GIL CONSTRUCTION

I had a great experience with Jim Elliott of Gil Construction. I chose him because he has done a lot of work for colleagues of mine and was very highly recommended. He was a little hard to get a hold of initially, but once the project started, it went extremely smoothly. My home is 20 years old and the original builder used pine boards for the dormer siding as well as the window sills and trim. We had a terrible problem with dry rot on 9 dormers due to substandard flashing and construction techniques. His team rebuilt all of the dormers, replacing the rotted wood with PVC. The craftsmanship was outstanding and the finished product after repainting was superb. The most important aspect of working with Jim Elliott was that I trusted him and he communicated well regarding how we wanted the job done. His price was not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive of the quotes I received. At the end of the project, I felt that I got what I paid for. I will certainly hire him again for the next job.
