Couldn’t have hired a more professional or knowledgeable person for the job. I thought I had purchased all the supplies needed for the job but was missing a couple very important items. Mike happened to have them on his trailer and didn’t hesitate to offer them for my lawn. He is a hard worker and knows exactly what he is doing. I recommend him 1000%!

Mike was a good communicator; showed up when he said he would; did everything he said he would in the time he said it would take; did an excellent job with everything, and did it all for a fair price. Mike was great to work with and I'm happy to recommend his services!

Mike was terrific to work with. He responded promptly, gave me a bid for the work, and set a timeline. When he came to do the work, he was prepared and got the job done quickly. The plant selection was terrific--what I asked for and a few other great suggestions. As always, some plants dont make it, and he has been quick to replace. Mike does what he says he's going to do--in today's world, that's all you can ask for.

Mike was great! He talked thru our options, suggested a couple things I wouldn't have thought of, and did excellent, careful work. I thought his rates were very reasonable, and he is a good guy to work with. I would definitely hire him again.

Mike did an outstanding job. His work is beautiful.. We are very pleased with our new patio area. He was very attentive to our needs, and works neatly.

Mike Pickwoad was referred to us by a neighbor and promptly returned our initial call, following up with a home visit answering all of our questions. He showed up on the agreed upon date and did an outstanding job mulching and landscaping the property. We are going to continue using Mike and would (and have) recommended him to anyone needing landscaping/planting services.

If you need somebody to so the job right, call Mike. He came to do the estimate when he said he would, gave us an accurate estimate, did the work when he said he would, and did it very, very well. We are selling our home and Mike transformed the yard from something nice to a showplace. I'd hire him again in an instant.

Mike is fantastic. He was very responsive to our inquiries. Great communication, just a lovely guy. He was great with my kids too, let the 4 yo "help" him with moving gravel. We would absolutely hire him again.

I have nice lawn guys but they did not know a hydrangea from an azalea. I really needed help with cleaning things up by someone who knows landscaping. Mike and his team have helped me several times with general clean up. They removed dying juniper bushes and added mulch. They cleaned up the numerous weeds and vines under my cedar trees. They split some decorative grasses and planted to fill out an area for me. My yard looks great! I'm happy and neighbors happy too! Mike is also just a very kind level headed guy. He is not out to do work that doesn't need to be done. I enjoy chatting with him. He's interesting and trustworthy.

Mike and his assistant Bruce did an excellent job removing overgrowth and weeds from the back of our yard and advising us about our trees. Money well spent! Mike is a pro and knows what grows well in our area. Can't wait to see how he transforms our yard this spring.

Mike's price was very good and work was great. We have hills and areas that are difficult to reach but he had no problem. He took less time (less cost) than he estimated and he and his helper were very pleasant, punctual, and efficient. He will mulch the areas soon and we will plant this fall.

I have called and texted this gentleman 4 times over a period of 2 weeks without a response. I hope he is still alive !

First of all...try contacting a landscaper in our region in the spring. Impossible. Mike promptly answered my phone calls and texts. He arrived on time for the free estimate of the job which was a more than reasonable bid for repairing some paths and retaining walls with treated lumber. His work showed me Mike is an experienced, inventive craftsman. The paths have never looked better. I highly recommend Mike for any tree work, gardening or landscaping project. He's a pro...knowledgeable, friendly, prompt.

Extremely well. This is the second time Mike has worked in my yard and both times he and Bruce have done a wonderful job. In addition to being an excellent landscaper, Mike is calm, diplomatic and kind. Will definitely hire again.

This is the second time I have used Mike for landscaping work. The first time I got estimates from a number of landscapers, and Mike was what I considered to be the fairest (also the lowest cost). The first experience with Mike was great. He did great work, is conscientious, and went the extra mile on the first job which was for $2500. I decided to hire Mike again and was very happy with the results.

Very very well. Michael Pickwoad came up with the river stone solution to my problem. Mud bog that was making my dogs perpetually filthy. I originally sought an estimate for artificial turf. Great job at a fair price, done promptly and professionally. I had a life-long friend with a similar dog/mud problem look at my yard; she hired Michael and he did her job today (2/28/19)/

The amount and quality of work done by Mike and his additional worker was everything we could've hoped for and more. Before Mike rescued our driveway, it was in bad shape - completely washed out (12" deep hole in one spot) along with terrible drainage, there were dips, it was uneven, grassy middle strip...the list goes on and on. He dug a perfect trench along the driveway and filled it with rip rap, we needed 40 tons of gravel to repair the driveway, a new trench dug at the top of the driveway, etc. etc. they even cut back limbs and probably a whole lot more that I probably don't even realize...it just looks great! He was incredibly fair, straight-forward and did an exceptional job. We made a few changes along the way and he took it in stride and made it work like it was originally part of the plan. You will not be disappointed hiring Mike or anyone he works with. Couldn't have been nicer or more professional. My husband and I will absolutely be hiring him again for more work on our property.

Mike is great! I chose him because he was highly recommended on Angie's List and all the reviews proved to be right. He was very responsive and got our work quoted, scheduled and completed in no time. Our yard and house look so much nicer without all the weeds and bushes taking over. He definitely paid extra attention to the details. It was a pleasure working with him and I definitely intend on working with Mike in the future!

Mike and his staff were awesome. This was a big, overwhelming job, and they made it look easy. They were punctual, easy to work with and reasonably priced. Really great experience.

It was delightful working with Mike. He responded to my initial inquiry promptly and came out within days to look at and estimate the job. He offered several solutions to our drainage/erosion problem. He answered our endless questions patiently and professionally. Basically everything he said happened. Which is pretty refreshing. He started the project, arrived when he said he would finished as planned. He and Bruce were quite neat and organized during the process, it was impressive. Mike goes above and beyond in his workmanship he just knows the right thing to do and we really appreciate the extra care he gave to our home. He seeded part of our yard that used to be a gravel driveway and it looks amazing! I highly recommend Mike, wouldn’t consider anyone else.

Had a huge mudslide. Excavators did the dirt and I needed to landscape the hill. Maintained by Mike is one of the best landscapers I have ever hired. Hard working men (even in the terrible heat), using the right plants, the best seeds, the straw blankets and sod. Even in the heat the grass is growing, the sod and the bushes are green and my mudslide does NOT look like I had a mudslide. Would definitely use Maintained by Mike again. Thank you Michael.

Michael was very responsive every time we corresponded. And, Michael & Bruce did exactly what we asked. We had a little follow up work and Michael did that as well with no hesitation. He was great, professional, and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

Michael did a great job. The ground is clay and rock so not an easy task. We would definitely call him again for landscape help.
