WINDOW WORLD OF ROANOKE

Unfortunately, we were told they would not come since we only had 1 window (at this time) with problems, but they had a two window minimum. What happened to the old days when companies were hungry for business? If 1 window needs to be replaced, doesn't it make since that others (dues to age) will follow and would we not call them back if they did a good job?

They are good provider. There was a crack in one window but they sent someone out to repair it right away.

The two Window World of Roanoke installers came early and they were very polite. We went over the plan of attack and covered everything that needed to be done. Through it all they were their for me through the whole process. The owner did a walk through after it was said and done and then someone called to make sure everything went well. It was a great experience. I would recommend them to anybody looking for windows at the best cost.

Windows were installed when scheduled. The workers did a good job on the installation and left the room clean when finished. Everything was very professionally done.

Installation went well and team was finished and yard cleaned up in one day. Pleased with result.

They've been excellent. We would do four or five windows and they would come back and do four or five more. The work was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. I'm going to use them again.

The men showed up on time, cleaned up all their mess and were very professional.

As stated above, some of the window trims were not completed initially as we would have liked and a window adjustment needed to be made. All of these things were taken care of promptly. The owner even found a slight scratch on one of the windows when he came over that we had not even noticed. He reordered a replacement and had it reinstalled. The work crew was very nice and willing to come back and redo the trim work that had been difficult to do on the very cold morning they had initially come. The windows were replacing very old wooden framed windows in a brick home and were a little tricky to trim out. The crew came back and totally retrimmed them the way we thought would look best. They look great and we are very happy with them. We plan to have them return to do some additional facial trim work under the gutters to cover the original boards.

Great. I was worried at first when only one man should up, but he had the job done quickly. He also cleaned up after himself. Windows work and look great.

OVERALL GREAT!! THERE WERE A FEW SLIGHT ISSUES. THE SLIDING PANEL OF THE DOOR HAD SOME DEFECTS. I CALLED WINDOW WORLD AND THEY ORDERED A NEW PANEL, INSTALLED IT WITH NO HASSLES OR PROBLEMS. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, AND TRUSTWORTHY. I DEFINITELY WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. THEY ARE THE TYPE OF COMPANY WILL WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE SURE THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT.

The workers arrived promptly. They did an excellent job taking out the old and installing the new windows. They accomplished the task in one hour. It was amazing to watch how efficient the crew was. No mess at all. Eveything is perfect. I would definitely recomment these people to anyone who wants efficient work, courteous people and a total clean-up when done. They were wonderful!

An unbelievable nightmare. The contractor ruined my brand new ridge caps by walking on them. Dented and bent the fan units to my brand new HVAC units by using them as a ladder. Smoked cigarettes and threw the butts all over the yard. Last but certainly not least, lifted a window to unlock the door to my daughters apartment to gain access(essentially breaking and entering) and broke the bathroom door off its hinges. I contacted WW and Mark came, took pictures and told me all would be corrected immediately. By the way, the new gutters all leaked. This was April 9, 2013. As of this date -July 3, 2013- nothing has been done. NOTHING. I called to speak with the owner and the receptionist couldn't have cared less for my problem. Don't do business with Window World. One last thing, an antique pendant light was broken, I was assured a reasonable replacement would be paid for but again, I'm the one who paid for this, not Window World.

Very fast and efficient. Price was fair and at the time Window World was one of the more reasonably priced. Salesm tried to upsell but we stuck to the budget. Would use them again. Cleaned up everything and we were pleased with the results.

Let me just give you the total breakdown of how everything went down. Salesman was really good. He came out and did a wonderful job of selling the product and showing all the great things about the windows themselves. He wanted me to make a choice right there and I said I wanted more time and he started coming down on price. I would rather them just be honest from the start and give me a the cost of them and not play the car salesman's game. I ordered after getting about 10% lower and it was a 2 month wait until they arrived. Once they arrived, the install crew showed up and they were awesome! Like really really good. As this story progresses, these guys were the only reason professionalism gets above an F. They did a really good job of clean up both inside and out. That said, they removed a window and then found that 3 of the 11 ordered were nearly two feet two large. So they patched it up with a sheet of plywood for the two week wait for a new window. Additionally, I was to receive a new sash as one was damaged in shipping. No questions asked and they did an amazing job at not damaging walls and such. After a weeks time, I had to be the one to call WW and ask what was up with my windows. Were they ordered and when would they arrive? They were very disorganized and the gentleman I talked to was unprofessional. Alas they came in and I was told the install crew would be there at 8am... They arrived at 11am. I called at 830 and somehow things didn't get passed along. But once here, they installed the remaining window in no time and when I asked where my new sash is. Low and behold, it was never ordered. I called and talked to the owner of this franchise and he apologized for how terrible his company has done and offered me a BWW gift card for my hassle. It was supposed to be delivered with the sash yet another two weeks later when it came in but when I got home after work, there was only a replacement sash sitting at my door. I'm sure it also just got lost in the mail. Strike 3, right from the top. The entire process was exhausting. Don't get me wrong, the products themselves are really nice and they insulate great. I'm just not sure if it's worth all the hassle I went through to get them. If I could go back in time, I would find another company to purchase my windows from. I feel confident that you can find windows having equal features for the same buck and support a company with good customer support. It's word of mouth that brought me to this company and I hope it's word of mouth that will help you support another organization that still has what it takes when things go wrong with your order.

Our experience with Window World was fine. The windows were fine. Our neighbor also got some through somebody else, they paid a little bit less and I honestly think that they were just as good as the windows we got. It was a little bit confusing. He did a demonstration and showed us the windows but then to get those windows we would have to upgrade. They were nice. They got in pretty close to where they said they would. The installers were really good and nice. They were easy to work with. They were clean and they went little bit above and beyond. In terms of price, it's hard, I did check the prices around and I knew I could get it for little bit cheaper from someone else. The reason I did not go with them was because they were just installing another company's windows. With Window World, atleast I knew if I had a problem I felt like they would be around for a while. Although they were a little bit higher in price that was the reason I went with them. I would use their services again in the future.

We are pleased with the windows and doors, and I'm sure they have saved us money on heating and cooling. They are attractive (we chose the matching grids) and very easy to clean. A few days ago the deadlock on the front door jammed and the key would not open the door. After a call, a locksmith fellow from Window World came out and replaced the lock at no charge. It had been almost a year since the door was installed. They stand behind their work.

A very positive experience! Sales person was a little late in arriving for the estimate, but he called to let us know and knocked a little off the final price. Window installation included cutting out old metal windows that were installed into the mortar, building new window facings and installing windows. Installers were prompt and professional, doing an excellent job and cleaning up behind themselves. We were also pleased with the quality of the windows, window options and warranty.

Sub par work was performed. 3 windows installed incorrectly and it took 2 months of calls and letters to the corporate office before they would come out and look at the problems. Once they saw the errors they fixed them. Since the work was completed I have remodeled several rooms. In doing so I have discovered that 2 window sills that I paid to have replaced were not replaced and the windows were not insulated properly. The salesman is smooth and the price good. But you don't even get what you pay for. I would not use or recommend them.

Their price was the most competitive bid we received.
