Didn't show up to scheduled appointment to give an estimate. Did not call to explain why.

Excellent work done on our steps… Railings were custom made by Jeff….He was very professional and honest and the job was done in a timely matter and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend him for any jobs with making custom made railings and any kind of concrete work.

Jeff did a great job for a reasonable price. He is very experienced and extremely honest. He also did a great job cleaning up the work area after completing the project. Would highly recommend & would have him do work again. Super!

Provided a description of work to desired and requested a quote on 5/10/21. Never heard back. Phone today 5/19 - no answer & no answering machine. Very disappointing.

Jeff was prompt in returning the initial call. He was knowledgeable about how to resolve the problem and was careful to make sure all work was to our satisfaction. Final cost was very close to his estimate.

Our chimney had a serious water leak into the fireplace, and none of the local chimney folks seemed to know how to deal with it. But Jeff came by, quickly diagnosed the problem, took apart the top of our chimney, and put it back together again. We've had several heavy rains since and ... no leaks! Jeff was responsible, friendly, and professional. He left the site clean of the debris, and with a chimney that looks better from the outside than it did before. We would definitely use him again for other masonry work.

J&D Masonry transformed our aging front entry porch, two sets of steps, and serpentine walkway from flagstone/concrete to a gorgeous all-brick showcase. He also designed, fabricated and installed new iron railing pairs for the porch and both step sets, having taken meticulous angle measurements of the old ones. The custom handrails and pickets are an exhibit of top notch welding and are anchored quite securely. In its precision and detail, the brickwork has been described by other contractors as seriously impressive. Neighbors and passersby have stopped by to give their compliments, some asking for his contact information. In the beginning, he carefully assessed and shared his vision of the finished work, and the estimated costs. In the end, the bill was below his estimate. You’ll find none better to deal with as well. Jeff is personable, hardworking, and true to his word.

They were prompt , professional and honest. After assessing the damage he said that it was not necessary to repair- I appreciated his honesty in Not trying to charge for unnecessary repairs. We do plan to hire him for other work next Spring.

His work was excellent! There were rain delays completely out of his control and he stayed with the job until it was completely done. I really feel like Jeff went above and beyond to get the job done and to leave the yard looking BETTER than it did when he started! I DO plan to hire him again! Highly recommend!

Had a phone conversation about the project made an appointment for them to see, assess and provide quote...no show no call nothing. Unprofessional.

Looked at issue and said in his judgment wait to make sure not a growing issue first so we don't pay for repair twice. Very nice and helpful.

7 weeks and still waiting.... needed a new pour sidewalk to ADA standards....12 mto 1 inch pitch as well as wrought handrail again to ADA standards...Have not been able to get job started still...told again he would start the the of Nov. 7...we will see...if not, I do not want to use him

Jeff and his team were easy to work with and did great quality work. We will look to them for any future railing or masonry project.

Fantastic honesty! I called J and D Masonry for an estimate and they came out same day! Jeff was very honest about the work and was able to inform me that what I was looking to have done wasn't needed. I have some basement walls that are starting to crumble some. Jeff informed me they still had great integrity and if he were to come in and coat the walls in more cement it would just be an aesthetic band-aid. I was looking to have the walls recoated in cement to make sure that paint would adhere to the walls to make the basement look nicer. He said it was not needed and said he was happy to come out if I ran into problems painting but recommended I go ahead and paint the walls. Fantastic honesty and I would be happy to do business with him in the future!

Jeff was professional, very knowledgeable and an expert in his field. one of the best masons we have ever met. He made commitments to the project and fulfilled all of them. we could not be happier with his work. we would highly recommend Jeff to anyone.

Everything went really well. I had some additional work done that needed to be done last minute and they were really obliging and understanding. Really great people to work with. His Subcontractor earth moving guy was also excellent and worked hand in hand with Jeff and his crew. He ended up doing a driveway for me in addition to the building.

Jeff's work was great. Wall built and tied in with existing wall. They did a very good job of cleaning up after the job was completed. Definitely would use him again.

Jeff and his crew arrived on time. Jeff quickly assessed the job and gave me an estimate. This was a very small job and more cosmetic than structural. They repaired 2 bricks and motor that had fallen out under the threshold of the back door. I was very pleased with their work and the end result. Jeff and crew were professional and pleasant. I would definitely recommend/use them again.

So pleased and impressed with the job Jeff and his crew did. The brickwork matches beautifully and the new stone wall makes a stunning focal point. The crew was pleasant to work with, always cleaned up at the end of the day, and checked every step of the way to make sure the job fit with our vision. They take great pride and are very skilled at their craft. Would hire again in a heartbeat!

The job presented a few surprises, but Jeff addressed the problems, and worked with us to find good solutions based on his experience in the field. Overall, the structure was built extremely well, and much much stronger than what was replaced, or what I thought was planned. Jeff is a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend his company for any of your masonry work. I will be using him again in the future.

Jeff Dame was excellent. He and his team were on time and completed the work in the time frame he stated. The cost was reasonable and the final bill was actually less than the estimate. He is very honest. The work quality was excellent.

Though he weren't able to help me because of the distance, he was helpful in trying to find me a local mason.

Jeff came out quickly after receiving our call to give us an estimate. It took a while to get the job started because of previously scheduled chimney cap replacements. Jeff was getting ready to go on vacation so he sent a couple of fellows who work for him. They came as scheduled, were very (but not overly) friendly and respectful. They worked hard and we're careful making the slab - asking questions about how we would like certain things and then did it. A super job was done which solved our water problems. Thank you!

It's easy to get nervous when hiring somebody to fix something that you have no idea how to fix, personally. There's always the fear that you might get taken to the cleaners with unnecessary repairs. This was never an issue with Jeff. He helped explain a few of our concerns about basement leaks and gave us DIY, cost-effective solutions when he could. He let us know which projects he could do and which were not his specialty. Although we didn't end up needing his help for this problem, his honesty and expertise were very much appreciated. We'll be recommending him to neighbors and friends.
