estimator gave us an estimate for not only a specific job we needed done, but then also spotted other issues he claimed his company could fix. We then had to wait 8 days for a written estimate which did not detail the various jobs with prices for each. When we called to get the cost itemization the owner acted annoyed and reticent to expedite the itemized list. When the list came the pricing was exorbitant. We compared the prices with that of a competitor and found his prices to be up to two and a half times more costly.

Bob Harrie has done numerous small and large plumbing, electrical, and HVAC jobs for me. He does jobs as small as installing a ceiling fan to replacing my HVAC system completely. He is knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and competent. On the most recent job , he installed a 220 volt outlet for my outdoor hot tub. He's not cheap but he is reasonably priced. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do this kind of work for me.

I called Harrie Plumbing and Heating to address a sulphur smell coming from the hot water. I had hired another plumber to come out last week and they had changed the anode at my request. They did nothing further and left. The smell returned after a day. Harrie plumbers immediately checked out the temperature settings on the hot water heater and found them both to be set well below the correct temperatures. (The temperatures had been set that way since 2008 when the house was built.) They also asked if the water heater had been drained following the anode rod change. It had not been drained so they completely drained it and gave me some pointers on maintenance. The smell is finally gone and I've found a plumber I can trust.
