+ -1 moreVery unprofessional and I would absolutely not recommend! Jenny is not a good choice for the representative of your company. If you call her to inquire when they are coming because it’s been a week and no one has showed, she will cancel you work order and wastes a week of your time!

Also, if no updates are provided, Alexander and Sons will return promptly return your calls. We have used Alexander and Sons for almost 2 years and cannot be happier. We are avid supports of small business and cannot be happier with the quality, professionalism, and skill of Alexander and Sons Plumbing!

Description of Work: I was assigned Alexander and Son by my home insurance company. As both my wife and I work, I requested the latest appointment possible on Friday. The latest the could offer was 2-4pm. I gave them both my office phone and my cell phone and requested a call one hour prior to arrival so that I could leave work in time to get home. I left work in time to get home for their arrival but never received a call on my cell phone. They called my office phone multiple times (but I had already left for home). I began calling them an hour into the arrival window and my calls were not answered or returned until after 415p. Since I had left work and not answered the calls on a phone I was not at, the skipped my job that I was sitting at home waiting for. They then told me that the plumber would come the next day (Saturday) between 12-4. The plumber NEVER showed up. No one from the company ever called. I had to take time off from work and waited for 6 hours just to request a different provider from my insurance company. Alexander and Son was nearly impossible to get in touch with and unreliable. | |I highly recommend finding a different plumber

+ -1 moreIt should be noted that the $35 charge was for extra parts we needed. It was not the full cost of the job (which I paid via a granite counter top installer who contracted with Alexander & Son's Plumbing for their plumbing installation needs; in other words, I paid this plumber but I'm not sure how much for the whole job). A very pleasant and competent, hard-working man who arrived late in the day (well after 5pm) for which he was not paid extra.
Description of Work: Tony Alexander Installed plumbing for a new sink and replaced a hot-water turn-off that had gone bad.

+ 0 moreFor us it was free, because it was part of our home warranty. They were great. They were as good, or better than other plumbing services I have used, probably better. They were really good. They came right out.
Description of Work: We have used Alexander and Sons for plumbing. We were having some trouble with our water. They came and checked our water pressure and then on a separate visit they came and checked our water heater, because we were having some issues.

+ -1 moreThis is a fantastic company with excellent customer service! The owner came out the day I called him, which was the day before Thanksgiving. He determined I needed a new water heater and came back first thing Friday to install it. My new water heater was then leaking due to pressure issues, and he came back out again the same day that I called him to fix it. He explained everything that was wrong to me and instead of just using abbreviations he explained it so I could understand it, since I don't know anything about water heaters. The reason my spending price is so low is because this was covered under my home warranty. However, that doesn't change the fact that this company has fast service, and was very friendly and polite. Excellent experience all around.
