Professional Inspector (Chris Yi) did a great job pointing out all the problems, had a professional presentation/solution. Team that did installation/encapsulation of my crawlspace did a great job, courteous, quick cleanup, wasted no time. The solution fixed the dampness problem. I am sure you can pay less but you get less. This was first class work, fixed my problem, and the crawl space looks great now. Moisture percent went from 88% to now an average of 47%. NO MOLD!!!!

From the inception of my project to its completion,my experience with JES was exceptional.The estimator,Jake Perkins,was very pleasant, professional,and educational.It took about one minute to understand the benefits of preserving this property. About two weeks later the crew of Bobby,Josh,and Andrew arrived,and I knew when their feet hit the ground that I had made the correct decision.Upon the projects completion,the crew did not leave until all my many questions were answered fully.Because of this tremendous experience,I have spread the JES story to anyone who would listen.I was a prospect,next a customer,and now a very enthusiastic advocate......!!!!

JES was an excellent contractor to work with. Very professional, and the Customer Service Representative (Karen) was most helpful. She responded to questions and was the key to a successful repair. I was having a crawl space cleaned and new moisture barrier put down as well as new insulation installed. I subsequently had a new HVAC installed and all of the contractors who bid on that job felt JES was the best you could get. They are a bit expensive, but if you want the job done right call them.

This was the worst home repair experience I've ever had. I can't speak to the engineering, but the customer service was abysmal. They kept giving us different stories about what needed to be done. The office downright lied to me about having called me about a date. On the date that was set, they showed up, then went home. A few weeks later, they did the job including uprooting plants (they promised they wouldn't), smashing bird baths, trampling lights and irrigation heads. A move and six out-of-state trips had to be rearranged due to their failure to keep to their own schedule. We are still waiting for them to finish work they promised to do...and they are not returning our calls.

JES personnel from start to finish have been great; on time, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The initial inspection was thorough, the options were explained well, the presentation of JES services was done well and even if they were considerably more expensive I chose them anyway. I knew what I was getting, the amount of remediation was more than another vendor had offered, and they showed me I had more problems that the first vendor had because of a more thorough inspection. I felt that this was their area of expertise and I was getting the most for my money. It is after all my home and I want it to last a long time without structural issues. The actual crew that did the work was outstanding. They did a tremendous amount of work in a short time, did not waste any time, and the quality of the work is outstanding. My nasty looking crawl space is now clean, safe looking and in less than 24 hrs the humidity had gone down to very low levels and will only improve over time. I would recommend looking at their offerings as my completed project looks just like their advertising materials. You now how a sandwich looks one way - appealing in a menu or on a marque and then what you get looks like it has been dropped 3 times? Well the work they portray in their brochures and their work at my home looked just the same. Great project! 5 Stars.

The project of installing a surface drainage system (Trench Drain) was a total failure. The drain was so poorly installed that water would divert around and under it and into the house foundation. Complaints were ignored and did not yield any satisfaction to date. I may have to have another contractor reinstall the system.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT HIRE JES CONSTRUCTION LLC! On 6 Aug 16, we met with a JES representative & signed an $8435.00 contract for 2 jobs, Polymer Fill beneath the garage floor & CarbonArmor strapping for the resulting tilt of the affiliated basement wall. Required down payment of $1687.00 paid & within six days both jobs scheduled for 16 & 22 Sep respectively. Since then pretty much nothing has occurred as stated or scheduled. Having kept a log of events, some examples of JES poor job management, poor communication & poor customer service include – 1. 1st CarbonArmor appointment required rescheduling due to JES not having obtained necessary permits 2. rescheduled CarbonArmor job left incomplete due to not having the necessary equipment or expertise to access all required strapping areas, known to JES in advance, after cutting a 3 x 2 hole in hallway wall 3. being notified on day of scheduled appointment of personnel non-availability 4. personnel calling on a scheduled day to arrive late 5. not receiving promised update calls & only obtaining status of uncompleted CarbonArmor job via PolyFill inspector who called while on property 6. failed 1st scheduled inspection of the CarbonArmor job by the JES subcontracted 3rd party certified inspectors due to JES not meeting their own engineering requirements 7. 3 requests by phone & email for final payments of non-completed jobs 8. personnel arriving & waiting on premise for unscheduled appointments; notified by voicemail upon arrival home from work, & a 2nd time after notifying JES that no one would be available during a defined period 9. after reminding JES that we would no longer coordinate with the scheduler we were referred to another individual who would contact us only to find several weeks later, when we contacted him, that he was not aware of any issues; & has since quit 10. 2nd failed inspection of the CarbonArmor job due to no changes from originally noted issues; no communication between JES and inspector to discuss possible acceptance of current job, only a request to re-inspect; no JES employee had ever returned to the property to make any corrections since 1st failure. On 6 Feb, we were forced to cancel & reschedule our hoped for last appointment of 8 Feb due to work considerations. We were told the replacement employee or General Manager would return the call. No communication received until the General Manager responded to our refusal to pay the 3rd final payment request for an incomplete job on 7 Mar. She offered 25 Mar as a possible date but already schedule travel did not allow it. On 24 Mar JES called to verify yet another unscheduled appointment. On 29 Mar an email with an attached letter explaining our frustration was sent to management level employees, the 3rd party inspector & salesman. The salesman responded within 30 minutes stating that he was unaware of any issues besides those mentioned in the phone messages we left over the previous

I couldn't be happier with our end product. The entire process was easy! Christian Martin came out and did a very detailed inspection of our crawl space, took tons of pics then sat down with us to go over everything he found. He was very honest in the fact our space wasn't bad at all. There were minor issues but nothing that was extreme. He went over every product and each warranty and made us feel comfortable with each product and going with JES. We were told it could be up to 5 weeks out but to our surprise we got a phone call and they could fit us in within the next week! It took them no time to get everything done! The foreman, Cameron was great to deal with. All of the workers were very respectful and polite. They had to come into our home and thru our master bedroom to get to the opening and they did everything to make sure there was no dirt or mess thru our home. I would recommend JES for anyone needing any work!! We couldn't be happier! Thanks so much!

Scheduled service for encapsulating crawl space 1 month ago and they have yet to complete. I was given a scheduled time frame of 3 days. Left large packet of materials on lawn for > 1 week which in turn killed all the grass as well as, broke and removed porch skirting panels which remain unattached. Unacceptable, unreasonable time management, inadequate person to person communication among their crew members to accommodate my professional capacity due to their initial cancellation. As for the quality of service that is yet to be determined...

The work did not fix the issue. Was told I would hear back from them to reschedule and go with a different procedure, but had to call them back a week after they were supposed to contact me. Got a voice mail after that telling me they wilk be back on May 10th...no other communication since then.
