+ 0 moreHe did not call back or ever do the work that was scheduled. If something had come up or he just wanted to change the date or anything I would have understood. BUT that was not the case......he was very unprofessional ......stay away from him
Description of Work: I called Lewis and he quickly returned my call and we arranged for him to come to my home to give me an estimate. He came on time and was very professional and personable. He gave me an estimate for 3 rooms + ceilings. It was very good and we determined a date for the work to be done. I asked him to mail me a contract and that I would see him on the 20th of May. He said that he was licensed and insured. We shook hands and agreed on every detail of the job, price, time etc. I never heard from him again...I called after several days and left message after message. He never responded back and never came to do the work.

+ -1 moreThe owner came to the house at the set time, was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. We agreed on a price and the date for the work to be performed. .He wrote a proposal. However, when I called later that evening and left a message asking for a copy of insurance and business license to be faxed over, I received no return call. I assume that's because he didn't have any, but I called back a second time and left a message to return my call. Needless to say, I never heard back from him and the work was not performed. Does Angie's List check license and insurance info on a yearly basis? I assumed because it was stated under his info he had these things that it was true.

Description of Work: He has painted the better part of our house and he's repaired drywall. He has installed lights. He is repairing rotten wood, etc.

+ -1 moreHe was just a joy to have in my home.. From the estimate to meeting him and having him do a professional job at my home. He really went above and beyond his call of duty for me.
Description of Work: Lewis came to give me a Free Estimate, and I was so pleased; he was a very pleasant young man. I had Lewis repaint my whole home. Walls, trim, and ceilings in all of the rooms in my house. He didn't even take a break. My home is so beautiful now. He moved my furniture, vacuumed underneath for me before replacing the furniture. He took my curtains down (I even washed them over night and he replaced them for me the next day). God Bless him! What a wonderful young man! My house is beautiful again....
