+ -1 moreThey came out twice to fix the same problem and after that I demanded a new service crew that knew what they where doing. They would purchase parts before even troubleshooting the problem and keep charging the warranty company without ever fixing the problem.

+ -1 moreThey came out, cleaned it thoroughly, but had doubts about one of the fans and warned me they might have to come out and replace it but if so they would only charge for the part and not a service call. The spent an hour the 1st visit and 20 minutes the 2nd, very professional and did the job. Because they come all the way from Smithfield it was a bit expensive but good work is worth it.
Description of Work: Trouble with our 7-yr old Sony rear projection TV, the one with trouble due to a lamp that kept burning out every year or two---and Sony stopped making them. This Smithfield company knows how to fix all Sonys and did an excellent job cleaning the inside of the TV and the 5 fans that keep that lamp cool. They are very honest, told me that when the lamp goes out next time, the lamp cost has dropped to under $100 (used to be $250) and I could replace it myself rather than calling them out from Smithfield for a service charge.
