Description of Work: Iuse Grelen to trim trees and for landscaping fertilization and care. They come once month and are observant and cautious. I sis not know the deer were destroying trees in a far field and without a consultation they wrapped the trees to prevent further damage. I was surprised when I saw the trees with the wraps but so happy that they did not delay. They have saved boxwoods and laurels from disease and pests as well as many other services.

+ 1 moreFor both projects, we were impressed by the quality of the work and the professionalism of the workers. For the larger landscaping project, the team worked tirelessly for many days, even coming some Saturdays as necessary to keep things moving forward. For the spring clean-up, due to some time constraints on our end, they had two teams come in a single day and pretty much transformed all the beds around our house - it looked fantastic by the end of the day. They are not cheap, but not the most expensive either. But they do high quality, timely work, and Zeke is great to deal with.
Description of Work: We have used Grelen on two different occasions. In 2006 or so, they were the main contractor for a large backyard landscaping project, involving installation of a new patio using rectangular bluestone as well as gently curving rock walls. As part of that, they cleared part of our wooded lot, leveled it, and put in a lawn. More recently, they did some spring yard "cleanup" work for us, involving weeding, pruning, and mulching.

+ 0 moreThey are expensive, but I feel like I get what I pay for. They’ll guarantee the plants, installation for a year. They’ve replaced trees which I’ve done before with no problems.
Description of Work: I’ve purchased trees and bushes from them, which they’ve planted. They’ve also done some stonework for me (landscaping patio, path).
