Description of Work: Had a home inspection question. Chuck came to the house and gave his opinion. He was in the neighborhood. He confirmed the concern I had about the house. No charge since it was a quick visit and he was in the area already. Chuck was very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: We were in the process of purchasing a home from out of town. It was an older, large home and we were referred Chuck by our agent. His estimate for the repair was $1800 plus 100 radon inspection. I have purchased a number of larger homes and this did seem very high, but given the referral, I thought I would contact him regarding what he additional expertise he would be providing for such a difference in price (others were quoting 500-600). Feeling somewhat vulnerable being out of town, I thought that we could proceed but asked if we had questions about the appraisal, would he be willing to do a walk through on the house. He gave a very curt reply that this would be for an additional fee. For a premium initial price, I would have expected a higher level of professionalism and a little more flexibility.
