+ -1 moreHe provided multiple options to help us make a more informed decision for our unit. We decided to go ahead and replace our system after his full diagnosis. We were having guests coming before he was going to have the opportunity to replace the unit. He offered to add Free on to the unit in the meantime so we would keep cool during the holiday. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Description of Work: He diagnosed our AC unit when other companies were only wanting to replace our unit without providing a full diagnosis.

+ -1 moreThey arrived promptly, were courteous and put booties on their work shoes to protect our floors. (A very thoughtful touch). Herb obviously knows his business and is very meticulous. Everything was accomplished well, is plumb and square and works. Couldn't ask for anything more. As we are new to Fredericksburg its great to meet competent and reliable contractors. We will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: We had a powered home humidifier installed on the HVAC system and also some re-routing of drain pipes. Plus they checked and cleaned the furnace while the doors were off.

Description of Work: Spotsylvania Heating and Air did a great job whether it was working on my personal house or the business that I manage. Herb was great. His price is higher than some but he uses quality parts and workmanship. He use to teach other AC techs in the area to be AC techs

+ -1 moreOur a/c stopped working on a weekend during a major heatwave. On Saturday evening, I checked Angie's list and called the 2 top rated companies in my area that advertised emergency service. My call to one company was answered by an answering machine. My call to Spotsylvania Courthouse Heating and A/C was answered by a very friendly lady who, to my surprise, said a repairman could be at my house the next day around noon and that she would call when he was on his way. She called Sunday morning and the repairman came as promised. He was very friendly and courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor and replaced it. Our system was running again in less that an hour after he arrived. We plan to have this company do our yearly maintenance. Excellent service!!

Description of Work: Herb (Owner) has always performed a flawless installation and/or bi-annual inspection of my Heat/AC system for a number of years. He is always on time, professional and does quality work. This particular service focused on my bi-annual inspection and cleaning and always gives competent worthwhile feedback of my systems and how it is performing. A definite asset to the Spotsylvania area and a breath of fresh air when compared to 95% of the other Heating and A/C companies.

Description of Work: On the recommendation of my neighbor, I contacted the company and purchased a yearly protection/cleaning plan for my a/c and heating. The owners are very personable, attentive and nice to work with. Everything was done in a professional manner.
