.

Affordable Pest went beyond the bounds of their coupon in the number of times that came to the house. I no longer have voles tunneling in my front yards nor trying to crawl into my lower level but they also won over our hearts in the manner of care and professionalism that they showed us. We have subsequently hired them for our all extermination needs. We found that we had a mouse in the house and they came on the same day to check things out and laid traps and came back for a number of weeks without charging us for the extra visits.

They come out treat the home. They call before they come. We originally called them for spiders and they really take care of everything and we have used them since. They also let me know if there is anything new I need to treat. They are helpful and easy to use.

I last used the services of Affordable Pest LLC in August. I liked the gentleman who came out. He was very knowledgeable. He was very presentable. He was very professional. I am thinking about calling them soon to start getting an annual thing going.

It went well. I did notice a difference in the mosquito population. I would have liked to be notified before each treatment so that I could have removed any vegetables/flowers from the yard that may have been affected.

We are continuing to use them as we can see there service being effective.

We have used more expensive services in the past so were hopeful that at this price the service would be satisfactory. It was, but their scheduling department at least is a little lacking - we had to remind them that service was due on one occasion, and on another it appears they came twice in one week.

We had lots of mouse droppings prior to treatment, and have seen no evidence of mouse activity since he finished the treatment. Overall, I would say it went very well. He was prompt, hard-working, and from what we have seen since, very effective in the treatment he used.

I was extremely pleased with the price and customer service.

The service was good overall. They were quick, did a good job, and provided good advice!

Affordable Pest's serviceman was on time and spent a good deal of time scoping out the problem and treating it. With regular visits, they have got the mouse problem under control, as well as the ants.

The service is quick and efficient. After the treatment the ants were gone, they returned with less intensity later. We signed up for the routine treatment (I believe it is $75 per visit every six months), they returned this week and asked questions about any particular concerns we had, we noted where we had seen ants, they treated inside the house and around the perimeter. The service person was courteous and professional.

The company first searched for the critter, but did not find any. It did leave behind a mess within the attic including insulation, and a broken fan where the critter entered. The company first removed all insulation, then disinfected the attic and then blew in new insulation. They then replaced the fan. They covered the stairs and moved everything in the closet where the opening to the attic was located.

The mosquito repellent worked very well. I could use my yard for the first time in years. My only disappointment was that the application arrived later each subsequent month. I had to phone the last week of the last month to discover when the application would arrive.

He was on time, very knowledgeable, and friendly. And I'm very glad to say that after the 2 treatments from our Angies List deal, we haven't seen any roaches or other bugs! Couldn't be happier, would definitely recommend.

It took me a long time to subscribe to a mosquito service. I hated what I heard about the effects on non-targeted insects. But, despite doing everything we could to control the mosquitos in our yard, we were still overwhelmed by them the moment we set foot out the door. We have small kids and they had significant reactions to the bites. So, when I saw an Angie's List Big Deal for mosquito control services, I broke down. Affordable Pest did exactly what they said they would. We set up a regular visit schedule. They came even when we weren't home and left a note they'd been there. The control was amazing. We could actually use our yard for the first summer in years. I'm definitely going to do this again next year. It was well worth it.

Came about every 5-6 weeks and sprayed. One month it seemed they needed to be reminded but overall, we are very happy with the service. We plan to use them again next year. The price is excellent and the service is good. Overall, a great value and we would recommend them.

4 quarterly pest control treatments inside and outside. On time, professional, good experience. I would use them again.

Overall they did a nice job and we noticed a difference in mosquito population. Several times they did spray one day that rained which required us to call them to come back out. They were very responsive upon contact and made it right but it would be better if they used better judgement in the future before spraying.

I was very pleased with the initial treatment and I contracted. We bought an older home and I was concerned about the possibility of having bugs in the house. It's well worth it, I hate bugs and I can rest assured there are none here. I'm definitely keeping them, and I absolutely recommend them. They're doing an excellent job!

They came out and treated the area, but I have since moved out of the home so did not use the full year. Upon closing on the home, we did find dead mice that had to be taken care of by another company before closing could be completed.

I was satisfied with the work that he done he came another day to see how many roaches the trap caught.

The office staff were very helpful with scheduling and questions, and the technicians who provided the service were also very polite and helpful. I was always given notice when they were coming, they showed up on the dates they specified, and they let me know when they were here that they were going to treat the yard. I was satisfied with their work and will be calling them if we have any indoor pest problems in the future.

Service was good, however, our mosquito problem was not resolved. They did tell me that we only needed to call for additional spraying if necessary.
