Nathaniel of JES was extremely helpful and courteous. He inspected my sagging floor joists (my house is 100 years old) and told me my beams were fine and that jacking it up would do more harm than good. Very refreshing to find an honest contractor who won't recommend things you don't need!

I haired JES to encapsulate my three separate crawl spaces under my house. It was a tedious job, but the three gentlemen from the Salem, VA office were dependable hard workers, friendly and well-mannered, and most importantly, were knowledgeable and experienced at encapsulating crawl spaces. There were able to communicate effectively and took the time necessary to do a thorough job without cutting corners. I am extremely pleased with their work. I highly recommend the Salem, VA team of William Draper, Keinan Hambrick and Alex Wilson. They are exemplary workers and employees who exceeded my expectations.

Warranty work NOT performed after 3 months of waiting. Outside waterproofing and excavation completely failed and they will not come back to fix it. They keep calling for payment for work that either hasn't been done or was done incorrectly. They did manage to put up expensive carbon fiber, which I did pay for and just have to pray was done correctly and works since I don't know very much about that. I have emailed, called and will soon make a personal appearance to try to resolve this huge problem. They promise they stand behind their customer and talk a good game, but when push comes to shove, they are silent. I know my job is small and won't net them a lot of money, but I deserve the service they promised as much as the next person. I was patient for over 2 months, but it's gotten ridiculous with excuses and not contacting me. They let a rented bobcat sit in my driveway for almost 2 weeks. As soon as I complained the excavation needed fixed, they came and got it the same day. If they can waste that kind of rental money, they can write off the rest of my balance! I've paid over $11,500 for a job that is less that sub par. If I could give them a lower rater than what's listed above I would. Save yourself time, money, frustration and your house/yard in a constant state of disrepair and find another company!!!!!! I am gladly sharing my phone number below. MAYBE they will actually call me......update:..After a rough start, the work quality has improved. Dimitrius did a great job correcting a problem caused by a previous employee. Joe Campbell has stuck with me through thick and thin. Today, he and Jeff came to complete the warranty work. I’m very hopeful the next year passes with no problems so I can refinish my basement.

Did a great job the first time!

I was told they would be digging by hand, they said I should not have been told that, they took my fence down, and I lost 2 plants.

I met with Christian Distler-Caravetta and he is simply the best. He provided us sound recommendations on what we needed done and supported us throughout the project. I had gotten 3 quotes for the job of raising our old house and the other 2 guys didn't even go under the house to do measurements. The prices were extreme to say the least. But, JES was the better choice and mostly because of Christian. Once the work crew showed up I saw a very professional team that worked confidently together. We were very impressed and we will use JES again.

They were very friendly and the customer service has been great. They initially quoted higher than another company but were willing to match prices. I chose them because they came with better recommendations from friends and seemed to have better customer service. The work is great. They come back periodically to apply additional lift to the house.

I would recommend JES to anyone looking for an A+ company for foundation work. Roberto, Fausto and Camilo were the best guys JES could have on their staff. They were on time everyday. They explained the work step by step. These guys never disrupted my life at all. They sealed my crawl space, put in a sub pump and raised the house as described before the work was started. They never did anything that was not explained first and thoroughly. With three days of work, they were in and out. Now my home is more comfortable that it was before the work started. The commercials are real. I will call JES again when I need their services. You should too!

Priced fairly and their brick mason did an excellent job and even matched the older mortar. They did not try to sell us services we did not need.

Christian Distler-Caravetta is a consummate professional. He was very helpful in making sure I had the details of what the problem was and fully explained the solution. Christian is easy to talk to and ensures there are questions on how and when he can have a crew fix the problem. I would highly recommend him and JES to solve any water or structure issues. He represents JES with a high degree of honesty and professional knowledge.

These guys are not cheap, but, you get what you pay for. They came when they said they would. They did what they said they’d do. The workmanship was excellent. They cleaned up.

The work crew assigned were pretty professional and did a good job. I do not feel that what we were promised in the sales pitch and what was in the contract is what we got. It was alluded that the wall crack would close up some. This did not HAPPEN! But I feel that we are stabilized and the wall is safe in that regard.

We have a 100-year-old house that has a problem where a foundation wall was removed and posts were installed to support the house when the cellar was drugged out. They have replaced two posts and have completed an initial lift. They are returning in July to perform another lift. I was very satisfied with how they are handling my concerns with raising the house back up too quickly.

The cure for crawlspace drama! We recently had JES encapsulate our crawlspace and install a dehumidifier and could not be happier with the service/workmanship, value and finished product. Had some mold, insulation and humidity issues and decided it was time to end the drama once and for all. Work started within a week of signing the contract and was completed in three days (3,000+ square foot crawlspace). Tiger and his crew treated our home as if it were their own. Respect, professionalism and proactive communication were the hallmark throughout the process. Only regret, wished we had made this investment five years ago when we bought our home!
