Very well. Came the day after I called, called ahead of time and arrived on time. Very professional. Repaired 5 faucets.

Clay was able to come the day after I called. He called 30 minutes before arrival and did the repairs quickly and professionally. The price was very reasonable.

I've had Clay out numerous times for various projects. He is always incredibly prompt and quick. Pricing is very fair as well. Years ago, I had to have a main water line replaced and his company did the work for by far the lowest cost.

Made appointment, called to say on the way and arrived early for appointment with needed supplies and tools. Took less than half a day to complete all. Everything left cleaned up and all trash (including a box that wasn't from plumbing repair) taken off premises. Very prompt and professional service. Would contact for future plumbing needs.

It went very well. The gentleman they sent out to do the work was excellent, friendly, and provided quick service.

I regret I am a little belated in submitting this review - however.. I previously, on 2/8/2013, called Clay to help me out with a persistently leaking toilet, the result of two plumbers apparently not knowing what they were doing. The first one had cracked the flange and the second one, who did not diagnose the problem, recommended I buy a new toilet, which he installed that continued to leak at the base !! I got Clay's company name off Angie's list. Clay responded to my 'phone call immediately, set up an appointment, came out and identified the problem, repaired/resolved it, and I have not had a problem since, (cost for that was $139.45). As a consequence I called him when a toilet in another bathroom went sour, (on 12/5/2013). As the toilet needed replacement due to age, he picked up a Toto brand toilet, installed it and I have had no problem since. The cost of service ($375), included the toilet and installation. At this point, due to unexpected expenses, I have been unable to schedule replacement of a shower - but, when I am able to undertake this, I would not consider anyone else for the job. Clay is well qualified, knows what he is doing and as a consequence is efficient, in addition to being totally reliable, professional and, above all, honest in his cost of service.

The gas hot water heater in our rental house was not staying lit. The house was built in 1995, and this is the original heater. They responded to my call promptly, arrived on time for the job and completed it in a few hours after having to go purchase a part. I was worried the unit would have to be replaced at a high cost, but all it needed was one part and the ventilation pipe repositioned. I would definitely use them again.

We created a very stubborn clog during Thanksgiving meal prep. Clay and team did a wonderful job of getting everything cleared out (and there was a lot of it) and repair some piping in the process. There was a good bit of mess that was well-controled and everything was cleaned up afterward. I had experience with Clay's dad in the past and was very glad to see him continue the business with such quality.

Went very well. Clay arrived with his assistant at approx noon, which was when he said he would be there. Worked quickly without rushing, didn't make a mess and got the job done. Would use him again for plumbing. I like that his is a long time, local, family owned business and the owner makes the service calls.

It was fine. I would use them again.

Clay met us at 6:30 on a Friday night and fixed several plumbing and hot water problems. He was efficient, polite, and did a great job. Would definitely use him again. Reasonable pricing as well.

It went great and we had no problems. The only problems we've had were of our own doing. We bought faucets we liked and they installed them but told us they didn't like that brand as they have more troubles out of them, which has been true. Lesson learned. I either will use what they carry or call and ask twhat hey recommend next time.

My hot water was slowly losing pressure, which I traced back to the hot water heater. As it turns out the unit was 28 years old. I called Family Plumbing and Heating on Tuesday morning and left a message. I received a call back within an hour and spoke with Clay about the problem with the hwh. He said he was working on a project that could take the entire day; if it didn't he could get to my job first thing Wednesday morning or as early as Tuesday afternoon if the other job didn't take as long. He said he would call me later in the day to let me know what his status was. He did call me in the early afternoon and said he would finish up and have time to install my hot water heater. He showed up around 3:15 and was finished by 5 pm. He did a great job. As far as the hwh that he installed, it was a Rheem, which was perfect as that was the brand I wanted after doing some research about hwhs. As it turns out, it was the exact model that I had decided on. I know that you can get cheaper hwh at the big box stores, but based on reviews I had read, I wanted to go with the Rheem. I plan on having him back to do some additional work on a few plumbing issues around the house.

We purchased a home in late August with two gas fired water heaters located in the basement. They appeared to be working properly when the home inspection was perfomed but not long after we moved in the water they provided got colder and colder until they appeared to stop working all together. One of them appeared to be fairly old (21 as it turned out) so we assumed it had reached the end of its life and, after checking Angie's List, contacted Family Plumbing & Heating to get a price for replacing them both with one high efficiency unit. Instead of taking advantage of our willingness to throw the old units away, they inspected them, diagnosed the problem as a defective thermostat on the older one and explained in detail why the water was cold even though the second heater was working properly. They offered to give us a price to replace them as requested but said they'd likely be okay for a few more years since the newer one was only 6 years old and the elements in both were in good condition. We opted to just replace the bad thermostat for now and will definitely be contacting Family Plumbing & Heating for our future plumbing related needs.

.He worked from the time he got there until he left. He explained what was going on and what was needed. I am very pleased and will get him to replace kitchen faucets in the future.

It was a wonderful experience with Clay and Family Plumbing and Heating! He solved an ongoing problem for us that no one else had succeeded in doing. We have had several other plumbers in who failed to notice or didn't have the knowledge to realize that the drain did not have a vent. Clay also suggested that we remove the garbage disposal since the property is rented to students, and garbage disposals can result in frequent plumber calls and bills. We had him do that as well. Much appreciated!!!

Clay and an assistant came out the same day I called. He replaced all the old drain piping under the kitchen sink and was out in less than hour. The new piping and connections appear much more sound than before. They were friendly, professional, and charged a fair price. They will be the ones I call first for any future plumbing work.
