they arrived the day they said they would and took a 30 min lunch where they also went to pick up supplies to complete the job(furnace and new duct took up room in van). a/c was up and running the first day. they came back the second day to complete furnace hookup and finish some duct work. *****UPDATE***** It has been over a year now and the furnace is still working great. heat was awesome over the winter and our bill was about $100/month for gas(we also have gas stove) Bryson has since come out and given estimates on other future work for us and was super knowledgeable about spray foam insulation that we are having done and the effects on our HVAC system. we recommend them to anyone and everyone we know.

They arrived promptly to do the install. All work appeared to be in order and care was taken to do a neat job. That's where things changed. The brand installed is a Trane. By the way you can stop a Trane regardless of their slogan. At first the unit would shut off with an error. They made about 3 or 4 trips over here under warranty. (10 year parts and labor warranty) Finally they figured out I think by just replacing things that it was a defective blower motor. Once the blower problem was fixed it became apparent that something else was seriously wrong. The AC unit would not keep the house at a constant temperature inside. Here's an example. Outside temperature rose to 90F. The thermostat was set to 75 degrees. During the day the temperature gradually increases in the house to 82 degrees F!! They have worked on this problem AT LEAST 15 times. Finally they called in a factory representative from Richmond, VA about 4 hours away from here. He determined after numerous tests that the airflow is the problem and that the air intake on the system was about HALF the size that it should have been. I've been very patient with them. No screaming and yelling....yet. Now they want an additional $2100 to up to as much as $2500 to finish the job. I made them naggingly aware that the far room in my house was hot in the summer and cold in the winter. They knew in advance that this was a problem. I even received a quote from Cundiff Heating and Air that mentioned we needed new duct work done but like a dummy I liked the guys and Bryson better and hired them for about the same price as I could have had the whole thing fixed for. Now I've subscribed to Angie's List and will faithfully check it before I hire anyone. Buyer Beware. The husband, wife, son team at Bryson are very nice people and they have guessed diligently trying to fix this but I don't think they had any experience with this system at all.
