Very good. Crew very skilled and professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They even did extra which wasn't part of contract and agreement, but they did it anyway just to do it right with no additional charge to me. Tim the site supervisor and Viki the office manger very nice to work with. Very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Everyone at this company was great! They had an unbeatable price for replacing all the windows in our house. They were super understanding of the time frame we needed things done by and even rushed our window order. I highly reccomend!

I came back a day early from vacation for the appointment. Instead, I found a message on the answering machine that they wanted me to call them to confirm the appointment and have my wife be there too. I was waiting at the scheduled time but they never showed or called. Waste of time and inconsiderate. How can you trust them.

We recently purchased a fairly new townhouse constructed by a quality builder in the Ashburn area. I have taken advantage of Angie's list to bring in various professionals to assess the current condition of the home and have had good results. This was not the case with Adelphia Exteriors, which basically resulted in a total waste of both my time and money. I took the morning off from work so that I could accompany the inspector during his assessment of our attic insulation. The appointment was set for 10:00, which should have provided plenty of time to get completed in the morning and get back to work. After arriving an hour and a half late, the inspector asked me if I had a ladder, which I found odd, then returned to his car to get his. He proceeded to open the hatch in our master bedroom closet, and dumped insulation all over my clothes because he made no preparations to protect anything. I asked him to stop while I grabbed a garbage bag to cover up my clothes, then we went up into the attic. The only tool he brought with him to perform the inspection was a cellphone, which he used as a flashlight. He never moved more than five feet from the hatch even though it was on one side of the townhouse and not the middle, citing the fact that he didn't want to disturb any of the existing insulation. He immediately went into a sales pitch about how we needed the full treatment of additional R19 insulation on top of the R28 we already had, baffles, top hats for lights, and the all important "Air Seal" treatment. He didn't move any insulation to see if this treatment was required, so I proceeded to do so myself. I pointed out that there was sheet metal around the chase for the HVAC duct work, top hats already installed, and baffles along one side of the eaves. These were all easily visible from where we stood. It's a Miller and Smith home, which was built to be energy efficient, so it may even already have the air seal treatment for the wiring, but since it was never checked I may need to go up again and look for myself. During the write-up of the estimate, the inspector explained that it was "All Inclusive" of baffles and top hats, even though they were already installed. When pressed, he gave me a $78 discount from the $928 price since the Angie's List discount was already being applied. I went with Adelphia based on the rave reviews from other customers on both the inspection and the work performed. I feel that I did NOT get what I paid for as far as the inspection goes, instead paying for an estimate that many other companies provide for free. I can't speak to any other work performed since I will not be continuing my relationship with them based on the initial unpleasant experience.

Outstanding from project development, pricing and execution.

Inspector arrived on time and gave a thorough explanation of recommended insulation levels and the update needed my attic. The information he provided was consistent with information I had gathered on my own. The price quoted was significantly lower (about half) than an estimate I'd received from a company I'd found at a Home Show. And there were no high pressure sales tactics. The workers who installed the insulation were very professional and cleaned up all debris.

Exceptionally well. VERY proficient, courteous and careful installers.

They were excellent. Appeared right on time on a Saturday when scheduled. Very neat and explained everything they were doing and showed results when finished. Would definitely recommend them

I received a sales call from Adeliphia asking if I was interested in getting free estimates for home projects, as I had did business with them before. After some discussion and explanation, I agreed to free estimates for installing gutter guards and installation for my attic. The appointments were scheduled for the following week. The day before the appointments, I got a reminder call confirming the date and time. However, on the day of the appointment, no one showed up and no one called to provide an update. So approximately one hour after the scheduled appointment time, I called the office and left a msg. I was later informed that there was a mix up with scheduling. Had I not called them, I would not have known this and would have continue waiting for someone to show up.. To date, no one called me to reschedule or extend an apologize. Absolutely no consideration for my time and that I took 3 1/2 hrs off from work for two appointments.

Very disappointed as they have not reached out to us at all. So this survey is not about their work because we don't know how they performed.

Cool video taken of my attic before job done. Clear explanation of what to expect. Such a clean operation. Felt the effects the very next morning--no more cold bathroom! Competitively price. Did more than the others promised.

I was referred to Adelphia Exteriors by a friend. I could not be happier with the experience I received from the office staff, the estimator, and the crew. The estimator was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and make recommendations. The crew were on time and professional. Work was completed on time as promised. I will use Adelphia Exteriors for future projects.

Tim and George did an amazing job! The work was done quickly and the inslallers left the house cleaner than when they arrived. They are very service driven and walked me through the entire process. All at a very affordable price. I highly recommend Adelphia Exteriors!

It didn't go. The vendor came, told me he didn't think I needed it and offered instead to send me a written summary and estimate via email. He did tell me their consultations are typically $50 and the balance would apply to any other service they would perform. I never received the follow up email or any other proposal, so I essentially paid $149 for $50 in service value. The person I spoke with seemed nice enough, but in my opinion he seemed to be juggling more than he could handle. This happened in 2015 and I provided this information to your Angie's list rep who called for a review so I no longer remember the specific dates.

Quote was provided by George. He answered all my questions and explained all the options fully. They added baffles, foam board to knee walls and attic entry doors and blown insulation with rulers to top up some existing batting insulation and fill in the gaps. Insulation was installed by a two man team. They arrived promptly, were courteous of my family with minimal disruption to our morning routine, did the work efficiently and cleaned up. My only concerns were the work was to include an attic inspection and the installation team just said "everything looks fine" and then secondly, when they came around to do the estimate, on the appointment flyer it said 10% off for first time buyers but this was not applied to my bill. I was, however, provided a discount on the insulation.

Went very well except for one accident that punched a hole in kitchen ceiling. The ceiling repair, like everything else, was handled quickly and expertly and included painting the ceiling.

Great! I also ended up getting additional insulation in the attic and it has made a noticeable difference keeping the house warmer with the frigid temperatures we've had lately (17 degrees!). They were not pushy with the recommendation for more insulation. They took pictures so I could see the status before and after without me having to crawl up the ladder.

George, the salesperson/estimator, was on time, courteous, and very professional. He answered all of my questions, including the ones I had after I had purchased the service. Travis, the technician, and his assistant arrived on time and began work immediately. I live in a row house in Brightwood and my attic has a very tight crawl space. Travis crawled right in, put down rulers and blew in fiberglass insulation while he was still in the attic. The workers also were very courteous and cleaned up after they had finished. George followed up with me after the job was completed. I was very happy with the entire procedure and would recommend this company to others

ALL THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON SCHEDULE. THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE EVERY TIME I HAD A QUESTION OR ADDED ADDITIONAL WORK. WE DID AN INITIAL WALK-THROUGH. THE NEXT TIME I WENT TO THE TOWN HOME THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND WE DID A FINISH UP WALK THROUGH. THEY ALSO POWER WASHED MY DECK AND RE-STAINED IT AT NO ADDITIONAL COST

I contacted ADELPHIA they came out quick to give me an estimate. Was extremely impressed by the estimate so we decided to move forward with them. They did an amazing job painting my house I couldn't be happier!! I would recommend them time and time again!
