Description of Work: They re-installed a hot waster heater according to code because the original |Installer used bad connections and did a substandard job . This was the second job they performed for us. Expensive but very well done.

Description of Work: I enlarged my bathroom; gutted everything down to studs. Classic Plumbing relocated tub, toilet, and sink. Jason spent time with me planning how to rebuild the floor and offered great advice. I especially appreciate how he worked with me on this project. I will call them to return when Durock and tiles are installed, so he can finish up.

Description of Work: I was a little hesitant when I was told the price to snake the drain but decided to go ahead and them do it anyway. A few hours later, I was very glad that I had decided to not do it myself. What I figured was a simple problem turned into pipes having to be replaced due to the pipes having an improper slope during construction, and I was VERY glad I had someone else that was both capable, and able to do the work quickly and for a fair price.

Description of Work: Its a Sunday night, the day has been perfect, I come home after a nice Sunday dinner at the parents and head downstairs to start laundry and I walk into the laundry room to find water covering one half of the room. It seems a pin size leak in one of the joints of my old copper pipes had burst. Great. Not knowing what to do but shut the water off to the whole house, I did just that and preceded upstairs to grab the phone book. I ended up calling Classic Plumbing Solutions in Salem, VA. They were extremely efficient in getting someone over to our house to fix this leak w/ two hours! John, our serviceman was very nice, knowledgeable, and could quote almost to the dime. He fixed the leak in about an hour and we were back up and running! After he was done, I wanted to know and he explained what he replaced and why those areas were starting to leak. Yes, this led to additional work, but I already knew it needed to be done I just haven't taken the time to address it b/c it was preventative maintenance not an immediate need. He told me how much it would cost and when he came back a week later to fix the larger job it was exactly that price. A nice change. Now, I'm not one to sit down and write reviews but I felt this company, and their employee John were worthy of a review after that. Besides, John is the one who told me about Angie's List. ; )

Description of Work: Checked out a Ruud natural gas water heater that failed to heat. Reset the water heater by unplugging it and plugging it back in (something I already tried prior to calling the company). Wanted an additional $179 to vacuum the water heater igniter area. That is a bit expensive for 5-15 minutes of additional work. Decided to vacuum myself.
